My grandparents bought Superstars series 3 for my brother and me in 1996 when we stumbled upon them at Wal-Mart.

Man I was thinking about this from the 'Will you be sad' thread and the KB closing stuff.
I guess it was around the same time for me cuz I am going to be 25 next summer. But actually, I was in 7th grade so it had to be '97. My mom had taken a good buddy of mine (who I didn't meet until 7th grade) with us to the mall & we saw BCA1 in KB. We were so excited and thought they were awesome. I bought Taker and he got Deisel. We kind of had them fight on the way home and both bought alot more from them on and would tell each other about our fig feds. Good memories man.

Look pumpkin, if me calling the post silly hurt your feeling so badly, I will be the bigger man for and say I am sorry for saying it. You don't need to go all hostile cause someone has a differing opinion than you. I used the word SILLY not stupid, not dumb- just silly. I even tried to contribute to your thread by adding some humor to it. Chillax, bro I am not out to get you I will even modify the post for you so we can hug it out and start a bromance. Hope these efforts will satisfy you Mr. Peep. Cheers. Haha. You didn't hurt my feelings. Difference of opinion doesn't bother me either. What hurt me was asking about the / because I didn't do them.

The first wrestling figure I got was in early 1997 and it was a BCA Series #2 HBK in blue (rerelease of BCA #1). I had just gotten into wrestling a month or so earlier and was all about the figures. Ever since then I've been an avid buyer and collector, always will be. I'm sad to see JAKKS go because I love their WWE figures, but I'm also optimistic about what Mattel could offer.

ya...i liked WCW and was like why cant Toybiz make as many figures as Jakks. My first TTL (Vince) I loved and my mom (god bless her) took me to a few different stores THAT DAY after dropping $30 on the Titantron set to look for figures for it. My first r3 was matt hardy who i found at Target and just decided to get because i wanted to try out the style. My first RA was all of RA 1 but Brock/Cena...i called up KB randomly and my dad drove me in terrible weather to get them for $7.99 a pop (which was a lot then but it was buy one get 1 free), god i loved Ra's. My first DA wa sthe PP Cena, that I got in a trade. I liked it enough to give DA's a try but soon switched back to RA's when in 8 months all I was able to acquire was 2 series of Da's, and i missed the fluidness of ra's.

I saw the entire BCA Series 1 set and bought 2 of each (one for MOC and 1 for loose display). Tried to buy every single BCA but eventually didn't like the BCAs much and stopped collecting until the CS line.

Some RA Angle got me to start collection. I traded it to my friend like 3-4 days later for a cooler Angle.

It had to be just after they started using Real Scan. My first figure was some Triple H in jeans.

i remember i was running errands with my mom, and i saw this huge wall, right near the cash registers, FULL on BCA 1. i had seen them in a toy magazine or wwf magazine or something. had no idea when they were coming out though. so i ended up getting goldust and bret hart. i was pumped and did dozens of matches with the 2. then i remember getting bored with just two and going back to hasbros until i found more and more bcas. great days...

I had always been into wrestling figures back to the AWA Remco's, LJN's, and Hasbro's. As a kid I was real upset when there was a big time period there when nothing was coming out. Than one day in 1996 when I was just about to turn 13 I had gone into Ames with my mom and as always went to the toy aisle. To my surprise I saw all of these new figures which were BCA series 1. I grabbed Shawn & Bret and played with them nonstop. A few days later for my birthday my mom bought the rest of the series for me. I continued collecting up until the BCA's faded out and TTL begun. I stopped collecting at that time and didn't pick up again until CS10 when I saw Sabu and had to buy it. I've been hooked back in ever since.

A few years back when I started liking wrestling, we went shopping & I saw some RA's from one of the earlier series of RA, like 10 or 12. I got Batista (in white shirt & black pants) & Eugene.
