Nice opening segment to start off the show Good opening match, would have liked for Hade to go over. Post match was decent. Three decent segments, but I feel it would lose a lot of viewers in real life. Happy to see Jack retain, good match. Ok main event. Good ending and post match was solid.

Liked the Kennedy/Burke segment, especially the 2007 cheap shot there. Fine that Hardy won his match, keeps him strong. Good title defense there for Swagger, liking his TV Title reign. Like Santino saying he's the most extreme superstar; segment next week should be funny. Solid ending to the show.

- I did like the interaction between Burke/Kennedy, but I didn’t like it that Kennedy acknowledged that his career has been in a downward spiral. Just something I wouldn’t have done. - Good win for Hardy. Expecting Brood to go over at the PPV. ‘ - Swagger/Helms seemed like a good contest. The styles I would think would match up well. - DQ finish makes sense to me. I like that Jackson is getting some air time. - I really like the ECW brand in this diary.

Haven't grasped hanging around this diary as of late, but good opening promo to kick off ECW on Sci-Fi, I like the sound of Elijah Burke feuding Mr Kennedy over the ECW Championship, but I hope Burke wins. Don't really enjoy Kennedy, to be honest. Woo, Hade Vansen gets some coverage, him losing to Matt Hardy is fine, however, the length of the match was what counted. New Nation of Domination with Tony Atlas, Mark Henry and Ezekiel Jackson? Good ECW Television Championship defense by Jack Swagger against Hurricane Helms. Hehe, didn't expect Mr Kennedy vs Mark Henry to be any good.

Smackdown 5/15/09 Preview
-Last week's Smackdown ended with mystery as Randy Orton and The Undertaker squared off in the back. Just before Orton could deliver a sick punt to Undertaker, the lights in the back went out. When they came on Undertaker was nowhere to be seen. This Friday, they will meet in tag team action when Undertaker teams with Jeff Hardy to take on Umaga & World Champion Randy Orton. What will happen when Umaga & Jeff get into the ring before their tag team Street Fight at Judgment Day? And what will go down when Orton & 'Taker actually meet in a ring?
-Also last week, Mr. Money in the Bank, Shelton Benjamin made a statement when he laid out CM Punk. He then said that he's the Gold Standard of Money in the Bank winners and challenged Punk to a match at Judgment Day. Punk accepted, but before the PPV, Benjamin will step into the ring against an old rival from his ECW days, Kofi Kingston!
-Finally, new Divas Champion Gail Kim will defend her Championship against the Divas she beat for it, Natalya. These two had a very good encounter back at Backlash and the rematch will not disappoint. Can Natalya regain her title and have The New Hart Foundation once again carry a lot of gold? Or can Kim continue her rise since her return to the WWE?

May 15th, 2009 Concesco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana Attendance: 14,440
Smackdown opens with a video package showcasing last week’s events. It shows the ending events between The Undertaker and World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton.
The opening fireworks display go off and our announce team of Tazz and Jim Ross introduce us to the show. They hype tonight’s tag team main event featuring The Undertaker teaming with Jeff Hardy to take on Umaga and Randy Orton. Before they can continue to announce any matches, we are joined by Chris Jericho.
Chris Jericho: I know everybody must be a little confused as of late. I mean, you all have tuned into Smackdown the last two weeks and saw myself, the greatest wrestler on the planet and reigning superstar of the year, doing pretty much nothing. I haven’t made an impact on my new show, I haven’t been involved in any major events, hell, I’m not even going to wrestle at Judgment Day. And to be honest, there’s a reason for all of that. You see, while I lay back, I allowed Randy Orton, CM Punk and everybody else to engage themselves in a rivalry. Meanwhile, I, Chris Jericho, have been scouting the Smackdown roster. I know when I’m going to strike and I already know who I’m going to strike. It may be tonight, it may be next week, none of you will know until it happens. So for those of you who thought I was gone from the spotlight…think again.
Commercial Break.
Tag Team Match Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder vs. The Second City Saints
Both teams are trying to get into Tag Team Title contention, which the Hart Foundation have control of especially after last week’s Steel Cage victory. Onto the match, these four provided a fine opening match that featured good tag team wrestling and double team moves. After some back and forth action, Goldman finished off the match by making Hawkins tap out to the Chicago Crab.
Winners: The Second City Saints (5:19) **½
In the back, we see Vickie Guerrero and Edge. Vickie’s telling him that she’s very worried about his upcoming Street Fight in two nights at Judgment Day. Edge says not to worry because he & Umaga are a great team and they will do everything they can to take out Shane McMahon and Jeff Hardy. She still looks worried though.
Commercial Break.
World Champion Randy Orton is seen arriving at the arena. Todd Grisham runs up to him and asks him how he feels about his tag match tonight and what was going through his mind last week during his altercation with The Undertaker. Orton just stares at him and walks away.
Singles Match Primo w/ Carlito vs. Lawrence Knight w/ United States Champion The Brian Kendrick
This was pretty much put on the card to showcase that Knight can be an intimidating force. He hit numerous European uppercuts to start the match. He nailed a big boot and followed it up with a power bomb, but Primo kicked out. Primo hit a few high flying moves, but missed one and got caught with a spine buster to end it.
Winner: Lawrence Knight (4:44) **
Knight and Kendrick celebrated in the ring until Carlito got upset with that and got into Kendrick’s face. He pushed Kendrick, which just made Knight pick him up and drop him with a spine buster as well.
Commercial Break.
In the back we see Harry Smith and TJ Wilson with their WWE Tag Team Titles, talking about their big win last week. Natalya Neidhart comes in and promises to bring more gold back to The New Hart Foundation and she’s going to do it with them staying in the back. They all agree and she leaves.
Singles Match Kofi Kingston vs. Shelton Benjamin
CM Punk was on commentary during this match as his friend was taking on his opponent for Judgment Day. Just like their encounters back in ECW, Kofi and Benjamin put on a solid match. The match spilled to the outside where Shelton threw Kofi into the steel steps and Kofi was down until the count of nine. After that, Kofi began to take control for a while. He hit his double leg drop and had momentum, but he missed Trouble in Paradise, and Shelton dropped him with Paydirt.
Winner: Shelton Benjamin (11:16) ***¼
After the match, Shelton went to the outside to grab his Money in the Bank briefcase. He got right into Punk’s face, and punched him. The two began to trade punches until officials broke them up.
Commercial Break.
Divas Championship Gail Kim (c) vs. Natalya Neidhart
Their Backlash match was the best women’s match of the year possibly, and while this wasn’t on that level, it was still very competitive. Kim came out firing and hit cross bodies and arm drags right out of the gate. After surviving that flurry, Natalya began to wear down Kim by working on her legs. After a short while of that, Natalya locked on the Sharpshooter. Kim managed to reach the ropes though. Natalya picked her up for her sitout powerbomb, but Kim reversed it into a hurricanrana, yet only got a two count. As Kim went to pick her up, Natalya pulled her into a small package for the surprise victory.
Winner and NEW Divas Champion: Natalya Neidhart (6:58) **¾
Kim was left in the ring looking very upset with herself that she let this match slip away and lost her title in just her first defense.
Commercial Break.
In the back, the New Hart Foundation is seen celebrating Natalya’s victory. She’s on the phone with her dad and mentions that she’s the first ever 2 time Divas Champion. She tells Wilson and Smith that “The Anvil” is proud of their accomplishments so far as a tag team. They all look pleased at this.
Tag Team Match World Champion Randy Orton & Umaga vs. Jeff Hardy & The Undertaker
As expected, the crowd was way into this match and were hoping to see ‘Taker and Orton square off in the ring, but it just wouldn’t happen. Umaga and Orton took turns beating on Jeff for a while. Umaga locked on a nerve hold at one point and Orton his trademark over the back neck breaker and Jeff was hurting. Eventually though, Jeff got free and made the hot tag to ‘Taker, who came in and dominated Umaga. After a while of ‘Taker being in control, he threw Umaga off the ropes, and Orton tagged Umaga on the back. As he came off the ropes, ‘Taker caught him with a big chokeslam. Orton ran in and rolled him up, pulling the tights, but ‘Taker kicked out. At this point, Edge ran down and began to beat on Jeff Hardy, causing the DQ.
Winners by DQ: The Undertaker & Jeff Hardy (12:05) ***¼
Shane McMahon runs down to do battle with Edge. Umaga and Jeff joined the battle and it became an all out brawl. Orton managed to scatter away before Undertaker could get to him and he backed up the ramp clutching his Title while ‘Taker did the throat cut signal.

5/16/09 Edition -A lot of people have been wondering why the WWE have chosen to go with up to nine matches on recent PPV cards. The reason behind it is that the WWE feels that some of its best PPVs came in '99-'00 when their regularly featured 9-10 matches and showcased a lot of the mid card -There has been some talk of reviving the Crusierweight division, but it's highly unlikely -JBL's will indeed have a new Cabinet in upcoming weeks. It will follow the same format as the original. A mid carder, tag team & diva -There is talk of giving the Benjamin/Punk and MVP/HHH matches at Judgment Day a lot of time. The feeling is that both matches could be show stealers

Wow, 28 pages already. SmackDown was fantastic from top to bottom. The Second City Saints getting a win is good. Lawrence Knight? Cool. I'm shocked that Gail Kim lost the Diva's title so soon since she only won it at Backlash. STACKED main event. Star power galore.

I like Jericho starting off the show. Good promo. Solid opening contest, I like that you use Second City Saints Decent backstage promo. Nothing special about the next match, good call on Knight winning though. I liked the Kofi/Shelton match, allowed for both men to get some good air time. Happy Shelton won. Surprised with the title change, shocking call, but a good one. Solid main event, good ending.

I did reply to this last night but apperinitely it didn't post. ¬_¬
- Jericho opening the show is great, expect him to attack someone at Judgment Day. - Second City Saint's getting the win is great, Cabana and Steel are solid workers. - Knight getting the win makes sense, I've only seen a pic of him from FCW, will have to check his work. - Kofi vs Kingston was a real solid match, the right man went over. - Surprising title change, Stampede Bulldogs and Natalya having the tag titles and diva's title is fantastic. - Solid main event, DQ finish kept everyone strong.
Looking forward to Judgment Day, here's hoping Kane retains the title.

Good Jericho promo to remind the crowd of him. Ok tag match to open the show, nothing special. Don't really know who Knight is. Shelton/Kofi seemed very good, still loving the way Shelton has been used in this diary. Natalya winning is fine, I just hope she doesn't have a really long reign. Huge main event there, nobody gets hurt because of the DQ loss.

Judgment Day opens with a video package highlighting the past few weeks of events between Randy Orton and The Undertaker and Elijah Burke and Mr. Kennedy. After showing that it shows quick clips of the stuff between CM Punk and Shelton Benjamin and MVP and Triple H. Lastly it shows the history between Shane, Jeff Hardy, Umaga & Edge. After all of that, the video goes blank, but when it comes back on John Cena’s theme is playing and it hypes up his return tonight against WWE Champion, Kane!
After all six announcers welcome us to the show; the show is taken over by Todd Grisham and Matt Striker. They take us through a short history of the upcoming six man tag match.Six Man Tag: Rey Mysterio, Tommy Dreamer & Matt Hardy vs. The Brood w/ GangrelThe Brood opened the show and got a mixed reaction, mostly due to their cool entrance as they came out from the fire like the original Brood did. The faces were next and each man got a good pop, Mysterio receiving the best. The match itself proved to be a fantastic opener. Matt and Tyler Black started off and they started hot. They used an indy style stand off early in the match and Black was really impressing in the ring. He hit his Paroxsym, a reverse brain buster, but Matt kicked out. All six men tagged in and out over the next few minutes and the match was going great. Each man hit a key move. Besides Black’s Paroxysm, Thorn hit an Outsider’s Edge type move, Vansen hit his Spike DDT, Dreamer hit the Dreamer Driver, Matt hit the Side Effect & Mysterio hit a splash and all ended up as near falls broken up by the other team. After Vansen broke up a count, Dreamer ran in and clotheslined him to the outside. Matt then nailed Tyler Black with a Twist of Fate and grabbed Thorn for one. Gangrel got on the apron and Matt let go of Thorn. Matt ran at Gangrel, who got off the apron and Matt went flying over the top. Gangrel got back on the apron and Mysterio went after him, but he spit blood right into his face. Mysterio, blinded, turned right into Thorn who put him on the top rope and hit the Original Sin. Winners: The Brood (13:19) ***½The Brood celebrate their win as they leave up the ramp, leaving the faces in the ring looking upset at how they lost. The cameras cut to the backstage area where Montel Vontavious Porter is being interviewed. He talks about how he’s coming for blood tonight after what Triple H did to Eve two weeks ago. He also mentioned that this is MVP’s next big step on the road to the WWE Championship!Women’s Championship: Beth Phoenix (c) vs. VictoriaVictoria was out first and got a very good reaction from the crowd. Much better than you would expect for someone who just turned face again. Beth was out next to mostly boos. These two are the two most powerful divas on the WWE roster. Victoria started out hot and nailed a surprising military press slam and followed it with a standing moonsault for a two. Beth rolled out of the ring, surprised by her opponent’s strength. This breather helped Beth as she began to be her usual dominating self after this. She locked in a chicken wing style submission but Victoria didn’t tap. Then she hit a gutwrench suplex and a sidewalk slam. She got two counts after both moves. Beth attempted her fisherman suplex, but Victoria blocked it and hit a snap suplex of her own. She then her Black Widow slam but only got a near fall. Victoria called for the end of the match and she had Beth set up for the Widow’s Peak. Beth swept Victoria’s legs out from under her and rolled through for a pin, yet Victoria managed to kick out. They both got up at the same time, and Beth ducked a punch, got behind Victoria, hooked her and dropped her with the Glam Slam. Winner and Still Women’s Champion: Beth Phoenix (7:27) **½Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole really sell that this was Beth’s toughest title defense in recent memory and that Victoria is trying her best to win a Championship before she retires, which could be in the very near future. In the back, we see Chris Jericho arriving at the arena. The announcers wonder why he’s here as he’s not scheduled to show up. Next, we cut to see Vickie Guerrero attempting to amp up Edge & Umaga in her office. She tells them that she wants complete control of Smackdown again and for that to happen, she needs to get rid of Shane McMahon.Intercontinental Championship: Paul Burchill (c) w/ Katie Lea vs. Ted Dibiase Jr. w/ Cody Rhodes & Joe Henning vs. Evan BourneDibiase and the rest of Legacy come to the ring first to a chorus of boos. Bourne follows and gets a major pop as he’s really over with the crowd. Burchill and his sister are next and they too get a lot of heat. While this wasn’t on the level of the Intercontinental Title matches back at Royal Rumble or WrestleMania, it was still very good. The heels both went after Bourne at the start of the match. It started as just a beat down, but evolved into Burchill and Dibiase hitting actual moves. Burchill hit a belly to belly suplex and a shoulder breaker, while Dibiase nailed a belly to back suplex and his dad’s trademark fist drop. He attempted a cover, which got Burchill upset and they began to go at it. Burchill got the upper hand during that exchange when he hit the Twisted Sister (jumping cutter). He covered but Bourne broke it up. Bourne took over at this point. He nailed the diving double knees off the tope to Burchill, and then hit Dibiase with the cannonball leg drop for a near fall. He followed that up with his gorgeous standing moonsault but Burchill broke up the pin. Burchill set up for the C4, but Bourne got out of it and snapped off a hurricanrana which sent Burchill to the outside. As Paul got up, Bourne met him with a suicide dive to the outside. At this point, Henning slid something into the ring for Dibiase to use. Dibiase grabbed the item, which turned out to be brass knuckles, and placed them on his hand. Bourne got back in the ring and Dibiase leveled him with it. He quickly slid them back out the ring and hit the Dream Street to steal the victory. Winner and NEW Intercontinental Champion: Ted Dibiase Jr. (12:41) ***Legacy celebrated the win as they left up the ramp, Rhodes putting the title on Dibiase Jr.’s waist. Burchill and his sister look on, very upset, while Bourne is still knocked out in the ring. Now we cut to a commercial advertising the next Pay-Per-View. It’s Sunday night, June 7th, the official return of the King of The Ring Pay-Per-View! Within the next few weeks, eight of the WWE’s brightest young stars will compete in the King of The Ring tournament, with the winner receiving a WWE, ECW, or World Title shot at SummerSlam!CM Punk vs. Shelton BenjaminMr. Money in the Bank, Shelton Benjamin was out first, and drew some pretty good heat. It’s very good that he’s drawing heat and he seems to be finally getting over as a heel. Punk was next, and as usual, got one of the loudest ovations of the night, more so tonight because we are in his home town. As expected, this was given a lot of time. It started out slowly as both men attempted to out work the other on the mat. Shelton had a slight advantage here, but Punk’s quickness made up for that. Despite it being early in the match, Punk attempted his knee strike/bulldog combo in the corner, but Shelton moved out of the way. He whipped him into the opposite corner and nailed a stinger splash. He climbed to the top and went for the block buster, but Punk got out of the way and Shelton crashed down hard. This allowed Punk to go to the apron and hit a springboard clothesline for a near fall. Punk nailed a tilt a whirl back breaker and a double underhook back breaker for another near fall. He picked up Shelton for the GTS, but Shelton elbowed his way out of it and hit the cobra clutch back breaker. He followed that up with the Shell Bomb in the corner for a near fall. He waited for Punk to get up and delivered a crushing kick to the head. He took Punk to the top and hit a superplex, and both men were down for a little while. When they got up, Shelton hit the Dragon Whip kick for a two count. Shelton attempted to go for the Exploder, but Punk elbowed him and hoisted him up for the GTS. Benjamin again found a way out by grabbing the ropes, so Punk threw him in the air and let him crash on the top rope, creating a whip last effect. For a third time, Punk picked him up for the GTS, but Shelton fell back into a crucifix roll up to gain the win from out of nowhere. Winner: Shelton Benjamin (19:26) ****¼Punk looked disappointed in himself at how he lost as Benjamin had the GTS very well scouted. Shelton grabbed his briefcase and left, holding it in the air to the crowd’s displeasure. In the back, Josh Matthews is standing by with Mr. Kennedy, who cuts a rather good promo about how ECW is his place to shine and this is where he realizes his destiny.ECW Championship: Elijah Burke (c) vs. Mr. KennedyBurke came to the ring before Kennedy, due to Kennedy’s backstage promo moments ago. Burke was heavily booed. Kennedy got his biggest pop since his return from injury earlier this year. Like the Intercontinental Title match, this ECW Title match did not match up to the previous one seen on PPV, but it was still very good. Both men attempted to end this match early, as both went for signature moves right off the bat. After a short feeling out process, Burke took over. He hit a big clothesline and a hip toss. He finished off that short flurry with a vertical suplex that connected right into a belly to back suplex. He was feeling very confident so he began to taunt the crowd, which allowed Kennedy to get a school boy attempt for a near fall. Kennedy got on the offensive at this point by hitting a side slam and ten punches in the corner. Burke fell to the bottom of the turnbuckle and Kennedy responded by face washing him. He picked up Burke and hit a snap DDT for a two count. Kennedy then went for his Mic Check finisher, only to have Burke elbow his way out of it and hit the Elijah Experience out of nowhere. He covered but somehow Kennedy kicked out. Burke dragged him to the corner and went for the Outer Limits Elbow, but Kennedy moved out of the way. Kennedy picked up Burke and hit the Green Bay Plunge, but Burke got his foot on the bottom rope. Kennedy thought he won and began to celebrate. While the referee explained to Kennedy that he hadn’t won, Burke got up, ran and drove both his knees into Kennedy’s back, which sent Kennedy’s face into the second turnbuckle. Burke covered to pick up the win with a sick looking Elijah Express. Winner and Still ECW Champion: Elijah Burke (11:53) ***¼The announcers mention that Kennedy came so close to dethroning the Silver Tongued Pugilist here tonight. They mention that he was one mistake short of becoming the new ECW Champion. We go straight into a build up promo showing the past three weeks’ events between Triple H & MVP. It shows when Triple H turned heel, attacked MVP and Pedigreed Eve onto a steel chair.Triple H vs. Montel Vontavious PorterMVP came to the ring first to a major pop from the crowd; he’s really been over ever since his face turn. The Game was out next and he used his “King of Kings” theme song. He got a mixed reaction, but mostly boos. MVP wasn’t about to wait for Triple H to finish his long entrance and he met him halfway up the ramp and the two began to trade fists. They made it back down to ringside and MVP tossed him into the steel steps. MVP rolled him into the ring and followed suit. He waited for HHH to get up and he delivered a vicious big boot that really got the crowd pumped. He put HHH in the corner and hit him with stiff rights and lefts to his face and mid section. He stepped back and went for the Playa’s Boot, but HHH moved and MVP hit the corner hard. At this point, Triple H began to slow down the pace of the match and really worked over MVP’s neck. This lasted several minutes and he hit his knee smash. As MVP popped up from that, Triple H locked him in a sleeper hold. MVP began to fade, but managed to keep his arm raised after it dropped twice. He fought out of the sleeper hold and tossed Triple H off the ropes, but The Game came back with a flying knee. He picked up MVP and delivered a spinebuster, but only got a two. He then went for the Pedigree, but MVP back body dropped him over. HHH got up and ran at MVP only to get hit with a snap over head belly to belly suplex. MVP followed that with his Ballin’ elbow drop for a two count. He went for the Playmaker, but Triple H spun out of it and went for a short arm clothesline, but MVP ducked that as well and delivered a knee smash very similar to Triple H’s. MVP then connected with the Playmaker and quickly followed that with the Drive By for the shocking victory. Winner: Montel Vontavious Porter (17:59) ****As MVP exited the ring the announcers mention that he has now scored Pay-Per-Views victories over The Undertaker and Triple H recently. They keep saying that he may have now reached the upper echelon of WWE superstardom. Triple H is livid as he begins to get up. The announcers also mention that he turned his back on the fans so he can focus on the WWE Title, but this loss will set him back.
In the back, we see World Champion Randy Orton sitting in his locker room. There is a knock at the door and in comes Legacy. Orton stands up and gets right in their faces. Henning introduces himself and Orton tells him that who he is doesn’t matter and he wants to know why they’re in his locker room. Rhodes and Dibiase say they just want to wish him good luck out there tonight. They both extend their hand and Orton reluctantly shakes. They go to leave but Orton stops them and congratulates Ted Dibiase on his Intercontinental Title victory earlier.Tag Team Street Fight: Jeff Hardy & Shane McMahon vs. Umaga & EdgeEdge makes his way out first and got a rather loud pop as he’s just so damn hard to boo. Umaga got booed on his way out. Shane & Jeff got a huge pop, Jeff’s being the bigger of the two. This was contested under tornado tag rules, meaning all four men in the ring at the same time. That made this a complete mess at the start as Shane just straight up attacked Edge, while Jeff and Umaga did battle in the corner. Somehow, Jeff got the advantage and hit a big dropkick with Umaga seated in the corner. Meanwhile, Shane and Edge spilled to the outside where Edge was now choking Shane with the cables out there. He then tossed Shane into the audience where they brawled for a while. They used everything they could find there as Edge even threw Shane into the popcorn stand. They fought back to the ring after a while, where Umaga was now dominating Jeff. Umaga had taken control just a few minutes ago after Jeff missed a leg drop off of a ladder. Edge instructed Umaga to bring Jeff to the outside. They placed both Shane and Jeff onto the Smackdown announce table. Edge then had Umaga run across the other two tables and splash their opponents, but like John Cena back at the ’07 Rumble, Shane & Jeff moved and Umaga went through the table alone. Edge realized that he was now in a two on one situation and began to run around the ring but he was caught by Jeff with a big clothesline. He rolled Edge into the ring where Shane McMahon had two steel chairs waiting. He handed one to Jeff and when Edge got up they delivered a con-chair-to and Edge collapsed to the ground. Shane placed a chair on Edge’s face, climbed to the top and delivered a diving elbow to the chair. He covered for the win. Winners: Jeff Hardy & Shane McMahon (16:09) ***For the second straight PPV, Edge was left out cold. Only tonight, unlike Backlash, Shane was standing tall. In the back we see Vickie Guerrero who looks mad and worried at the same time. We cut to Vince and Stephanie McMahon in their office. They’re both proud of Shane and they decide to sit back and watch their brand’s WWE Title match.WWE Championship: Kane (c) w/ Paul Bearer vs. John CenaJohn Cena makes his way to the ring first to his usual big pop from the crowd. “Slow Chemical” played as Kane was next out to boos from the capacity crowd. Cena showed that he wasn’t at all intimidated by The Big Red Machine as he went toe to toe with him to start the match. They traded fists and Kane got the better. He got Cena backed into the corner where he hit him with some punches to the mid section and ended it with a big back elbow. Kane worked him over for a while, using a choke lift to wear Cena down and then hitting a big side walk slam. After a few more minutes of him working over Cena, he threw him to the ropes and went for a big boot. Cena ducked the boot and came off the ropes with a shoulder block. Kane got up quickly but Cena came back off the ropes and hit a throwback. He followed that with the Five Knuckle Shuffle but just got a near fall. Cena threw Kane off the ropes and hit his sitout hip toss. He climbed to the top and waited for Kane to start getting up. He jumped off and hit his second rope fameasser for another two count. Cena signaled that it was going to be over and he hoisted Kane up for the FU. Paul Bearer then got on the apron. Cena dropped Kane and grabbed Bearer by the shirt. He pushed him down and knocked him to the ground. Cena turned around and Kane was waiting for him. He grabbed Cena by the throat for a chokeslam but Cena kicked him in the stomach and hit a drop toe hold. He immediately locked in the STFU! Kane was struggling while in the hold, but he eventually managed to reach the ropes. Cena looked flustered and waited for Kane to get up. He set him up for the FU again, but Kane raked him in the eyes and Cena had to put him down. Kane quickly caught him in a Tombstone to put away Cena. Winner and Still WWE Champion: Kane (15:25) ***Kane picks up the fallen Paul Bearer and helps him to the back while the crowd boos that Cena lost here tonight. Jim Ross and Tazz take over as the announce team and we are shown a short video package showcasing The Undertaker and Randy Orton’s recent issues and how they really haven’t gotten their hands on each other.World Heavyweight Championship: Randy Orton (c) vs. The UndertakerRandy Orton came to the ring first. He got a mixed reaction but mostly boos, normally it’s mostly cheers but his opponent tonight is uber popular. Undertaker comes next to a massive pop from the crowd. He and Orton had a great stare down to begin the match and they got into a collar and elbow tie up. ‘Taker overpowered him and shoved him into the corner. Orton attempted to lock up with him again, but again got shoved down. ‘Taker continued to control the early stages of the match, hitting a running DDT, the Old School rope walk and snake eyes. He followed up Snake Eyes with a big boot and Orton rolled to the outside. ‘Taker wasn’t going to let him get away with taking a breather as he nailed his over the top rope suicide dive onto Orton. Orton was in real trouble, but saved himself when he moved out of the way of ‘Taker’s guillotine leg drop on the apron. He maneuvered ‘Taker’s body into a guillotine position on the apron and nailed his sick guillotine DDT onto the floor. He got in the ring and ‘Taker barely made it back, getting in at the referee’s count of nine. Orton stomped on each part of ‘Taker’s body to help wear him down. He then slowly stepped back and was prepared to deliver the punt but ‘Taker moved out of the way and caught him with a chokeslam. He covered but only got a near fall. Orton tripped up ‘Taker and went to his legs. He stomped on ‘Taker’s mid section and went to do it a second time, but ‘Taker reached up and locked him into the Hell’s Gate submission. Orton managed to quickly scurry to the ropes. ‘Taker got up and went to big boot Orton, but he ducked and ‘Taker caught the referee. Orton then hit his over the back neck breaker. He began to stalk ‘Taker for the RKO. As ‘Taker got up and Orton went for it, ‘Taker pushed him off and Orton hit the mat. He got up right into a Tombstone from The Undertaker who covered but then realized that there was no referee. He began to attempt to revive the referee. Suddenly, Chris Jericho ran down and turned ‘Taker around and nailed him with a Codebreaker. He then went outside, got a chair, and began to hit ‘Taker with it a few times. The crowd booed heavily as Jericho soaked it all in. He left the ring. The referee got up, followed by Orton. ‘Taker slowly got to his feet and Orton dropped him with a devastating RKO to end it. Judgment Day was good, Not too sure on how good it is to put Kane over Cena cleanly like that, which would probably be the only small thing i thought should have been done differently. Glad Taker didnt lose cleanly, Jericho/Taker should be good. MVP over Triple H cleanly is interesting too, we'll see where he goes, hopefully into a good, long term feud which will elevate him. Benjamin vs. punk sounded good, wish Kennedy would have won against Burke, but Burke winning is cool. Overall good show.

Not too sold on this six-man tag match making the PPV, but it makes The Brookd look more legit. Glad Beth won, it wouldn't be realistic for Victoria to win the Women's Title at this point. Glad DiBiase won as you know I hated Burchill as champ. KOTR? Should be cool. Shelton winning is always good, hope to see him eventually win the strap. Glad Burke won, that feud was built up well. Figured you would give MVP the win, mixed on that. It helps him, but makes HHH look bad especially after recently turning heel. I actually just noticed that Hardy never got a rematch. Faces winning was fine, especially since it was a tag match. I actually thought that a DQ would have been good in Cena-Kane to set up for a rematch. Glad Orton won, loss didn't hurt Taker either. Good PPV overall.

The opening match was great. The Dreamer, Hardy, & Mysterio reminds me back in 2004. I am loving the graphics, btw. Nice to see the Brood get the win. I like the idea of that stable. Urgh. I would take Victoria over Beth Phoenix any day. Oh Well. It was a great match despite, the ending. Nice triple threat match. I was really hoping Bourne would have won. Ted would be my next choice. I am not dissapointed that Ted won. Please push Ted, though. The next match was a possible MOTN. I didn't care who won, but the ending was pretty bad. Shelton winning by the Crucifix Pin. Another great match. Glad Elijah retained. I enjoyed the match. Please push Elijah to Smackdown or RAW to win the Intercontinental Title or the United States Title. Wow, that was an awesome match. Expeccially since MVP got the victory. I loved the ending, by the way. I didn't even see Jeff Hardy in the graphic. Nice way to hvae Hardy and Shane win the mat ch. The Match was great. I am loving Kane as Champion and him retaining is awesomeness. I feel like this is the old school Kane. Awesome main event. Glad Orton got the win though. I loved Judgement Day. It was full of shocking and awesome events. I love this diary. WWE 08-09 for HOF!

Judgment Day was a solid show, Kev, you already know that I wasn't a big fan of nine matches being on the card but apart from that, everything was fine.
- Opening contest really didn't need to be on the PPV but as Charisma said, makes The Brood more legit. Glad to see the vampire trio pick up the victory.
- Happy to see Beth Phoenix retain the woman's title. I just realized that I put the "o" and the "e" in the wrong order, sorry about that.
- DiBiase winning the IC title was a great choice. Getting the pin over Bourne wasn't great in my opinion as I am a fan of the Lance Storm opinion of the champion should be pinned to lose the title. Let's hope Ted has a nice reign.
- Shelton getting the pin makes sense to make him look legit as a world title contender, the finish was also good in not making Punk look bad.
- MVP getting the clean win over Triple H was a bit surprising. I know MVP is the face but maybe he could of took advantage of an exposed turnbuckle or something to win just to make Triple H look good.
- Kane retaining the title is awesome. I don't have a problem with the clean victory here as it's rare anyone kicks out of the tombstone. I see Cena winning the title at King of the Ring though.
- The Tag Team Street Fight was awesome and had a great ending. Surprised Shane actually went over Edge considering there'd be a third match at KOTR.
- Orton retaining the title is great and I totally called Jericho attacking someone at the pay per view. A Jericho/Taker feud will be fantastic and hopefully allows a new feud for Orton.

- A great opening contest with the Brood winning. Really enjoyed reading that match. - Wished Victoria would have won. - I did not expect Ted to win the belt. I really thought Bourne would have won. I hope Paul isn’t used s a jobber now, though. - Fantastic to see SB go over CM. I hope to see SB win some heavyweight gold sometime. - Burke winning is great. Kennedy should chase for the belt until Summer Slam or so, and get the big win. - MVP beating HHH is indeed shocking. But, I’m all for it. Love that your elevating younger guys. - Good street fight, though I’m mixed on Shane getting the pin. - I slightly though Cena was going to win, but thankfully Kane is still the champ. - Really liked the Orton/Taker match, seemed to get their styles down nicely. Glad that Orton retained. - Good PPV, as usual.

Happy Brood went over, good choice. I was pulling for Victoria, but Beth is a good champion. I am not keen on Ted winning the IC title, but it works. Very good call on Shelton winning, I hope he gets pushed to the moon. Very happy Burke kept the gold, I just couldn’t take Kennedy serious as ECW Champion. Good idea putting MVP over, really established him. I would have like the heels to win, but I can live with Shane and Hardy winning. Very happy Kane retained, I love him as champion. Loved the main event, I am happy you did not put the strap on Taker.

Judgment Day, May 17th 2009...Alright, should be a good show, this. Decent opening contest to kick off the show, seemed pretty good to be honest, for what I think is a filler contest. You are building The Brood V2 up pretty well, I must admit. Don't like what has happened to Matt Hardy though, he could REALLY use his heel turn right here. Beth Phoenix retaining the WWE Womens Championship from Victoria is pretty unique, slightly unsure why you chose to have that, but maybe Victoria's only returned part-time. Decent triple threat match to follow-up, Ted Dibiase winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship is nice to see, about time they picked him up from being The Legacy minion/bitch. Awesome match between CM Punk and Shelton Benjamin. Interesting you chose to have Shelton go over, I like the sound and idea of a push for Shelton. Elijah Burke beating Mr Kennedy to retain the ECW Championship is fine, was never really a fan of Kennedy to be honest. Montel Vontavious Porter going over Triple H cleanly nor dirtily would happen. Triple H is too much of an ego for that. Fairly decent tag team match with Jeff Hardy and Shane McMahon winning, nothing special. Kane beating John Cena is fine, could of really used with this main eventing. Awesome main event though with Randy Orton retaining the World Heavyweight Championship from Undertaker. Decent yet crammed pay-per-view.
