Manu and Umaga are in some way or another Cousins. Umaga's late mother was Afa's sister.

I'll relate this t othe thread I made on this same forum (called a ltitle bit of a rant), but it's not that it took too short of amount of time to happen, it just didnt have much depth and when it happened it was sort of anti-climactic. I feel like something else should have happened inbetween to really set it off. Orton taking out Ted was dramatic, but I feel like one more even more extreme event needed to happen after that and between now to really cement it.

Why does Manu and Umaga have to be together? Lets put Chris Jericho and Gavin Spears together, they're both white Because it makes sense. Now stop being so friggin sensitive. Its not about being sensitive, its about not putting wrestlers together just because they have similar attires and are related/of the same race. They have absolutely nothing to do with each other, other than what I listed. And if I felt that people wanted them together for any other reason than that they're both Samoan, I'd come up with a different scenario, but thats why people want them together. Lets put Edge and Val Venis together, Edge used to be married to Venis' sister. Or how about we make Michelle McCool the Dead Woman? Manu is perfectly fine where he is Would we throw Deuce in there as well?

honestly, i'm surprised wwe didn't pull it off earlier, what with their track record. but yeah, i feel it is too soon, but, i don't watch raw that much, so i don't really care too much - no offence intended

I thought it would be cool if they had Ted side with...say CM Punk and Kofi to go against Legacy then in a 6-man or major moment (CM/Randy ) title shot Ted turns again ...that would give him more of a (hit nerve moment ) with all the sensitive fans

WWE did the same thing that you're preaching against. They put multigeneration superstars in a stable together. I'm willing to put money on the fact that this stable wouldn't be happening if they didn't have famous dads. Now out of the two which makes more sense: Put Manu with Umaga and form an appenticeship or possibly The Wild Samoans 2.0, or Put him with Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Ted Jr.? I'd say the former and not the latter. No disrespect man, I just strongly dissagree with your points. I think people are overreacting to this thing. I mean, would either of the other Legacy members look right in a group of Samoans, or black guys? No. It may sound like I'm suggesting segregation but I'm really not. I'm just saying that with the attitude of the group and the look that they are going for, he just DOES NOT FIT IN. The fact that he's a fat Samoan just doesn't help it.

Legacy is a new idea though, I say pretty much anyone is game as long as they seem like a normal person. Umaga isn't, he's a savage and wouldn't fit with a regular team. Manu doesn't play up much of his Samoan side in his gimmick. Umaga, Grand Master Sexay or Goldust wouldn't fit in due to their outlandish gimmicks. Teaming a mindless brute with a normal guy in a new version of a legendary tag team doesn't seem to add up to me (plus, remember how much everyone pissed on Heidenreich in LoD?)

I would like to see something end up being Ted & Joe Hennig, Cody & Goldust, Manu & Umaga or Rosey, and Mike & Bret DiBiase

A perfect person (no pun intended) to bring into this stable is Joe Hennig.

I really wish the US title would switch over to Raw especially since SD uses the ECW title often. That way Orton could be world, DiBiase-IC, Rhodes-US and then have Manu team with a repackaged Solo Snuka (Deuce) and be tag champs.

Terrible group, if you ask me. Randy Orton is too good to be teaming up with anybody.
