Does anyone here know a good way of finding bootleg type figures online? Whenever I search for figures on ebay, there are so many WWE (and to a lesser extent WCW and TNA) figures that it would take hours to sift through. I know bootlegs are usually so crappy that they wouldn't be worth paying postage for, but my local pound shops don't seem to have any wrestlers at all (though I did pick up a Keira Knightley from Pirates of the Caribbean that's pretty much in scale with BnB figures).
I'm not after factory reject type ones, I like the generic and made-up characters.

No real way other than hunting. Here in the states we have dollar stores & discount places that carry that sort of thing.

Its pure luck mate.
My nearest pound shops used to sell loads of fake hasbros a couple of years back... not a sniff now.
Your best bet is finding out the name of the bootleg company, the best hasbro ones are MANNIX and Simba as mentioned in other threads and typing that in the ebay search bar. Or, looking at 'lots' or bulk figures on ebay, sometimes you get a mix bunch of figs. One i saw a few months back had 3 hasbros, 2 galoobs 3 or 4 bca's a couple of power rangers and a fake hogan hasbro.
Sorry its not a great deal of help, but its the way i look.

ask someone here. post it in the classifieds and maybe someone has some for sale or will get you some. there alot of places in the US that carry knockoffs that the CMLL figs use as bodies. i get them from this place called Rose's. they are great for customs. happy hunting.

There is no way to really get your hands on them.. there is not a "bootleg shop" sign on any store.. the way I did it and got all my bootleg figures.. I went to $1.00 stores once a month.. Not to ring my own bell here, but I believe that I have more Bootleg figures than anyone else on this board. I have over 11 different series of figures.. each having anywhere from 6 figures per set to 10 figures per set.. just keep hitting your own $1 stores need you...you will get them.. this may take some time.. also on ebay.. type in Wrestling figure, Wrestling figures, Wrestler figure, Wrestler figures..etc.. you will come across some.. but you will pay more.
later pm me if you wish to see some of my bootlegs..

I have been trying to track down the hasbro bootlegs the last few weeks and after searching ebay I have finally come across some.... basically do an initial search on ebay typing - wwf / wwe - narrow the category down to toys and games and search, then type in wrestling and do the same - you'll get loads of returns but once you have done it once next time do the same search but select 'newley listed' so you only get the things that have been added recently.....

I collect all Bootleg or "knock off figures" or "KO" the new ones are dime a dozen and easy to find. The places like Dollar General, Family Dollar , Big Lots I've bought sets at K-Mart under Cool Kidz line , the new larger bodies are easy. The Hasbro ones are harder to find , I myself look for any Mannix style body figure wrestler or not. Its also good to keep a list of the lines in your head or written down . In New York a lot of the bodega style stores carry TONS of bootlegs wrestling and other brands. In the UK you have TONS of awesome lines that were never even made in the states. The problem with searches are many do not have manufacturers on the individual figures being they are distributed by different company's .
