I really loved the Hasbro toys...they were fun and cool and stylish...these current WWE toys are really quite boring in comparison....I hope they get back to simple and fun....even going with the TNA's "smash action" this and that would be okay with me...but I'd really prefer something full-out kiddy...because really that's the whole attraction to toys...
It would also hopefully reduce the costs of these and you'd see them for maybe 8 dollars per single...11 per two-pack and maybe even some cheaper 3-packs...with constant updates of figures that you'd actually want....it's more than just getting Edge's new attire from last Friday...you want him to have chair smashing action while he makes the change...and drop kicking action in a different, older version.
Anyone else feel this way?

It'll never happen. If in some alternate reality their main line was going to be like you described, i'd be all for it... as I don't collect anymore, so it would be something interesting to look at. However I think if I were still collecting i'd want "proper" figures, perhaps they'd do something like this as a side-line, but it seems doubtful.

Yeah, I've always hated built in action features. When you said like TNA was hoping you meant scale and articulation because really what better action feature could there be besides a Sharkboy sized Mysterio with double jointed elbows.

Before I decided to look at the date this thread started, I was gonna say the obvious "Uhh hello, Flex Force." I think those are kinda dumb though. The little action smash this and that was the very reason I didn't have many TNA figures at all.

i have seen flex force in stores and i think they are terrible w the exception of maybe rey. I think the only reason the first series was lacking was the costumes. The reason Rey was okay because all his costumes work all the time pretty much. I haven't seen the Michaels yet though, he might be a keeper.

Since I found out about Mattel getting the rights I have been hoping for Hasbro style chase figures (classic and current) but doubt it will happen...

No...making them like Hasbro's would be an awful idea. The action features were the worst part of those figures.

If your a kid then yea ofcourse your gonna want figures like this and keep just buying flex force. For older people or just people that like to collect or make customs then basics and elite are pretty much perfect. plus for when you want to pose them or set them up in your ring and you cant do that with flex force or hasbros. And i dont think im the only person that thought this but with the faces and arms....most of the flex force just look like their jerking off.
