WWE RAW: Monday 19th October 2009...Good idea to go through with the Umaga Tribute Show, very touching call to make. I liked the sensitivity of the opening promo, with all of the WWE roster on the rampway, very honorable decision. Only thing to complain about here if Lillian Garcia doing this, when I think it'd be more fitting if Vince McMahon or even Justin Roberts did that. Maria's vignette for Umaga was accurate. Nice midcard match to open up the show, with Kaval and Elijah Burke overcoming Evan Bourne and R-Truth, was decent, and there wasn't so much action, which is respect for Umaga, too. Mickie James winning the battle royal is fine, as she is WWE Womens Champion. No worries. Triple H's segment was nice, but he probably has had better WrestleMania matches, personally. But it seems like something he'd say. Ted Dibiase beating Big Show sneakily was the right decision. Jeff Hardy's segment was pretty good. CM Punk and Mr Kennedy's match with Edge and Matt Hardy was good, nice win for the World Heavyweight Champion and the ECW Champion. I wonder if ECW, Superstars and SmackDown will be dedicated to Umaga, too. I agree with John Cena against Umaga from Royal Rumble 2007 being Umaga's greatest match. John Cena's promo was great, but I don't think he should've gone as far as crying. He seems stronger than that. Second City Saints beating British Alliance is okay, but wouln't be the highlight of the night. Lastly, fair main event between WWE Champion, Montel Vontavious Porter and Kane; MVP winning was best. Good show overall, very respectable.

Raw- Very nice way to to open up the show. Shows alot of respect. Good opener, smart to leave Kavel and Evan out of the ending, it makes them both look strong going into Sunday. I like all of the video packages, and the comments from the Superstars. I think Maria had the best one out of all of them. Mickie winning the battle royal was fine. Must be odd for the Superstar you are facing to pass, so Big Show on the card was smart, I just would have gave him the win there over Ted. Jeff Hardy did have some really good matches with Umaga, glad to see him get some time. Good to see The champions pick up the win. Maybe give Hardy and Edge the win next to even the score, making everyone looking strong into Sunday. John Cena might have had the best match with Umaga, crying was a little nice touch. Good win for the saints. Nice main event, glad to see MVP pick up the win. Good way to end the show with the tribute.
Very good job. You had a amazing tribute show, but still kept feuds going.

ECW 10/20/09 Preview-Last week on ECW, Mr. Kennedy regained the ECW Championship that he fought so hard for this year when he defeated Kevin Thorn. He already has his first Title defense set. In six days, at Cyber Sunday, he will take on Kevin Thorn and Matt Hardy in a Triple Threat match. Tonight though, both of his challengers will be in solo action. Matt Hardy is set to go one on one with Rey Mysterio and one has to believe that this will be a great contest. -As we said, Kevin Thorn will also be in action, when he goes one on one with his former Brood minion, Tyler Black. These two have met in singles action just once before, at No Mercy, and Black was so close to dethroning him for the ECW Championship. Some timely interference kept the belt wrapped around the waist of our resident "Fanged Freak." Black wants a measure of revenge and he hopes to get it, tonight! -Eight days ago, Perfectly Awesome shocked the world when they stole the World Tag Team Titles right from under the Second City Saints' noses. Last week on ECW, they were challenged by Finlay and his nephew, Sheamus O'Shaunessy. Theodore Long has granted the match and Perfectly Awesome must defend their Titles tonight. Also, Long says that he has an announcement to make for the winners of this match. What will it be? Only time will tell. Tune into the Sci-Fi Network tonight at 9:00PM to see all of this and more!

Nicely done on the tribute show Kev. I think everybody else about summed it up about why it was good. Since this isn't much of a reply, I'll be sure to give you one in full for ECW.

October 20th, 2009 U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio Attendance: 16,417
The ECW opening video kicked off by showing Mr. Kennedy defeat Kevin Thorn to win back the ECW Championship that he lost back at SummerSlam. After the opening fireworks display, Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us to another big edition of ECW. They remind us that we will witness a huge show tonight as the World Tag Team Titles will be on the line in our main event. Plus, the two superstars who will challenge Mr. Kennedy for the ECW Championship at Cyber Sunday will be in singles action tonight as well. The theme of our new ECW Champion hits as Mr. Kennedy makes his way to the ring to a great ovation from the crowd. He gets on the microphone and says that it feels great to be back on top of the Land of Extreme. He talks about his first title defense being this Sunday and how the fans can vote for Parking Lot Brawl, Extreme Rules or Tables Match. Kennedy tells the fans that it doesn’t matter what they vote on because he promises to keep his newly regained ECW Championship under all circumstances. He says that he knows the crowd grew tired of seeing Kevin Thorn as ECW Champion and they hate seeing Matt Hardy whine all the time. He ends the promo by informing us that after Sunday’s Pay-Per-View, your ECW Champion will still be “Mr. Kennnnnedyy…Kennedy.” Commercial Break. We return to see Theodore Long in his office. The Hurricane swoops into his office. Just like last week, Hurricane says he wants to defend his Television Championship against all evil-doers. Long again says that’s fine, so Hurricane asks why he isn’t defending it tonight. Long says that tonight’s show is all booked up, but next week, right here on ECW, he will go one on one with the Puerto Rican Nightmare, Eric Escobar.Singles Match Matt Hardy vs. Rey MysterioWith this match involving two of ECW’s top Superstars, it was as good as expected. They went back and forth early on, until Matt used a timely low blow to take control. He then continued to be in command and got a few near falls. He went for the Twist of Fate but Rey spun out and hit a hurricanrana, sending him onto the second rope. Rey ran and hit the 619, then climbed and hit the West Coast Pop, but Matt reversed it into a pin of his own and grabbed the ropes for leverage for the win. Winner: Matt Hardy (9:16) ***¼Matt celebrated his tainted win up the ramp and kept motioning for the ECW Championship to come back around his waist.Commercial Break.Angela Fong is backstage, standing by with the “All-American American” Jack Swagger. She asks Swagger about his claim last week that he’s coming for the ECW Championship after Cyber Sunday. Swagger says that her ears do not deceive her because he will in fact be next in line for the ECW Title after this Sunday. He doesn’t care who wins because none of them can match his pure ability and skill. He reminds us that he’s a prodigy and once he gets his first crack at the ECW Title, he won’t need anymore because it’s his destiny to be Champion.Singles Match Kevin Thorn w/ The Brood vs. Tyler BlackMuch like their match at No Mercy, this was pretty good. Black was a step ahead throughout and it continually frustrated Thorn. Just like Matt Hardy in the previous match, a timely underhanded tactic led to Thorn taking control as Vansen tripped up Black. Thorn attempted to go for the Original Sin, but Black blocked it and fired back at Thorn. He would go on to hit God’s Last Gift but before he could get the pin, The Brood interfered, causing the DQ. Winner by Disqualification: Tyler Black (8:21) **¾The Brood continued the attack until the Hurricane appeared and skied off the top rope, taking them out with a flying cross body. That caused the Brood to retreat up the ramp.Commercial Break. We return to see Matt Striker and Todd Grisham and they run down the card for Cyber Sunday, hyping it up by reminding the WWE Universe that they make the decisions for the General Managers.
Now we see the World Tag Team Champions, Perfectly Awesome, walking towards the arena. They defend their belts in the main event, next!Commercial Break.
World Tag Team Championship Perfectly Awesome (c) w/ Alicia Fox & Miranda Rodriguez vs. Finlay & Sheamus O’Shaunessy w/ Hornswoggle This turned out to be a very good main event, as these four just seemed to work well together. Perfectly Awesome was in the driver’s seat for the most part as they cut the ring in half and worked on Finlay. Finlay managed to make the tag to his bigger nephew, who came in and dominated. The two Divas at ringside tried to cheat but Hornswoggle stopped them and chased them up the ramp and to the back. Sheamus had Miz set up for the Chokeslam Bomb, but Ziggler snuck in and nailed him in the back of the head with the Tag Title. The referee was distracted by Hornswoggle chasing the Divas. Sheamus didn’t go down so Ziggler hit him with the Zig Zag and Miz covered for the three. Winners and Still World Tag Team Champions: Perfectly Awesome (10:15) ***The Champions celebrated their win as the crowd booed heavily, when Theodore Long’s theme music hit. The ECW General Manager reminded Perfectly Awesome that he has an announcement concerning the World Tag Team Titles. He tells them that they will be defending it at Cyber Sunday, but it won’t be against a normal team. They will defend it against the two men who lose out on the voting for the WWE Championship match. So it could be Perfectly Awesome against John Cena & Ted Dibiase, Triple H & Cena or Triple H & Dibiase. Perfectly Awesome look upset at this as the show closes.© WWE 2009

Alright opening promo from Kennedy... Kennedy. Matt's win over Rey was a good way for the ending. Hope Swagger gets the ECW Title. Decent rematch with Thorn-Black, like The Brood interfering in it. Alright way to end the main event, and pretty big decision there after the match.

ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 20th October 2009...Alright, it's okay that Umaga isn't getting the Tribute Show on ECW as well, as RAW was dedicated to him. I just feel he should have at least had a graphic placed before the opening video package reminding him of his death, rather than just really being forgotten about here. Good opening promo to get things started, with Mr Kennedy coming out. I think that he'd have mentioned Umaga, as they were friends I do believe. I really hope his reign doesn't last too long, though. Hopefully Matt Hardy wins, and wins the poll going into Cyber Sunday. Good opening contest with Matt Hardy and Rey Mysterio going head-to-head, would be a pretty solid bout to open up, and good decision to have Hardy win. I'd love him to regain the ECW Championship. Kennedy doesn't appeal to me as a long term champion, really. He's a great wrestler, but there is next to nothing left for him on ECW. In the Draft, or a Trade even, I hope for him to be moved to RAW or SmackDown. SmackDown would be cosy for him, I know that. Jack Swagger should break the main event ceiling and become ECW Champion in 2010, in my mind. Or by 2010 anyway. I wouldn't mind a Swagger and Kennedy feud, I could see it working great. Tyler Black defeating Kevin Thorn is fine, disqualification finish or no disqualification finish. Thorn and The Brood destroying Black only makes them look stronger against the alone Tyler Black. Not too sure about the World Tag Team Championships match main eventing, personally. Dolph Ziggler and The Miz are a solid tag team, but they've barely had a long reign with the belts, and haven't really gotten over to main event, not even of ECW. Finlay and Sheamus trying to win was nice though. I wasn't fond of the champs having Alicia Fox AND Mirando Rodriguez at ringside, hopefully you just drop one. Great idea with the World Tag Team Championships match at Cyber Sunday too, if Miz and Ziggler defeated Triple H and John Cena and Ted Dibiase, in any combination, they'd look madly dominant. Cheap win or not. I'd be pleased. But right now, could be you just going for an uneasy allied champions storyline. I hope that's not the road you're going to go down.

- A typical baby face promo by Mr. Kennedy. Nothing really special there. - Good win for Matt Hardy. Doesn’t hurt Rey either, so it works. - Solid heel promo by Swagger. I can see him being the guy to beat Kennedy. - Really wish that Thorn would have won the match against Black. If Kennedy wins, I see Thorn taking the pin. - Decent main event, and I really love the Miz/Ziggler combo. I hope they retain the belts at Cyber Sunday as that would be a huge win for them.

10/21/09 Edition-World Wrestling Entertainment has released the following superstars. Miranda Rodriguez [Milena Roucka], Eve Torres, Tiffany, Gavin Spears, Candice Michelle, Jillian Hall & Mark Henry. The WWE wishes them all the best in their future endeavors. -The reason for today's cuts are rumored to be that the WWE plans on bringing up more FCW talent. Smackdown 10/23/09 Preview-In just two days, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk will defend his belt against the "Rated R Superstar" Edge for the second straight Pay-Per-View. The fans will get to choose between a TLC, Steel Cage or 2 out of 3 Falls match. Co-General Manager Stephanie McMahon will not be at Smackdown tonight, so the entire show will be run by Vickie Guerrero. She has promised to make life hell for CM Punk tonight. What will she have in store for the "Straight Edge Superstar"? -Big Show picked up the pinfall victory in last week's enormous ten man tag so as a reward, he will be getting a United States Title shot tonight. The "Shaman of Sexy" and current Champion John Morrison will have his hands full with quite possibly his toughest title defense yet. Can Morrison pull out the victory and keep the gold? Or will Show continue on his red hot streak as of late? -Mr. Money in the Bank Shelton Benjamin is upset and for good reason. He is upset that he's not on the card for Cyber Sunday, even though he just defeated The Undertaker in a Casket Match three weeks ago. He has hinted though that he just may cash in his guaranteed title shot this Sunday. Before he gets to do that though, he must square off against a man who gave him fits back when they were on ECW, Kofi Kingston. Can Kingston rack up a huge victory? Or will the "Gold Standard" prove to be too much for the "Jamaican Sensation"? Find out your answers and so much more by tuning into MyNetwork TV tonight at 8:00PM!

October 23rd, 2009 U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio Attendance: 16,417
This week’s Smackdown opens with a video package showing the ten man tag main event from last week and the faceoff between CM Punk and Edge.Jim Ross and Tazz welcome us to the sold out U.S. Bank Arena and another edition of Smackdown. They hype up that we are just two days away from Cyber Sunday. They also say that Stephanie McMahon could be in the arena tonight for personal reasons, so Vickie Guerrero is running things tonight.Speaking of Vickie, she’s in the ring as the show kicks off. She informs us that with Stephanie McMahon away, she’s in total control of Smackdown tonight. With that power, she’s decided to make a huge main event. The WWE Tag Team Champions, The New Hart Foundation will be in action as they take on Jeff Hardy and World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk in a non-title match. She says that this will serve as a good warm-up for CM Punk before his match with Edge this Sunday. This brings out Jeff Hardy. Vickie tells him that she wanted to speak with him anyway and let him know that he’s in the main event tonight as a warm-up for his match with Chris Jericho. Jeff says that he doesn’t mind wrestling two days before his big match and he’s sure CM Punk doesn’t mind it either, but he does want to know what Edge & Chris Jericho’s warm-up matches are tonight. Vickie says that she has given Edge and Jericho the night off because they are the hardest working guys on the Smackdown roster. She then scolds Jeff for complaining and announces that their match tonight will be held under no disqualification rules. Commercial Break.
United States Championship John Morrison (c) vs. Big ShowShow seems like a man without a purpose as his feud with Umaga can’t continue now. This clash of styles didn’t make for a bad match, but it wasn’t anything special. Show dominated throughout, while Morrison only showed a few signs of being able to come through with the victory. Show seemed poise to gain the victory as he set up for the Show Stopper, but Chris Masters ran from the back and attacked him. Winner by disqualification: Big Show (7:54) **¼Masters tried to continue the beating, but Show was too much for him once he started fighting back and ended up hitting him with the Show Stopper.
We now go to the back, where Divas Champion Gail Kim is being interviewed by Josh Matthews. He asks Gail about her tough Fatal Four Way title defense in two days. Kim says that she’s always thrived as a fighting Champion and she will do the same this Sunday, but she’s thinking about tonight right now. She hopes that Natalya and Maryse tear each other apart, because both she and Michelle McCool hate those two divas.Commercial Break.
Divas Match Maryse vs. Natalya NeidhartThe crowd was split about 60/40 in favor of Natlaya but they really weren’t sure who to cheer for considering both women are heels. Natalya carried the majority of the match, being the better worker, but in the end, Maryse had her set for the French Kiss DDT only to have Natalya reverse it into a Northern Lights Suplex for the win. Winner: Natalya Neidhart (5:11) **We cut to the back, where CM Punk is showing taping up his fists in preparation for tonight’s main event. Jeff Hardy enters his locker room and they begin to talk about teaming up and what their plan is. Jeff reminds Punk that even though they are partners tonight, he does want his rightful shot at the World Title. Punk says he’d love to give him that opportunity but they must focus on tonight.Commercial Break.Shelton Benjamin makes his way to the ring and gets on the microphone. He reminds us all that he is the man who put The Undertaker in a Casket and defeated him in his own specialty match. He didn’t fear The Undertaker and he doesn’t fear anybody. Yet he is upset because even after racking up the biggest win of his career at No Mercy he’s left off the card for Cyber Sunday. As usual though, he gives us the swift reminder that he is the current holder of the Money in the Bank briefcase and he just may have to thrust himself into the Cyber Sunday card.Singles Match Kofi Kingston vs. Shelton BenjaminAs one would expect, these two put on a very athletic, tightly contested match. They went back and forth with each hitting signature spots until Benjamin got aggressive. He hit the Shell Bomb and a sick looking release German suplex but just got near falls. Kofi fought back valiantly, but was put away by a well timed Paydirt. Winner: Shelton Benjamin (9:24) ***We cut to the back where we see Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins arguing about something. Ryder is blaming Hawkins for the loss in the ten man tag last week. Hawkins tells him that he’s tired of being blamed for everything, but Ryder tells him that he’s always held him back and maybe it’s time for Ryder to shine on his own. He walks away leaving Hawkins looking confused.Commercial Break. We get a quick rundown of the Cyber Sunday card before they hype up that three teams can challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships and we’re going to see those three in action now.Triple Threat Tag Team Match The Colons vs. Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. The Technicians w/ Kelly KellyDespite being a Triple Threat tag match, this wasn’t given very much time as the main event was going to be pretty long. Each team got a decent amount of offense in and it was a solid match, but in the end London & Kendrick picked up the victory. It took a Sliced Bread No. 2 and a standing Shooting Star Press on Primo to attain it. Winners: Paul London & Brian Kendrick (7:27) **½The New Hart Foundation is shown watching on a monitor in the back, before they get up and head towards the arena for the main event.Commercial Break.
Non-Title Tag Team Match World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk & Jeff Hardy vs. WWE Tag Team Champions The New Hart FoundationThese four superstars stole the show tonight and put on a fantastic main event. They went back and forth in the early stages, but then the Foundation took control. They cut the ring in half and worked over Hardy. They used double team moves and kept stopping him from making the tag. They even nailed the springboard Hart Attack, but Hardy got a foot on the bottom rope. He eventually made the tag and Punk came in on fire. He hit some of his signature spots and hoisted up Wilson for the Go 2 Sleep. Smith ran and nailed him with a big boot. Wilson covered but got a near fall. He tagged in Smith, who after going at it with Punk, was hit with the GTS to end it. Winners: World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk & Jeff Hardy (13:59) ***¾The winners’ celebration was cut very short as Edge and Chris Jericho ran down and began to beat on their Cyber Sunday opponents. Jericho locked Hardy in the Walls of Jericho and wouldn’t let go. Edge continually beat on Punk with a steel chair and just had a sadistic look on his face. © WWE 2009

WWE SmackDown 10.23.09
-Glad you had the opening segment. Showing Vickie's heel side and also at the same time proving a purpose.
-I see some matches that you do like Big Show vs. John Morrison. I just want to say, the way you type the matches makes it look a lot better than on paper and that's what makes you my favorite sims board writer here.
-Every day that I come on the sims board, I always see if you have RAW, SmackDown, ECW, or the PPV up. And for good reason. You always put on a great writing show. Glad you're pushing Natalya
-Great promos for Jeff Hardy, CM Punk and Shelton Benjamin you make them all have great mic skills.
-You know, I look at where you have Benjamin, and I look at WWE has him. You do alot better
-I read you where going to give Zack Ryder a nice push. But please, give "The Hawk" Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins a nice little push as well.
-Good match for Paul London and Brian Kendrick. Really gives them the momentum going into Cyber Sunday
-And finally, phenomenal main event. He really showed that The Hart Dynasty can hang with the big boys. I remember reading your SmackDown where TJ Wilson went against CM Punk for the WHC. And to see him know still going at it, shows that you still maintained his feud.
Cannot wait until Bragging Rights!!!!!!!!!!

Loved the Vickie segment, puts her over as a heel well. I like Big Show winning by DQ, I'm glad he didn't pick up the title. Natalya winning makes sense. The idea of Benjamin being annoyed he's left off the card and essentially threatening to inject himself into the show is awesome. Benjamin over Kofi makes sense. I love triple threat tag title matches, glad that Londrick got the win. Would have preferred CM Punk and Jeff Hardy to lose, but whatever.
Looking forward to Cyber Sunday.

WWE SmackDown: Friday 23rd October 2009...Nice opening promo to kick off the show, Vickie Guerrero coming out and controlling SmackDown tonight. Fine by me, and it looks to be a good main event for SmackDown, a perfect chance to show the New Hart Foundation's overness against CM Punk and Jeff Hardy. Chris Jericho and Edge having warm up matches sounds good, also. Oughta be decent. Awkward match to kick off the show though, with Big Show beating John Morrison by disqualification. I am not a fan of Chris Masters and Big Show's rivalry continuing, as Umaga died and was Master's ally. It would have been cancelled and forgotten about if there was a storyline about this. Bad decision really, although this gets the WWE United States Champion over as being cocky. Natalya beating Maryse is okay, no problem there. But both are heels, so it was very bizarre. Shelton Benjamin's brief promo was good, sets the scene for his match with Kofi Kingston. Would have been a great match, but Shelton coming out on top was needed much more than Kofi. Predictable win for Paul London and Brian Kendrick against Primo and Carlito and Charlie Haas and Jamie Noble. No problem, shame it was rushed. I sincerely hope that London and Kendrick don't get the WWE Tag Team Championships from TJ Wilson and David Hart Smith so easily, though. If anything, stretch it out to Armageddon in December. Because you're pushing London and Kendrick too hard too quickly after reteaming. CM Punk and Jeff Hardy beating the New Hart Foundation is great, a solid main event, and sets tension up for Cyber Sunday, but since the WWE Tag Team Champions lost here...hopefully they win at Cyber Sunday. Good show as per usual.

“Step Up” by Maylene and the Sons of Disaster plays as a video package opens tonight’s Pay-Per-View. We see clips of the recent events surrounding CM Punk, Edge and the World Heavyweight Championship. Then it shows WWE Champion MVP and his three possible challengers, Ted Dibiase Jr., Triple H and John Cena. That’s followed by random clips hyping up the rest of tonight’s card.
A big fireworks display goes off and shots of the crowd are shown before we go to the announce teams. Instead of all three brands having an announce team, each show has one announcer representing the brand. Tonight’s announcers are Jim Ross, Jerry “The King” Lawler and Matt Striker. They welcome us to the show and hype up tonight’s huge card, before we go to our opening contest.Intercontinental Championship: Kaval (c) vs. Evan BourneBefore the Superstars come to the ring, we are taken to a graphic showing that the fans have voted and this match will be a Strap match, beating out the Title on a Pole and No Disqualification stipulations. Evan Bourne walks out first to a nice pop from the crowd, while Kaval follows to some very good heat. The strap was tied to each man’s wrist, bounding them together for the entire match. Once the bell rang, Kaval yanked hard and Bourne was forced to fly forward and crash on the mat. Kaval connected with stomps to the head. He lifted Bourne and tossed him into the corner, followed by some shoulder thrusts. He ran in and delivered a stiff knee to the face for a near fall. Kaval the tossed Bourne over the top rope to the outside, but thanks to being tied together, he nearly pulled Bourne’s arm out of its socket. Kaval worked Bourne’s arm for the next few minutes. Kaval set up for his Fisherman Driver, but Bourne blocked it and locked him into a small package for a near fall. Bourne took control after that, hitting a spin kick, hurricanrana and ending it with a standing moonsault, yet just got another near fall. Kaval rolled to the outside and tugged on the strap, trying to pull Bourne to the outside, but Bourne came flying at him with a suicide dive instead. They fought back into the ring, where Bourne hit a few nice moves. He then called for the Air Bourne, but realized as he climbed that the strap is not long enough for him to reach the top rope. As he struggled to figure out a new plan, Kaval yanked on the strap and brought Bourne down to the ground hard. He also realized that he couldn’t hit the Warrior’s Way off the top due to the strap’s length so he took Bourne to the top with him. He seemed to be setting up for a top rope Fisherman Driver, but Bourne fought it off. He got into a position so he could hit a superplex, but Kaval head butted him and chopped him, causing him to fall back. Bourne’s feet were wrapped around the turnbuckle so he fell into tree of woe position. He raised himself up some, but Kaval leapt off the top and hit him with a brutal Warrior’s Way, sending them both crashing down. He covered for the three. Winner and Still Intercontinental Champion: Kaval (13:26) ***½Kaval left up the ramp celebrating with his Championship as Evan Bourne was in a lot of pain in the ring. We now cut to the back where we see Angela Fong standing by with Batista. She asks Batista which stipulation he wants chosen for his match tonight. Batista says that it doesn’t matter because he’s going to crush Kane no matter what. He has revenge on his mind after No Mercy.Divas Championship: Gail Kim (c) vs. Maryse vs. Michelle McCool vs. Natalya NeidhartThe stipulation graphic comes up on the screen and informs us that the Bra and Panties match stipulation has beaten out Falls Count Anywhere and Lumberjill. Maryse came to the ring first to a chorus of boos, as did Natalya. The first ever Divas Champion, Michelle McCool, was next to a very nice pop from the crowd. The Champion followed next, to the best reaction of the match. With this being a Bra & Panties match, the actual in ring work wasn’t very good. They pretty much brawled early on, heels against faces. Kim and McCool worked together, Irish whipping the heels into each other. The first article of clothing came off when Natalya nailed a belly-to-belly suplex on Kim and took her top off. She went for the bottoms, but Kim kicked her away. On the other side, McCool got Maryse’s top off as well. Shortly after that, Natalya connected with her sitout powerbomb on McCool. She was knocked out so Natalya just got rid of her top & bottoms and McCool was eliminated. Kim and Natalya each got an article of clothing off each other, Natalya’s bottom & Kim’s top. The playing field was level as each woman had one piece of clothing left to take off. They went back and forth until Natalya missed her spinning clothesline on Kim, who then caught her with the Eat Defeat. She then took off Natalya’s top revealing her pink bra. Maryse now snuck in and delivered the French Kiss DDT. She removed Kim’s bottoms and we now have a new Divas Champion. Winner and NEW Divas Champion: Maryse (8:16) **Maryse celebrated with her newly won title, in her red bra, as the crowd booed. She left up the ramp as conceited as ever. The cameras go to the back where as usual, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk is seen watching a match on a monitor. He’s watching the TLC match between Edge & John Cena from Unforgiven 2006.
Now, we see a commercial for the upcoming Survivor Series Pay-Per-View. The commercial centers on Shelton Benjamin, surprisingly.
We go to the graphic showing who won the votes for the shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships. The results are in and London & Kendrick win by an enormous margin.WWE Tag Team Championship: The New Hart Foundation (c) vs. Paul London & Brian KendrickLondon and Kendrick came to the ring first to a very big pop from the crowd. The longest reigning Champions in the WWE currently, followed to some very good heat. As expected, this was an awesome tag team contest. Wilson and London began the match and that was a treat for the entire crowd. They had two standoffs and produced some lightning quick in ring action. After a third standoff occurred, Wilson got frustrated and hit a quick spinning heel kick. That allowed Wilson to take control as the Champs began to use frequent tags. They cut the ring in half and really worked over London. Smith would hit him with a German suplex & a belly-to-belly suplex. Wilson connected with the Rolling Stampede and a slingshot leg drop but they only got near falls. They called for the springboard Hart Attack, but London blocked it by hitting Smith with a DDT. He then super kicked Wilson off the apron and hit Smith with a dropsault. Smith rolled to the outside with Wilson. London tagged Kendrick and they hit Wilson & Smith with dual suicide dives. The crowd was solidly behind the challengers as Kendrick rolled Smith in the ring and covered for a near fall. Kendrick would hit him with a tornado DDT and a knee smash before tossing him into the corner. Once there, Kendrick connected with the Sliced Bread No. 2 but Wilson broke up the count. Kendrick went to lift Smith, but got caught with a Saito suplex. Smith tagged back in Wilson, who locked Kendrick in a Sharpshooter. Kendrick looked close to tapping but he eventually reached the ropes. Wilson hit him with a neck breaker and went to the apron for his springboard elbow drop, but London pulled him down before he could hit the move. They began to brawl on the apron until Kendrick leapt from the ring, over the top rope and caught Wilson with a hurricanrana to the outside. It was a great spot that the crowd ate up. They got back into the ring and Kendrick covered, but Wilson got his foot on the ropes. Kendrick went to lift him but Wilson broke free and hit him with a reverse DDT. He tagged in Smith and they connected with the springboard Hart Attack. Wilson knocked London off the apron and Smith got the three. Winners and Still WWE Tag Team Champions: The New Hart Foundation (13:51) ***¾The announcers put over the fact that we’ve just witnessed another successful title defense from The New Hart Foundation, who have put together one of the best Tag Team Title reigns of all time. They celebrated with their belts as they left up the ramp.
We are now taken to a short video highlighting the feud between Chris Jericho and Jeff Hardy.Jeff Hardy vs. Chris JerichoThe graphic is shown and it is announced that the fans have voted submission match over Last Man Standing and I Quit. Chris Jericho comes out first to a chorus of boos. Jeff follows and gets the usual huge ovation from the crowd as expected. Jericho seemed to have the advantage in this match as he is the submission expert. He went straight to work on Jeff’s legs and back, obviously gearing up for the Walls of Jericho. He clubbed away at his back and threw him into the corner a few times. Jericho hit a back breaker and held it there; locking in a submission, but Jeff wouldn’t tap this early. Jericho then quickly went for the Walls, but Jeff kicked him off and sent him into the corner. Jeff ran in and hit him with a shoulder thrust and Jericho fell into the corner. Jeff connected with the Hardyac Arrest dropkick. He dragged Jericho out of the corner and hit a leg drop before locking in a Boston Crab. Jericho managed to scramble to the ropes. Both men have tried to end this match early. Hardy went to go back to work on Jericho, but was met with a back handed chop. Jericho took control after that, hitting a step up enziguri, gutwrench suplex and even pulled out the double powerbombs he used when he first debuted in WWE. He went for the Walls again but Jeff scrambled to the ropes before it could be fully locked in. Jericho looked frustrated at this and eventually locked on the Walls of Jericho, but he did it on the ropes like he did to Chris Benoit back during their Submission match back in 2001. Jericho had a sadistic look on his face and he went to the outside to get a steel chair. The referee stopped him from using it though, which was enough of a distraction to allow Jeff Hardy to hit a sitout jaw breaker. He followed that up with the Whisper in the Wind and called for the Twist of Fate. Jericho blocked the first attempt and went for the Codebreaker, but Jeff held onto the ropes so Jericho crashed to the mat. Jeff lifted him and hit the Twist of Fate. He climbed to the top and connected with the Swanton Bomb. He looked around and then locked on the Texas Cloverleaf. Jericho was struggling and looking for the ropes but he was nowhere near them. Eventually though, he managed to reach them. Both men were exhausted and the referee was checking on Jericho, when suddenly a man in a long sleeve shirt and a mask rushed in the ring and nailed Jeff with a steel chair. He quickly exited the ring and Jericho noticed this as he quickly went over and locked in the Walls of Jericho. Jeff couldn’t respond to the referee, forcing the official to call for the bell. Winner: Chris Jericho (18:18) ***¾Jericho celebrated his victory as the crowd was left to wonder who the masked man was. Jeff looked dazed in the ring as the referee checked on him.
We now cut straight to a video package showing the events that have gone down between Kane and Batista.Kane w/ Paul Bearer vs. BatistaWe are once again shown the graphic for the choices of stipulation for this match. The votes are in and the fans have decided that they want the Inferno match over a Stretcher match and a First Blood match. Kane made his way to the ring first to some of the best heat so far tonight. Batista followed to a great ovation. The flames were ignited and the two big men stared each other down in the middle of the ring. Once the bell rang, they began to trade fists in the middle of the ring until Batista punched Kane back into the turnbuckle. Batista continued with shots in the corner and then shoulder thrusts. He sent Kane off the ropes and hit a big shoulder block. He began to drag Kane over to the fire, but Kane broke free of his grip and connected with a big boot. He sent Batista off the ropes and caught him with a powerslam. Kane then hit a sidewalk slam and also went to put Batista in the fire. Batista struggled to block it but eventually managed to as he elbowed Kane in the stomach. They went back and forth for the following five or so minutes, each man failing in another attempt at setting the other on fire. Batista did catch Kane with a spinebuster as the flames shot up, giving us a very nice photo. Batista then shook the ropes as he seemed to be calling for the Batista Bomb. He set up Kane for one but got hit with a back body drop. Kane lifted and nailed him with a chokeslam right after. He began to drag The Animal to the fire, but Batista reached down and found a way to push Kane away. Kane got upset and tossed Batista through the ropes, but he managed to avoid the fire. Kane got upset at this and climbed to the top. He leapt off the top for the flying clothesline, but Batista moved out of the way and Kane hit the announce table. Batista then grabbed Kane and delivered a Batista Bomb onto the apron, setting Kane’s back on fire. Officials quickly rushed to him and extinguished the fire. Winner: Batista (14:27) **¾Batista got back in the ring and posed for the crowd as they ate up the win tonight. Batista promised revenge and got it here tonight in Pittsburgh.
In the back, Josh Matthews is standing by with WWE Champion MVP. He asks MVP if he’s ready for his match tonight despite not knowing who he’s going to face. MVP says that he has wrestled and beaten each of the three choices tonight, so he has confidence heading into the match. He also says that he will stop at nothing to keep the WWE Championship around his waist.ECW Championship: Mr. Kennedy (c) vs. Kevin Thorn w/ The Brood vs. Matt HardyThe fans’ voting was shown and they decided that this match will be held under Extreme Rules instead of being a Parking Lot Brawl or a Tables match. Kevin Thorn came to the ring first, along with the Brood to boos. Matt Hardy followed and got the same treatment from this sold out crowd. Mr. Kennedy was next and got a great ovation. Once the match began, the heels did as you would expect and they both worked over the Champion. They each hit him with some of their best moves and worked well together. Hardy hit Kennedy with the Side Effect and went for the cover, but Thorn broke up the count. That led to Thorn and Hardy trading fists for a short while, until Kennedy ran at them and hit them with a double clothesline. Kennedy used this time to go to the outside and get some weapons. He threw a trash can, steel chair and Singapore cane in the ring. Before he could use any of it though, Hade Vansen attempted to nail him, but he ducked it and hit him with a quick Mic Check. Once he got up though, Paradox spit the green mist at his face. Inside the ring, Hardy grabbed the Singapore cane and went to swing at Thorn but Thorn ducked and hit him with the trash can. He then tossed him into the corner and set up a chair between the top and second turnbuckle on the other side. He Irish whipped Hardy into the corner, but Hardy reversed it and sent Thorn back first into the chair. As he came out the corner, Hardy caught him with the Side Effect, but just got a near fall. He went for the Twist of Fate, but Kennedy got back in the ring and nailed him. Kennedy’s face was green from the mist, but that didn’t stop him from making his comeback. He hoisted up Matt Hardy and hit him with the Green Bay Plunge. He turned to Thorn, who kicked him in the stomach and went for the Crucifix, but Kennedy wriggled free. Once he got free he quickly turned Thorn around and connected with the Mic Check for the win. Winner and Still ECW Champion: Mr. Kennedy (12:56) **¾Mr. Kennedy celebrated his victory in the ring along with the crowd. Up on the stage, Jack Swagger slowly walked out and he stared a hole right through the ECW Champion.
A video package is shown to highlight the recent feud between WWE Champion MVP, Ted Dibiase Jr., Triple H and John Cena.
We now go to the graphic, which announces that surprisingly, Ted Dibiase Jr. has won the voting to get the WWE Championship shot tonight.WWE Championship: Montel Vontavious Porter (c) vs. Ted Dibiase Jr. w/ LegacyTed Dibiase came to the ring along with Cody Rhodes and Joe Henning to some very good heat, but got a few cheers in there. MVP came out next, to his usual great reaction from the crowd. The crowd seemed prepared for this very fresh WWE Title match. They locked up in the middle of the ring and MVP overpowered his challenger and pushed him down to the mat. They got up and tried again and the same thing happened. Ted look frustrated so he tried a different approach and went for a test of strength. MVP obliged and seemed to be gaining the upper hand, so Ted kicked him in the stomach. He followed that up with some stiff punches and backed the Champion into the corner. He delivered some shoulder thrusts there and then hit him with a scoop slam. Ted began to work over MVP’s neck with some rest holds. He then hit MVP with three successive elbow drops for a near fall. Adopting a move from his father, Ted attempted a fist drop but MVP dodged out of the way. They got up at the same time and Ted ran at MVP but got caught with a snap overhead belly to belly suplex. He covered for a near fall. MVP tossed him into the corner and nailed the Player’s Boot but when he covered, Rhodes put Ted’s foot on the bottom rope. The referee saw this and ejected Legacy from ringside to the crowd’s delight. MVP watched as this happened, which allowed Ted to roll him up from behind, but just get a near fall. He went to kick MVP, but got his foot caught and got hit with a dragon screw. MVP followed that up with his Ballin’ elbow drop for another near fall. He called for the Playmaker, but Ted swept out MVP’s leg, breaking the move. He then connected with his fist drop for a two count. He stalked MVP and waited for him to get up, then locked on the Million Dollar Dream. MVP was struggling for air and Ted had it locked on tight. MVP managed to drop down into a jawbreaker though and Ted had to break the hold. He stumbled back to the ropes and on the rebound MVP hit him with a knee smash. He then drilled him with the Drive By to retain the gold. Winner and Still WWE Champion: Montel Vontavious Porter (17:01) ***½MVP was handed his WWE Championship and posed for the crowd. The announcers put over how Ted Dibiase hung tough and showed he belonged at the top tonight.
We go to the back where Triple H is getting prepared for the World Tag Team Title match. John Cena walks up to him and says that they both are pissed that they didn’t get the vote for the WWE Title match and they pretty much hate each other, but they have a chance to do something special tonight and win Tag Team gold. Triple H doesn’t respond and just walks off.World Tag Team Championship: Perfectly Awesome (c) w/ Alicia Fox vs. John Cena & Triple HTriple H got booed the entire way to the ring, while his partner, John Cena, got one of the loudest pops of the night. Perfectly Awesome followed to some major heat. Cena and Miz began the match, and Cena dominated this portion. He was in full control as he tagged in HHH. HHH continued to help his team control the match as they started out working like a well oiled machine despite not talking to each other. Eventually, Ziggler gained control for his guys after hitting Cena with a dropkick. He followed that with a German suplex and his jumping elbow drop for a near fall. He tagged The Miz back in, who controlled Cena now that he was on the ground. He stomped on him a few times before picking him up and hitting a jawbreaker. He sent him into his team’s corner and nailed his corner clothesline, before making the tag back to Dolph. He came in and continued to work over Cena until he went for the Zig Zag finisher. He jumped for it, but Cena held onto the ropes to block it. Cena then hit him with the throwback and the five knuckle shuffle before tagging HHH in. The Game came in fired up as he caught Ziggler with his running high knee and then hit Miz with the knee smash. He stayed on top of Miz and hit him with some mounted punches until Ziggler knocked him off. He ran at HHH but got caught with a hard spinebuster. He posed after nailing it and the crowd was behind him now. He now made the tag to Cena, who immediately locked Ziggler in the STFU. He was on the verge of tapping out, but Miz came in and broke up the move. HHH ran in and took out Miz with a huge clothesline. Cena hoisted Ziggler up for the FU, but from out of nowhere, HHH kicked him in the stomach and dropped him with a Pedigree. He left the ring after that and Ziggler placed him arm over Cena but surprisingly he kicked out right before three. Perfectly Awesome couldn’t believe it and Cena slowly got up. Once he got up though, Ziggler dropped him back down with the Zig Zag and that was enough to get the three. Winners and Still World Tag Team Champions: Perfectly Awesome (15:11) ***¼Triple H was at the top of the ramp as the match ended and he didn’t even bother to look back at the ring. Perfectly Awesome celebrated their huge win as the announcers reminded us that we won’t hear the end of this win from these two loud mouths.
A video package is shown of the rivalry that has gone on the past few months between World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and Edge. It all culminates in tonight’s main event!World Heavyweight Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. EdgeThe graphic is shown and we find out the final fan voting, which shows that TLC has won out over Steel Cage and 2 out of 3 Falls. The tables, ladders and chairs are set up around the ring quickly and then Edge makes his way to the ring to his usual mixed reaction. The World Champion follows and CM Punk is given the awesome response he always gets. The referee takes the belt, places it on the hook and it is raised to the rafters above. Once the match begins, they lock up and Edge forces the Champion into the corner, where he unleashed lefts and rights. Edge took him out the corner, sent him off the ropes and connected with a flapjack, followed by a half nelson bulldog. He went to the outside, where he grabbed a chair. He swung at Punk, who ducked and delivered a swift super kick to the face. Punk picked up the chair and nailed Edge with it in the back. He then went to the outside and brought in a table. He set it up in the corner and went to grab Edge, but got caught with punch to the gut and then a Russian leg sweep. Edge set up a ladder across the guardrail and ring apron and brought one inside the ring as well. He placed it on the mat and then delivered a DDT to Punk on it. Edge then set up the ladder and began to climb it. Punk was up and climbed the other side. As he neared the top, he kicked Edge twice in the ribs. He set up for a superplex off the ladder, but Edge shoved him off. He hit the mat and bounced off the ropes and as he came back, he knocked the ladder over sending Edge to the mat. Punk set the ladder up in a corner and threw Edge into it. He followed in with a knee strike and then a bulldog. Punk began to set the ladder up so he could climb but before he got to climb, Edge ran and Speared him through the table set up in the corner. Both men were down for a short while until Edge rolled to the outside. He picked up another ladder but before he could take it in the ring, CM Punk hit a suicide dive to the outside knocking the ladder right into Edge. Punk got up first and set up a ladder on the outside. He placed Edge across the ladder that lies between the guardrail and ring apron. Punk began to climb up the side closest to Edge, but on his way up, Edge got up. Edge climbed up the same side as Punk and delivered some shots to the back. With Edge behind Punk, he grabbed his face and brought him down with the Edge-O-Matic through the ladder between the ring apron & guardrail in a sick spot. Both men looked to be extremely hurt and were down for a few minutes during which time we witnessed multiple replays of that move. Edge stirred first and crawled into the ring. He slowly set up a ladder in the middle of the ring and began to climb it very gingerly. Punk managed to get up as Edge was halfway up. He crawled in the ring and nailed Edge in the back a few times. He then got under Edge and hoisted him on his shoulders before bringing him down with a Go 2 Sleep. Both men were down again, but Punk climbed back up first. He was nearing the top, but Edge tilted the ladder over, sending Punk crashing to the mat. Now Edge set up the ladder this time and began to climb, but Punk wasn’t far behind his pace. They were on each side of the ladder and when Edge had his fingertips on the belt; Punk kicked him in the ribs twice again. They began to trade fists at the top until Punk caught a fist from Edge. He took Edge’s arm and placed it behind Edge’s head in Anaconda Vise type fashion. He then wrenched it back but Edge hit him with his free hand. Punk fell down a few rungs. Edge reached for the belt, but Punk pulled his leg through a rung and Edge ended up upside down like Chris Jericho at WrestleMania XXIV. That allowed Punk to climb up again and grab the World Heavyweight Title. Winner and Still World Heavyweight Champion: CM Punk (22:21) ****¾CM Punk celebrated on top of the ladder with his World Title as the crowd went nuts. The announcers put over this amazing match of the year candidate and call it the pinnacle of CM Punk’s World Title reign so far.© WWE 2009

- Nice win for Kaval in the strap match. - Loving the McCool render, lol. Maryse winning the bra and panties match is great. - Hart Foundation vs Londrick is great, I can't wait. Nor surpried that TJ and Smith picked up the vicotry, good decision as Londrick haven't been back long enough. - Submission!? What the heck. Glad Jericho won in such a fashion, wonder who the masked man was. - Holy crap, Batista Bomb on the fire. Nice Inferno Match. - Extreme Rules is great. I wish the finish involved a table spot. Nevermind, I'm glad Kennedy retained. - I'm glad MVP retained, nice job. - Happy Perfectly Awesome retained, I wonder what's never for Cena and Triple H. - TL MATCH WOOO. Punk wins Punk wins.
Great job on this Kev, great read.

Cyber Sunday was a solid read from top to bottom, Kev. I don't think you could have picked a better opener out of all the matches. Not surprised to see Kaval retain the belt. Maryse won the Divas Championship? WOOOO!! Keep the belt on her forever and ever. Glad that The New Hart Foundation retained over Paul London and Brian Kendrick. I hope that Jericho goes onto even bigger things now. World Title run? Not really shocked that Batista went over Kane. The Extreme Rules match sounded good. Glad that Mr. Kennedy retained the belt. I'm glad that you're beginning to push Ted DiBiase more and more. A win for Perfectly Awesome over Triple H and John Cena is HUGE for them. Solid way to close the show. Would have loved Edge to win the title, but I can see you setting up Edge/Jericho for some reason.

- A good way to start the show with Kaval/Bourne. I hope that Kaval is pushed as a dominate champion as he could pull that off, easily. Also, a strap match is a decent outcome from the voting. - Maryse is awesome so I am all in favor of her winning the gold. Figured a Bra and Panties match would prevail - A great tag team match and very happy to see the Hart Foundation win. They are a good tag team, as were London and Kendrick. - I don’t believe Hardy has any submission moves, really so obviously the match favored Jericho to begin with. Hope that Jericho reclaims some gold. - Inferno match seemed suitable considering the fire that was used previously. Not surprised to see Kane lose, as I didn’t see Batista catching on fire. - Good win for Kennedy and it seemed like a pretty good hardcore match, overall. - I hope at some point DiBiase is able to walk away with some title gold. Impressive reign so far for MVP. - Awesome to see Perfectly Awesome beat Cena and HHH. That gives them a huge win. Great. - Holy crap what a great main event. Punk retaining is fine, that was a sick main event though. Edge O’Matic through a table? Jeesh. Good stuff. - Reply to ECW/WCW/WWF 2001?
