Dark Match: Alberto Del Rio defeated Intercontinental Champion Elijah Burke in a non-title match
Tonight’s Pay-Per-View opens with a video package mainly focusing on the two big Title matches. It shows the very, very long history between WWE Champion Edge and Shane McMahon, as well as the previous interactions between the four Superstars in our World Heavyweight Title Ladder Match.
The cameras now cut to the arena, where the opening pyrotechnics shoot off. We are then welcomed to the show by our play-by-play team of Michael Cole, Jerry “The King” Lawler and Matt Striker. They hype up the card, promising a great night of action before taking us to our opening contest.
| Street Fight: Randy Orton vs. Rey Mysterio |

Rey was first out to the ring, to a huge pop from the WWE Universe as they’re excited to begin tonight’s action. Randy Orton received some huge heat as he walked to the ring. Once the bell rang, Orton was clearly on two missions. The first was to hurt Rey and the second was to pick up a much needed victory. He immediately went after Rey with several European uppercuts in succession, backing him into the corner. Once there, he delivered multiple shoulder thrusts in a row. Orton then sent Rey off the ropes and caught him with a huge powerslam for a near fall. He went to lift Rey up, but was kicked off. Rey quickly got up and dropkicked Orton, forcing him to fall to the outside through the middle rope. Once Orton got up, Rey went for a baseball slide, but transitioned it into a head scissors takedown. The crowd popped big for that and Rey sent Orton into the guardrail hard. He fed off the crowd’s energy and surprised everyone when he grabbed a steel chair. He opened it and leapt off of it onto Orton, but was caught with a huge European uppercut. Orton began to dissect Rey with his signature stomps. He cleared off the announce table and dragged Rey onto it. He went for the RKO, but Rey clubbed him to prevent it. Rey then hit a big enziguri, knocking Orton onto the table. Rey got off the table and onto the apron. He looked back at Orton and then delivered a huge Asai moonsault through the table! Both men were down for about a minute as we were shown several replays. They began to stir and Rey rolled Orton into the ring. It took Rey too long to get on the apron, as once he got there he was met with Orton’s rope hung DDT. He covered but just got a near fall. It was clear that both men were hurt, but Orton was up first and started to stalk Rey for the RKO. He went for it, but Rey pushed him off into the corner. As Orton backed out of the corner, Rey hopped onto his shoulders and did a quick victory roll for the shocking three count.

Winner: Rey Mysterio [14:14] ***½

The crowd went crazy as Rey Mysterio keeps Randy Orton’s losing streak going. It came from out of nowhere, but regardless, Rey is your winner. Speaking of from out of nowhere, Orton clubbed Rey in the back as he was celebrating. He then hit him with an RKO and had a sick look in his face. He stalked Rey like he was his prey and once he got to his knees; Orton delivered a devastating punt kick! He slithered out of the ring as officials rushed down to check on Rey.
We now cut to Ashley Valance, who is standing by with “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus. She asks him about his strategy for his Belfast Brawl tonight with The Undertaker. Sheamus laughs and says that his strategy is simple. He’s going to beat on The Undertaker until he physically can’t walk out of the arena tonight. Tonight is the night that he ends the legend that is The Undertaker. | ECW Championship Extreme Rules: Ezekiel Jackson [c] vs. John Morrison |

John Morrison came down to the ring first, to a chorus of cheers from the WWE Universe. Ezekiel Jackson followed, with the ECW Title on his shoulder to boos. Before he could enter the ring though, Morrison met him with a corkscrew plancha that brought the crowd to their feet! Since this is an Extreme Rules match, the bell rang even though they haven’t entered the ring yet. Morrison made sure to keep Jackson grounded by stomping away at him. He got the steel steps and dropped them right onto Jackson. He tried a quick cover but Jackson kicked out. Morrison now went under the ring and pulled out a trash can full of weapons that he tossed into the ring. He nailed Jackson with the trash can lid before rolling him into the ring. He climbed to the top and leapt off when Jackson got up. Unfortunately, Jackson caught him and nailed an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Jackson looked down at the weapons and things were about to get ugly for the “Shaman of Sexy”. Jackson pulled out a kendo stick and leveled Morrison in the back with it twice, before hitting him once in the head for a near fall. Jackson picked him up and sent him off the ropes, connecting with a huge shoulder block. He continued the beating by hitting three consecutive back breakers, but gained just another near fall. Frustrated, he went to the outside and got a table. He set it up inside the ring, but when he turned back to Morrison he was nailed with the Flying Chuck from out of nowhere for a near fall. He quickly bounced off the ropes and hit the Shining Wizard. Morrison now placed Jackson on the table and called for the Starship Pain. Jackson moved in the nick of time though and Morrison went right through the table. Jackson covered but Morrison somehow kicked out. Jackson lifted Morrison and drilled him with the Book of Ezekiel onto a steel chair to finally get the three.

Winner and Still ECW Champion: Ezekiel Jackson [12:17] ***

The crowd booed heavily as Ezekiel Jackson retains his ECW Championship, but it’s clear that John Morrison is one of the most resilient Superstars on the roster. The cameras now cut away backstage.
We see CM Punk and the Straight Edge Society in the back. Punk gives them a speech, saying that tonight was the most important night in their history. Serena will get them off to a good start by retaining her Women’s Championship and that will segue into him leaving Oakland with the World Heavyweight Title. He promises that tonight the world will realize that being Straight Edge truly makes them better than everyone else.
The commentators make an announcement that another trade has been made between brands. Smackdown sent Alicia Fox to Raw in exchange for William Regal. When JBL traded Paul Burchill to ECW, Regal wanted off of Raw and JBL realized that with Katie Lea gone, Raw needed another Diva, so the trade worked out for both brands.[ | Dog Collar Match: Chris Jericho vs. John Cena |

After Jericho’s brutal assault on Cena last week, this was easily one of the most highly anticipated matches of the night. Cena came down to the ring first, but midway through; he was attacked from behind by Jericho. Jericho hit Cena with big right hands, followed by tossing him into the guardrails. He then tossed him into the steel steps when they got close to the ring. Finally, he rolled him into the ring and instructed the referee to chain them together. The referee did so and now Jericho has a clear advantage. The entire first half of this contest was all Chris Jericho. He would hit a one handed bulldog, German suplex, double underhook back breaker, and even hit the double powerbomb pin he utilized when he first got to the WWE. Things began to turn around when Jericho first attempted the Walls of Jericho. Cena kicked him off right into the corner. He got up but was quickly downed by an enziguri. Jericho stopped Cena’s comeback attempts twice now and the crowd was growing restless. Cena finally turned it around when he reversed Jericho’s attempt to toss him over the top rope. Cena was nearly pulled over with him, but managed to stop the momentum. He went outside and began to level Jericho with right hands with the chain wrapped around his fist. The crowd went nuts as Cena was getting revenge for this past Monday. Cena then choked Jericho with the chain before rolling him back inside the ring. As Jericho got up, Cena hit him with the Throwback, followed by the Five Knuckle Shuffle for a near fall. Cena went outside to a get a chair, dragging Jericho with him. When they get back in the ring though, Jericho tugs on the chain and Cena goes headfirst into the chair and turnbuckle. Jericho rolls him up but Cena manages to get a shoulder up. Jericho now went for the Codebreaker but Cena shoved him straight down to the mat. As Jericho got up, he was met with an FU, but somehow kicked out in the nick of time. Cena now hooked Jericho for a fisherman suplex, but Jericho blocked it and swept Cena’s legs. He tried to lock on the Walls of Jericho, but Cena rolled him into a small package for a two count. Cena kept him on the mat though and locked in the STFU, with the chain placed across Jericho’s eyes! Jericho had no choice but to tap out.

Winner: John Cena [17:51] ***½

John Cena was exhausted, but he managed to pick himself up and celebrate this win with the WWE Universe. They roared with approval as he has gotten revenge on Jericho for his heinous attacks.
A commercial is now shown for next month’s Pay-Per-View extravaganza, the King of the Ring! The Semi-Finals and Finals of the Tournament will be held that night with the winner receiving a World or WWE Title shot at SummerSlam! | WWE World Tag Team Championship Falls Count Anywhere: The Hart Trilogy [c] w/ Natalya Neidhart vs. The Dudebusters w/ Curt Hawkins |

The challengers made their way down the ramp first, to some solid heel heat. The Champions followed to a great hand from the WWE Universe. Baretta and Wilson started and they stole the entire match with their encounters. After two early standoffs, Wilson gained the upper hand and hit the Rolling Stampede, a running dropkick and spinning heel kick. Baretta regained the advantage by connecting with a springboard dropkick and a running high knee in the corner that he calls the Gobstopper. He tagged in Croft, who quickly latched on a headlock. Wilson began to fade, but rallied behind the approval of the WWE Universe. He tagged in Smith, who did battle with Croft for a short while, having the upper hand. Eventually, Wilson was the legal man again, but this time, the Dudebusters really took control. They cut the ring in half and prevented him from tagging Smith back in. Croft hit a DDT and a neck breaker, but it was a timely enziguri that allowed Wilson to make the hot tag to Smith. From this point on, the match became a tornado tag as nobody bothered to follow the rules. The action spilled to the outside, where we saw several near falls take place. Wilson got back in the ring, just to hit his opponents with a suicide dive. He then locked Croft in the Sharpshooter, while Smith hit the running powerslam on Baretta but the pinfall attempt was broken up by Curt Hawkins. Natalya then leveled him with some right hands to the crowd’s delight. Baretta hit Smith with a low blow and then broke up the Sharpshooter by hitting Wilson with a quick DDT. Croft and Baretta then nailed The Dudebuster [inverted atomic drop/running knee combo] onto Smith. Croft covered and got the 1-2-3!

Winners and NEW WWE World Tag Team Champions: The Dudebusters [11:47] ***

The three members of the Dudebusters celebrate with their newly won belts as we have our first Title change of the night. TJ Wilson and Natalya checked on Smith, who was still laid out by the announce table as the crowd booed our new Tag Team Champions.
We now see Shane McMahon walking towards the arena, looking dead serious, very different from his usual jumpy self. The cameras cut to a video package showing the long history between Edge and Shane, which dates back to a Spear Edge delivered to Shane two days before WrestleMania XXV. It shows their series of matches last year, ending with Edge’s brutal set of con-chair-tos at King of the Ring. The final part of the video shows Shane’s return a few weeks back.[ | WWE Championship Steel Cage Match: Edge [c] vs. Shane McMahon |

Shane came down to the ring, getting a very good hand from the sold out crowd here tonight. Edge followed to his usual mixed reaction as he always manages to stay somewhat popular. Once the cage door closes, Shane charges at Edge and hits him with a Lou Thez Press. Shane delivers lefts and rights, pummeling away at Edge. He picks Edge up and tosses him into each of the four sides of the Steel Cage. Shane is fired up and making good on his promise to hurt Edge. He takes Edge and grates his face across the steel, cutting him open. Shane now began to climb the cage, but looked back at Edge and dropped down. He is not nearly satisfied with the punishment he has dished out so far. Unfortunately, once he gets back to Edge, he is pulled forward right into the turnbuckle. It was now Edge’s turn to abuse Shane as he threw him around into the steel. He grated Shane’s face, slingshot him into the steel and even hit a Russian leg sweep into it. Edge sent Shane off the ropes and connected with a big boot. He began to walk towards the door, but Shane was up and leveled him with a flying forearm shot to the back of the head. Mr. McMahon now surprisingly walked down the ramp and Shane pointed at something ringside for him to get. Mr. McMahon reached under the ring and pulled out a kendo stick. He slid it through one of the holes in the cage and Shane quickly grabbed it. Edge charged at him, but Shane nailed him with the stick between the eyes. He climbed to the top as Edge got up and came flying down with the kendo stick, nailing Edge in the head again. Shane now climbed all the way to the top of the cage and stood up. He looked down at Edge’s body, looked at the floor on the outside and pointed at Edge. The crowd roared as he leapt off the top for his trademark Leap of Faith elbow, but Edge moved out of the way. Shane crashed and burned and Edge began to crawl towards the door. Mr. McMahon stood outside the door and shook his head no. He pointed at the top of the cage, telling Edge that if he wants to win, he has to climb. Edge slowly begins to climb to the top and just as he reached the top, Shane was up. He climbed up and reached the top as Edge just climbed over. Shane grabbed Edge by the hair and smashed his face into the cage twice. On the third smash, Edge fell off of the cage and landed hard, back first on the announce table. He rolled off and his feet hit the floor, giving him the victory.

Winner and Still WWE Champion: Edge [19:09] ***½

Shane McMahon gets down from the cage and stands in the ring. Edge’s theme stops playing and the crowd gives Shane a resounding hand. While he didn’t win the belt, he did make good on his promise to hurt Edge tonight and he did gain a measure of revenge. Edge may have won, but he sure doesn’t look like a winner.
We cut to see Jeff Hardy preparing for tonight’s main event. It then cuts to Shelton Benjamin who is watching footage of WrestleMania XXV’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Lastly, we see Christian taping up wrists and pacing back and forth in his locker room. | Women’s Championship Lumberjill Strap Match: Serena Mancini [c] vs. April Lee
|

The beautiful Divas of the WWE, including the ones from Raw, came out first to act as Lumberjills for this contest. April Lee made her way down the aisle first to a big pop. Serena followed and got the best heat she’s ever gotten, most likely due to her alliance with CM Punk. Once the ladies were strapped in, Serena went on the offensive. She pummeled the smaller Lee with clubs to the back. She sent her off the ropes and connected with an arm drag, followed by another deep arm drag. She covered, but Lee kicked out. Serena continued the punishment, holding serve early on in the contest. Lee took control though after hitting a well placed spinning heel kick. She then gave Serena a taste of her own medicine by hitting multiple arm drags, which she followed with a huricanrana. She began to attempt victory by touching the four corners. After reaching the second, Serena stopped her by whipping her in the back with the strap. She did this multiple times and then began to touch the turnbuckles. This time, Lee managed to stop her by knocking her to the outside. The face Divas tossed Serena back into the ring, but Serena quickly knocked Lee outside to the heels, who beat down on her. Serena now tried touching the turnbuckles, but just before she reached the fourth, Lee caught up to her and nailed her with the Shiranui! She slowly got up and hit the first turnbuckle. She dragged Serena and touched the second and third turnbuckles. She got close to the final one, when she was suddenly tripped up by Gail Kim! Kim entered the ring and Lee was shocked at her mentor. Kim grabbed her and drilled her with the Eat Defeat. Serena, who touched each turnbuckle right after Lee, reached over and touched the final one as Lee was laid out.

Winner and Still Women’s Champion: Serena Mancini [8:18] **¼

Serena left up the ramp as the crowd booed heavily, while the face Divas checked on April Lee. Gail Kim stood outside of the ring staring down Lee, who was just getting up. She looked heartbroken and shocked as we cut to the backstage area.
Josh Matthews is standing by with the World Heavyweight Champion, Jeff Hardy. He asks Jeff if he’s nervous going into tonight’s match, where he has just a 25% chance of retaining his belt. Jeff says that he doesn’t believe in things like chance. All he knows is that he worked so hard to get his belt and he doesn’t plan on losing it anytime soon. | Belfast Brawl: Sheamus vs. The Undertaker |

“The Celtic Warrior” was the first man out, to some massive heat. Once the gong was heard, the crowd erupted. Before the bell could even ring, these two powerhouses went face to face. Once the bell rang though, all hell broke loose. They got into a huge fist fight, which The Undertaker came off better in. He backed Sheamus into the corner and delivered some more shots, but to the body this time. He grabbed Sheamus’ arm and went for Old School, but Sheamus shoved him to the outside. The Undertaker hit the floor hard and Sheamus was smiling in the ring. He went out and tossed ‘Taker into the announce table and guardrail. Sheamus then hit ‘Taker with multiple slaps followed by a big spinning back fist. He grabbed a steel chair, but when he turned towards ‘Taker, he was met with a big boot. The Undertaker now did the Old School, while walking on the announce table. He rolled Sheamus halfway back into the ring and went for his guillotine leg drop, but Sheamus moved. He then hit The Undertaker with the Brogue Kick, but somehow only got a near fall. Sheamus then connected with the Irish Curse back breaker and pulled out a shillelagh from under the ring. He swung it at ‘Taker, but he ducked and hit a choke slam. Undertaker now just got the near fall but dragged Sheamus towards the ramp. He picked him up and hit two big back elbows followed by a big sidewalk slam on the ramp for a near fall. Sheamus got back in the driver’s seat when he hit a low blow. He followed that with the War Sword [Polish hammer] and then dragged ‘Taker higher up the ramp. When they reached the entrance Sheamus hit the Celtic Cross onto the steel. But to everyone’s surprise, The Undertaker kicked out! Sheamus was shocked and furious as he could not put the “Deadman” down. He then looked over by the side of the entrance and saw the near twelve foot drop from the stage to an area filled with wires. He turned back towards ‘Taker who was just starting to get up. Sheamus set him up for the Celtic Cross off of the stage, but ‘Taker wriggled out of it. He hit Sheamus with another big boot and did the throat cut signal. He was going to hit the Tombstone, but as he went to pick up Sheamus, he grabbed the shillelagh and used it to hit ‘Taker in the groin. He then leveled ‘Taker in the face with it and ‘Taker was on the edge of the stage. A third and final shot, sent him over and into the wiring, where sparks flew out. Sheamus dropped down and covered The Undertaker for the win.

Winner: Sheamus [20:20] ***¾

The crowd booed louder than they have all night as The Undertaker truly looked defeated. Sheamus raised his arms high in the air as he made the impact he was looking for.
A video package is shown focusing on the feud between the four competitors on tonight’s main event. | World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match: Jeff Hardy [c] vs. Christian vs. CM Punk w/ The Straight Edge Society vs. Shelton Benjamin
|

Christian came down to the ring first to a great ovation from the crowd. Shelton Benjamin was second and got a mixed reaction due to his recent face like tendencies. The Straight Edge Society was next and got possibly the biggest heat of the night. Finally, Jeff Hardy walked out and got possibly the biggest pop of the entire show and as usual, he walked under the ladder. The bell rang and everyone attacked CM Punk. It was clear that he had no friends as they just beat down on him and each man hit him with their finisher before tossing him to the outside. He would be down for a while as the other three men did battle. Jeff brought the first ladder into play when he slid it into the ring. Christian baseball slid it back into Jeff’s face though. Christian then turned right into a belly to belly suplex from Benjamin. Shelton set the ladder up and began to climb, but Jeff pulled him down and hit the Twist of Fate. Christian brought a second ladder into the ring and nailed Jeff with it as he started climbing. He set that ladder up in the corner, but that backfired as he was hit with a Shell Bomb into that very ladder. Shelton then took the ladder and set it up next to the one already in the middle of the ring. He climbed up and was followed by Jeff on the other ladder. They did battle up there until Shelton hit a devastating Paydirt off of it. All three men were now down and Punk rolled back into the ring. He started to climb and got his fingertips on the belt, but Shelton and Christian stopped him. Punk fought them off and managed to send Shelton to the outside, but Christian hit him with a reverse DDT. He started the climb and Jeff climbed on the other side of the same ladder. Shelton springboarded from the ropes onto the ladder next to them and was now closest to the belt. Jeff and Christian kicked away at him until Punk joined the fray. With all four men at the top of the ladder, Christian hit the Unprettier off of it onto Shelton, while Jeff hit Punk with the Twist of Fate off of it. Obviously, Jeff and Christian began to climb, but Drew Gallows and Joey Matthews entered the ring and pulled them down. Matthews smashed Christian’s head into the ladder and tossed him outside, while Gallows hit Jeff with the Gallows Pole. Punk was now up and he started to climb but he was going too slowly. Gallows got under Punk, putting him on his shoulders and he began to climb for Punk. Benjamin tried to intervene but Matthews nailed him with a chair. Christian got by Matthews and nailed Gallows in the back, knocking him down. Unfortunately for Christian, Punk managed to place his feet back on the ladder and he pulled down the World Heavyweight Title.

Winner and NEW World Heavyweight Champion: CM Punk [22:45] ****

The WWE Universe was highly upset that CM Punk is now World Champion again. Benjamin was down, but Jeff and Christian were staring up at Punk celebrating atop the ladder. The cameras catch the looks of upset fans and our final image is Punk holding his Title high in the air.© WWE 2010

-Rey Mysterio's win here is good for him. He's regaining his cred slowly here. -Jackson over Morrison was expected. Though Jackson won here, hope Morrison gets the gold. -John Cena over Chris Jericho is a relief. Considering Cena's not doing well, this could be a sign of things. -I'm glad that the Dudebusters finally won the WWE Tag Team Titles. Some good contenders in the mix too. -Edge retaining his good since Shane is much like a part-time wrestler. Wonder how long his reign can go now. -Mancini over Lee was expected in the Lumberjill Match. I see AJ winning it soon though. -Sheamus over Undertaker rather cleanly is very interesting. Sheamus winning is big for him. -CM Punk winning again is something I've seen once before. Hope something different happens this time around. -Good PPV; wished Christian had won for something different. But still an awesome show.

Del Rio getting the win over Burke, even in a dark match, is quite big for him. Hope it leads to an Intercontinental Championship win eventually. Hot opening contest between Mysterio and Orton for the beginning; not surprised to see Mysterio win, though, with Orton's losing streak as of late. Love the vicious attack afterward. Really pleased you kept the strap on Jackson; I don't think Morrison needs it right now at this point. I'm not that fond of Jericho and Cena going on third in the show, but you do have a lot of big matches so I suppose having one big one this early is fine. Good decision to go through with Cena getting the victory. Fine with The Dudebusters taking away the tag titles; could of maybe waited just until King of the Ring, but I guess we'll just be getting a rematch with the same outcome. Sick ending that kind of reminded me of Stone Cold and Vinnie Mac. Glad you kept the belt on Edge, though, as I can't picture Shane taking away the title. Fine with Serena keeping hold of the championship. I expect Lee to take it after a while, though. Very, very, very big win for Sheamus over The Undertaker. I'm eh on CM Punk getting the championship; it could easily set up a feud between him and Jeff - but I wish he wouldn't of taken it tonight. Especially with Jeff just winning it at Mania. Good show, yes, but some iffy bits for me.

WWE Extreme Rules: Sunday 23rd May 2010...Hm, Alberto Del Rio beating Elijah Burke in a non-title match. I can sense Del Rio taking the WWE Intercontinental Championship relatively quickly. Rey Mysterio beating Randy Orton is fine, a hot opening contest in the Street Fight, but how many times have these two fought? It's sort've difficult in this case, and John Cena vs Chris Jericho's case. They've feuded so many times, it's hard to find unique storylines these days. Interesting ECW Championship defense, obvious that Ezekiel Jackson would win Extreme Rules though, John Morrison has done too much on ECW in the past, he should really be on RAW or SmackDown. He's just replaying stuff now. Love the thought of John Cena in a Dog Collar match, sounded like a brutal match, the right man probably won. Meh, the Dudebusters as WWE Tag Team Champions. Doesn't do too much for me at all. But I guess the Hart Trilogy has had a fine few months. Falls count anywhere rules is a bit weird for stipulations, though. Intense steel cage WWE Championship defense by Edge against Shane McMahon. It was quite a good match. Very predictable Edge would win though. Hope this was Shane's last match. Serena Mancini beating April Lee to retain the WWE Womens Championship. Ah well. Sheamus beating The Undertaker is great, loved the amount of moves Sheamus did to beat 'Taker in Belfast Brawl. Glad to know the feud's ongoing. Make the feud as unique and interesting as possible. Compared to all of 'Taker's other feuds. World Heavyweight Championship ladder main event was the right decision, hot contest. CM Punk winning was the right decision. The other two challengers just don't cut it in my eyes. A packed out show, possibly an upstart after the weak post-WrestleMania XXVI decline.

- Edge still WWE Champion, I would have never thought it, I wanted Shane to become WWE Champion, but maybe Edge will lose his title at the next pay-per-view to whomever he faces, just a thought
- CM Punk World Heavyweight Champion once again, I would have never thought it either, awesome way to end the match, I like it, Straight-Edge World Champion, Punk I can honestly see him being champion for a really long time
- Serena Mancini beating April Lee, I like it, Gail Kim turning heel I love that, maybe this can be the start of a heel push for Gail Kim and she can finally become WWE Women's Champion once again
- Dudebusters becoming WWE Unified Tag Team Champions, I like it
- My man Randy Orton punting Mysterio's head right off after the match, awesome, I love heel Orton, the best, even though Orton lost the match, he won the battle by punting Mysterio in the head and putting him on the shelf I like it. Now everyone will know Orton The Viper he is dangerous and Orton will soon enough become World Heavyweight Champion again, you mark my words!!!!!!!!!! Orton will be the next World Heavyweight Champion!!!!
- My man Ezekiel Jackson beating John Morrison to retain the ECW Championship, I love it, this right here is Domination!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ezekiel please give him a long title reign, please but still John Morrison put up a hell of a fight!!!!!!!!
- John Cena beating Jericho in the Dog Collar Match, makes me think Cena will get a title shot sooner rather than later against Edge for the WWE Championship, I HOPE NOT, Cena has been champion enough times to last me a lifetime!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Sheamus beating The Undertaker in the Belfast Brawl, hopefully this is the start of the Sheamus Era in that Sheamus finally becomes WWE Champion this year in 2010 of your thread, he so deserves a chance to become WWE Champion especially after laying out a legend, The Undertaker basically breaking him in terms of spirit
- Kevin this is strictly me just spouting off my opinions about every match in general and everybody is entitled to their own opinion and I just stated my opinions of everything, now moving on, I have a few questions for you about your story here:
1) When can we expect the debut of Nexus as a stable? If you do decide to bring Nexus in, will you make them a really strong stable?
2) Can we also expect the debut of The Corre Wade Barrett's new group with him, Ezekiel Jackson, Heath Slater, and Justin Gabriel, and will you make them a strong stable?
3) Where is Batista, I haven't seen him since I don't even know which PPV?
Those are my questions for you, and if you can PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTIONS, I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT, SO IF YOU CAN ANSWER ASAP

May 31st, 2010 | Frank Erwin Center [University of Texas] in Austin, Texas
We open with a video showing what went down last week involving John Cena, Chris Jericho and Edge. It then showed the wwe.com announcement saying that Edge will defend the WWE Title at King of the Ring against both Cena and Jericho in a Triple Threat match.
Speaking of the WWE Championship match at the King of the Ring, our Champion comes out to kick off the broadcast. Edge is in street clothes and looks to be in a serious mood. He gets in the ring and begins to speak about what was done on wwe.com this past week. He claims that while it is unfair for him to face both Jericho and Cena, he admits that once again, he’s changed his ways. Ever since his Steel Cage match with Shane McMahon at Extreme Rules, he sees things in a different light. No longer will he complain if he thinks something is unjust in the WWE. From now on he will just go on with his business and do the important thing, which is retaining his WWE Title. He is cut off by the theme of Chris Jericho. The self-proclaimed “best in the world at what he does” gets right in Edge’s face and simply tells him that he’s gone soft. The old Edge and his opportunistic self was the kind of guy Jericho had respect for. Now, he feels that Edge is turning into another John Cena type, which is bad for everyone. He challenges Edge to a match tonight, to show him that his new attitude will only lead to failure. Edge accepts and promises that he’ll win tonight and retain his belt at King of the Ring.
Commercial Break

Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston

Elijah Burke joined the commentator’s table during this contest as he was scouting the man who took his Intercontinental Title, Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler has been on a roll lately, putting on great match after great match and tonight was no different. Mr. Money in the Bank is on a roll himself, which helped this contest out. After some very solid and fast paced action, Ziggler put Kingston down with a rollup and a handful of tights.

Winner: Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler [9:56] ***

Dolph Ziggler is handed his Title and taunts with it in the direction of Elijah Burke. It is clear that things between these two are far from over.
Josh Matthews is backstage with John Cena. He asks him how he feels about his opponents for the King of the Ring facing off in a one on one match tonight. Cena says he’s fine with it, but he feels a little left out. He is actually hurt that they didn’t want to include him in their festivities tonight. He says he’s going to do something about it though and walks off.Commercial BreakMVP is shown entering John “Bradshaw” Layfield’s office to a chorus of cheers. He tells JBL that he still wants his hands on Alberto Del Rio, more than anything. JBL sighs and says that MVP is becoming a thorn in his side with this obsession over Del Rio. JBL claims to admire Del Rio and thinks that MVP is being a nuisance. MVP gets mad at that, so JBL comes up with a compromise. He says that we can get MVP vs. Alberto Del Rio next week on Raw, since Del Rio is in a King of the Ring match tonight.Airbourne Angels vs. The Usos | The tag team division in the WWE is truly heating up now. The Usos and the Airbourne Angels are both new to the tag division but they put on a great match here. The Usos cut the ring in half and worked over the newcomer, Justin Angel, until he made the hot tag to Evan Bourne. Bourne came in on fire, but his streak cooled off after Jules Uso caught his top rope cross body attempt and drilled him with a Samoan Drop. He covered and got the 1-2-3. | Winners: The Usos [7:25] **½ |
The Usos leave up the ramp celebrating as the crowd booed. The Airbourne Angels have hit a snag in just their second match!Commercial BreakWe return to see the Divas Champion Michelle McCool and her new best friend, Layla, talking backstage. McCool says that they’re going to win their first official match together tonight. Layla claims that they are “simply flawless” and that the rest of the Divas locker room is far below them.King of the Ring First Round |

Alberto Del Rio vs. Bryan Danielson

This first time ever match proved to be one of the best in recent memory. It was given a lot of time and solidified Del Rio as an excellent in-ring worker. For Danielson, this was another in his string of fantastic matches since debut in late 2009. Both men worked the arm, which was interesting. Del Rio managed lock in his Cross Armbar, but Danielson somehow reversed it into a Crossface variation. Del Rio reached the ropes though and then attempted a German suplex. Danielson blocked it, rolled forward into a pining combination and got the win!

Winner: Bryan Danielson [13:29] ****

As Danielson leaves up the ramp, Del Rio is very frustrated in the ring. Suddenly, MVP’s theme hits as the former WWE Champion comes down to the ring. Once he enters, Del Rio slides out, and MVP gets a microphone. He says that he doesn’t want to wait until next week. Del Rio shakes his head “no” and MVP gets frustrated. JBL appears on the titantron and says that he wasn’t kidding earlier when he claimed that he was sick and tired of MVP. To come out here and demand a match when JBL granted him one for next week. He has decided to cancel next week’s match. MVP is livid, but JBL says that they will meet one on one at the King of the Ring. Not only that, but it will be a Loser Leaves Raw match! JBL guarantees that he will rid himself of MVP’s whining one way or another./i]
Commercial Break
Mr. Kennedy vs. Sheamus | Both of these guys are part of Raw’s upper mid-card, which is getting pretty loaded at the moment. Mr. Kennedy is really looking to re-establish himself on Raw after his successful ECW run. Sheamus is looking to continue his hot streak since his debut. It turns out that Sheamus would be the one to get what he wanted tonight as he picked up the win following the Brogue Kick. | Winner: Sheamus [6:54] ** |
After the match, Sheamus grabbed a microphone and said that tonight was a preview of what’s going to happen over the next few weeks. He’s going to destroy Kofi Kingston in the second round of the King of the Ring Tournament, and then go on to win the whole Tournament. He promises that whoever holds the WWE Championship by SummerSlam, will wish he was never entered into the Tournament.
Ashley Valance is now standing by with former Divas Champion Maryse. She says that she wants her rematch at the Divas Championship. Mickie James interrupts and claims that she’ll be next in line for a title shot after she beats LayCool in the next match. Maryse slaps her, which then leads to a brawl between two of the top contenders.
Commercial Break
We return to see an advertisement for the upcoming King of the Ring Pay-Per-View, featuring Sheamus, The Miz, Christian, Jack Swagger and Kofi Kingston.
Team LayCool vs. Mickie James & Tiffany | This turned out to be a bit one-sided due to the brawl that James was just involved in. Tiffany had to do the heavy lifting for her team, and while she started good, the two on one disadvantage was too much for her. LayCool put her down in a few minutes when Layla nailed the Lay-Out. | Winners: Team LayCool [4:01] *¼ |
Chris Jericho is shown talking with Alberto Del Rio, before he has to step away and begin walking towards the arena for his main event match!
Commercial Break
Non-Title Match | Chris Jericho vs. WWE Champion Edge | Jericho and Edge showed some great chemistry, despite not wrestling one on one in a long time. Midway through the contest, John Cena walked down to ringside to watch his two opponents for King of the Ring go at it. Near the finish, Jericho went for the Codebreaker, but Edge held onto the top rope. As Jericho began to get up, Edge stalked him for the Spear. He ran for it and connected. He covered but Jericho got his foot on the bottom rope. Edge stalked for it again, but Jericho slid out of the ring. Unfortunately for him, he ran right into Cena, who rolled him back into the ring. Edge met him with a second Spear and picked up the victory. | Winner: WWE Champion Edge [10:19] **¾ |
After the match, Edge celebrated with the WWE Title until Cena entered. Cena offered Edge a handshake, but Edge was reluctant to accept. He accepted, only to deliver a huge Edgecution! Edge has shown tonight that he will not make any friends on his way to the King of the Ring.

- I love that my man Orton is re-asserting himself as The Man here in the WWE, that he is the Apex Predator, the Viper, and that he is dangerous and that he never stopped being dangerous and he will not stop attacking superstars until he is back where he belongs and that is being World Heavyweight Champion on Smackdown. YES ORTON TAKE CHARGE!!!!!!!! It is only a matter of time, it does not matter who the World Champion is, whoever it is, better watch their back because Orton could take them right out with that Punt
- Sheamus being Goldust after being Taker, I love it, finally Sheamus is getting a push, I can't for the life of me figure out how he is not WWE Champion by now in your diary, the man is a main eventer 2-time WWE Champion, and yet he is still a midcarder, at least make Sheamus WWE Champion eventually
- The divas tag match I could care less about, so I'm not even going to get into that
- Yes Alberto del Rio beating MVP, I love it, Del Rio please tell me you are going to make him a main eventer on RAW because he is a main eventer in real life on Smackdown so why not push him to the moon, he is deserving especially after being a former WWE Champion in MVP
- Either way Edge is screwed no matter who he faces at the King of The Ring whether that is Cena, Jericho, and or Kofi, either way Edge will lose the WWE Championship
- Dolph Ziggler winning the Intercontinental Championship, I love it, hopefully Ziggler will get a push in the coming months and he can then make that transition into becoming a main eventer on RAW, beating Elijah Burke, I love their match. Hopefully we can see Burke turn heel again and then Burke can have a push into the main event as well.
- Now I am confused, who is the winner of the main event, both Cena & Jericho co-winners then that means it should be a Triple-Threat Match for the WWE Championship at King of the Ring, so if it is a Triple-Threat Edge's chances of retaining are like 1 in 3, but then there's the issue of Kofi Kingston he could cash in his MITB briefcase at any time anywhere meaning even during the Triple-Threat Match or after it, so either way Edge is screwed
- But other than that, great job on RAW, really great job, great great job I liked RAW, especially when my man Orton was there, THE AGE OF ORTON WILL BE BORN ONCE AGAIN!!!!!!!!
- THIS IS ME STRICTLY STATING MY OPINIONS AND ME JUST STATING PREDICTIONS, YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO AGREE WITH THEM

Orton does what he wants, when he wants, where he wants to do it, and no one can stop him, especially after what he did to Rey, that should be a lesson to anyone who is on Smackdown that whoever is World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk you just made yourself a target for Orton, Orton might just punt your head right off and take back his World Title

WWE RAW: Monday 24th May 2010...Mr Kennedy in the ring first was odd to see, not sure about Kennedy and Carlito opening the show. Orton appearing was random indeed. John Bradshaw Layfield's involvement was decent, liking this where Randy Orton keeps attacking RAW superstars out of clear blue, Orton in a match tonight could be good. I feel that while this was good, should have heard from Shane McMahon or Edge after last night. Sheamus beating Goldust was obvious, hope to see Sheamus win or nearly win the King of the Ring tournament. Just don't give him that obscene "King Celtic Warrior" persona. Decent six-diva tag team acton, the right side won. Wasn't surprised at the low match rating here. Alberto Del Rio beating MVP was nice, weird finish since Del Rio should have been disqualified for the low blow. Edge's promo was decent, interested in the triple threat contenders match tonight. Kofi Kingston looks odd with John Cena and Chris Jericho, I must say. This still should have opened the show with maybe involvement from Cena or Jericho. What I dislike in the RAW tag team scene currently is that there is too many small tag teams that wouldn't get anywhere on RAW. Evan Bourne and Justin Angel beating the Jung Dragons is okay, but this screams 'SmackDown' to me. The RAW crowd would lose interest. I feel if you were going for a title change that it should have been earlier in the show. Dolph Ziggler beating Elijah Burke was obvious and decent after the dark match at Extreme Rules. I hope Ziggler's reign as WWE Intercontinental Champion is original, without Vickie Guerrero. Lastly, odd win for John Cena and Chris Jericho, seemed obvious that Kofi wouldn't win, but he was taken advantage of here. I hope Kofi loses his Money in the Bank opportunity when he cashes in, he hasn't got the right package yet to me. Overall, a solid show but the ordering was a tad off.

- CM Punk and SES just made themselves targets for Orton, because Orton won't stop until he takes back the World Heavyweight Championship, his World Heavyweight Championship, it doesn't matter who has the title if that be CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, Christian, Triple H, doesn't matter, that title is Orton's, and he will not stop until the title is back where it belongs, back home with him holding it
- CM Punk, let this be fair warning, Smackdown you & SES better watch your backs because Orton is The Viper and when he is coiled, he can strike. Didn't Orton Punt CM Punk in the head way back in 2008 at Unforgiven? Because then Punk should know that Orton can punt his head in all over again and make sure CM Punk isn't even holding that title long enough
- But all of my banter aside, where is Triple H, I haven't seen HHH in a very long long time, is he still injured, or is The King of Kings finally going to make his debut on SmackDown

-Orton coming to RAW? Interesting. Wonder if he'll have one of those MVP like losing streaks. -Sheamus over Goldust here was the right call. I see him going far in this. -Del Rio beating MVP was good, but I hope this doesn't take MVP down to lower-mid card status. -I like the idea of Kingston, Cena, and Jericho in the main event. I really hope that Cena can take the gold this time. -Evan Bourne and Justin Angel was the right call. Wonder where the Yung Dragons go from here. -Great match, but I feel this should've been first-hour main event. I love Ziggler as IC Champion. Please give him a very long run as champion. -Wow. An amazing change of things here, looks like a Triple Threat Match to me. -Very innovative show, Kev. Keep it up.

May 25th, 2010 | Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio
We open to a video showing highlights of Ezekiel Jackson’s successful ECW Title defense against John Morrison at Extreme Rules two nights ago.
King of the Ring First Round |

Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre

After a disappointing finish in last night’s Raw main event, Kingston was trying to get back on track and advance in the King of the Ring Tournament. Last year’s Money in the Bank winner, Shelton Benjamin, made it all the way to the semi-finals. McIntyre continued to show off his new mean streak as he attempted to just brutalize Kingston. Mr. Money in the Bank refused to quit though and nabbed the victory following Trouble in Paradise.

Winner: Kofi Kingston [9:03] ***

A graphic is shown, informing us that Kofi Kingston has just advanced to face Sheamus in the Quarterfinals of the King of the Ring Tournament.Commercial BreakWe return and still see Drew McIntyre in the ring, when Bryan Danielson’s theme hits! He comes out and cuts a promo as he walks down the ramp. He reminds us that a few weeks back, McIntyre tried to end his career with a vicious chair shot. Last week, he did get a small measure of revenge by beating him in a Tag Team match, but that’s honestly not enough for him. He worked hard his whole life to get to where he is right now and for McIntyre to try and take his dream away from him makes him angrier than he’s ever been. He tells McIntyre that we’re about to see a different side to Bryan Danielson and he challenges him to an Extreme Rules match next week! McIntyre nods his head yes and then slaps Danielson across the face! Danielson retaliates by tackling him to the ground and pummeling him. Officials rush out to separate them and next week’s match is looking like it will be a war! Commercial BreakThe announcers hype up tonight’s main event, where Television Champion Joe Hennig will team with John Morrison to face Zack Ryder and ECW Champion Ezekiel Jackson! They then inform us that General Manager Theodore Long will have to miss several months due to the injuries sustained at the hands of Wade Barrett last week.Charlie Haas vs. Wade Barrett | Haas gave Barrett his toughest match yet as he utilized his technical skills to his advantage. He worked over Barrett’s legs throughout the match, but Barrett showed why his claims of being the future of the WWE are legit. He strung together an impressive set of moves and won after nailing the Wasteland. | Winner: Wade Barrett [6:11] **½ |
Barrett left up the ramp and the cameras went back to see Haas in the ring, slowly getting up. Suddenly, just like on Raw, Smackdown’s Randy Orton rushes in from the crowd. He waits for Haas to get on all fours and delivers a vicious punt right to his skull! Everyone is in shock and Orton slithers back out of the ring and heads out through the crowd again. Randy Orton has gone completely insane!Commercial BreakWe return to see the stage set up with two couches. A blonde woman with a heavy accent tells us that we’re about to see the Abraham Washington Show and she introduces Abraham Washington. He comes out to the stage in a suit and thanks the woman for the introduction. He calls her Aksana and gives us a rundown of what to expect from the Abraham Washington Show. He claims that it will be the greatest talk show in WWE history and introduces tonight’s guest, The Hurricane. He comes out and sits on a couch. Washington asks him some berating questions and the Hurricane gets upset at this but answers them still. The final straw was when Washington claimed that Hurricane agreed to be a guest on this show because he was afraid to get in the ring with Chris Masters after last week’s Masterlock Challenge. Hurricane gets up and seems to be threatening Washington. Masters sneaks up behind him and once again locks in the Masterlock. Hurricane fights it but eventually falls unconscious. Masters stands over his fallen body as we cut away. Commercial BreakAnother vignette airs for the “Varsity Villain” Alex Riley. He again says that he’ll be taking the ECW roster to school and he plans on doing so when he makes his debut next week!
Ashley Valance is standing by with Kaval and she asks him about facing Jack Swagger this Friday night in a King of the Ring match. Before Kaval can even reply, he is nailed from behind. The attacker is revealed to be ECW newcomer Paul Burchill. He stomps on him several times before backing away after his sister tells him that’s enough.
We now see John Morrison walking towards the arena, when he’s joined by Joe Hennig. Their big tag team main event is coming up next!ECW Champion Ezekiel Jackson & Zack Ryder w/ Courtney vs. Television Champion Joe Hennig & John Morrison | The story of this match was the continued dominance of our ECW Champion, Ezekiel Jackson. He tossed both of his opponents around in the early goings, but the faces managed to turn things around when Ryder tagged himself in. Jackson wasn’t happy with this and he had good reason as it was clear this was going to cost them. It turns out that it truly did when Morrison connected with the Starship Pain on Ryder. Jackson stood on the apron and watched the referee count the three. | Winners: Television Champion Joe Hennig & John Morrison [10:21] **½ |
Morrison and Hennig headed up the ramp celebrating their victory as Ezekiel entered the ring. He helped Zack Ryder up, only to drill him with the Book of Ezekiel. He picked him up for another one, but Morrison rushed back into the ring and hit Jackson. He had him reeling after multiple shots and ended it with a huge clothesline that sent the ECW Champion over the top rope. Morrison celebrated as Jackson angrily grabbed his belt and shouted that this was far from over.© WWE 2010

-Kofi Kingston over Drew McIntyre is good too. I don't see many mid-carders that can stop this kid either. -Barrett over Haas was fine, basically to promote Barrett. I like his slow rise to a push. -A good main event. Morrison looks in line for another shot at the championship. -Solid show; nothing too fancy. Keep it up.

5/26/10 Edition -It's been announced via wwe.com that Edge will defend his WWE Championship against both John Cena and Chris Jericho at the King of the Ring Pay-Per-View! This is due to Jericho and Cena both getting the pin in Monday night's number one contender's Triple Threat match. -Expect a huge push for Wade Barrett on ECW, starting with a possible Television Title run. It is planned for him to be in the ECW Title picture by the end of 2010. -Debuting the Abraham Washington Show on ECW last night was done to introduce him to the WWE Universe. He'll be hosting the talk show for a while, but is a candidate to eventually become ECW General Manager as plans have Theodore Long leaving as ECW GM. -Current plans have Mr. Kennedy turning heel in the coming months to freshen up his act although he'll most likely feud with Dolph Ziggler over the Intercontinental Title first. Cannot believe this diary is still going, it's absolutely fantastic. Kofi advancing in the KOTR is fine by me. Kofi vs. Sheamus should be good. McIntyre/Danielson could be a good match, like that Danielson is being aggressive. Poor Charlie Haas, good for Wade Barrett though. Insane Orton = good Orton. Abraham Washington, Chris Masters, could this get any better? Hope Alex Riley does big things on ECW.
Morrison winning in the main event is good, him vs. Jackson is something I'd love to see in reality so I'm glad it's happening here. Also, that KOTR poster is amazing.

ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 25th May 2010...Hot opening contest to kick off the show with Kofi Kingston rightfully beating the newcomer Drew McIntyre. It's still too soon for him I think. Maybe McIntyre will be right for the ECW Championship after SummerSlam. Bryan Danielson's promo was alright, looking forward to this Extreme Rules match. It'll be righteous if McIntyre wins, really. He needs it, Danielson's been around longer and will knock McIntyre off the road. Wade Barrett beating Charlie aas was obvious, really. Meh, Aksana's arrival on the Abraham Washington Show. Can't recall, has he been around before this? Chrs Masters and The Hurricane in the Masterlock Challenge could be fun I guess. Decent main event with Joe Hennig and John Morrison beating Ezekiel Jackson and Zack Ryder. An alright episode, better than content in previous weeks.
