November 6th, 2009 Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, Maine Attendance: 8, 746
Smackdown opens with a video showing The New Hart Foundation beating CM Punk and Jeff Hardy in last week’s main event. That is followed by Chris Jericho’s post match attack on CM Punk and telling him that he’ll see him at the Survivor Series.Jim Ross and Matt Striker welcome us to tonight’s show. We are all curious about the absence of Tazz. They promote tonight’s main event between Shelton Benjamin and Jeff Hardy, as well as an announcement that Stephanie McMahon and Vickie Guerrero must make concerning Survivor Series. We will also hear from CM Punk and Chris Jericho about their big upcoming match. Speaking of Jericho, his theme plays as he comes to the ring to open tonight’s show. He’s dressed in a suit and gets on the microphone once he enters the ring. He talks about how he defeated Jeff Hardy at Cyber Sunday by making him submit. He mentions that being trained in the Hart Dungeon gave him the skills he needed to beat Jeff, just like it helped the New Hart Foundation beat Jeff and Punk last week. He says that he will use the Hart Dungeon training to defeat Punk at Survivor Series. He says that he’s been waiting for a fair one on one chance at the World Title ever since he came to Smackdown. He’s only had a Triple Threat shot at King of the Ring and the Scramble match opportunity at Unforgiven. CM Punk comes to the ring to interrupt. He tells Jericho that if he wanted a Title shot, all he had to do was ask. Even though he won at Cyber Sunday unfairly, he still did win, so he deserves to be first in line for the Title shot. He should have been a man about it and just challenged him instead of attacking him from behind. Punk says that it’s fine though, he’ll get what’s coming to him at Survivor Series. Jericho says that what’s coming to him is the World Heavyweight Championship. They get right in each other’s face before Stephanie McMahon cuts them off. She comes to the stage with Vickie Guerrero. Stephanie tells them that they both need to cool off, so they have the rest of the night off. The crowd boos that, but she and Vickie continue by saying that with two Raw Superstars getting to captain a Survivor Series match, it’s only fair Smackdown gets the same thing. So they have each chosen a captain. Vickie listened last week and has granted Shelton Benjamin the captainship of one team, while Stephanie has picked Jeff Hardy, hence tonight’s main event. She says that both men can begin to choose their teams tonight. Commercial Break.
Singles Match Chris Masters vs. Kofi KingstonThis was a solid opener as the crowd was very pumped for Kofi after his huge upset win over Edge last week. He controlled most of the match until Masters used his power to gain the upper hand. He gripped on the Masterlock but Kofi, while locked in, leapt up and got his feet on the second rope, causing the hold to be broken. Masters let go, but once Kofi turned around, he connected with Trouble in Paradise for the win. Winner: Kofi Kingston (6:16) **¾Kofi celebrated his victory along with the crowd until he was nailed with a steel chair shot to the back. The chair was swung by Edge who hit him several more times before connecting with the Edgecution onto the chair. He posed as we cut to commercial.Commercial Break.Josh Matthews is standing by with Mr. Money in the Bank, Shelton Benjamin. He asks him if he’s made any decisions regarding his team for Survivor Series. Shelton said that it doesn’t matter who he puts on his team because as long as the Gold Standard is there, victory is guaranteed. But he still wants to surround himself with the best and that’s why he’s chosen the WWE Tag Team Champions. TJ Wilson and Harry Smith appear on screen next to Shelton with smirks on their faces. Shelton says that along with himself, they’ve been the most dominant force on Smackdown and with them on the same team, nobody will stop them.Singles Match Curt Hawkins vs. Jamie Noble w/ Charlie Haas and Kelly KellyJust like last week, Hawkins struggled in his singles match. His former partner, Zack Ryder did well alone on ECW this week though. Noble held the advantage throughout and eventually picked up the win with the Trailer Hitch. Winner: Jamie Noble (4:44) **We witnessed another post match attack, this one by two superstars the WWE has never seen before. They beat down on the Technicians and nailed Noble with a very nice powerbomb double team move. They helped Hawkins up to his feet and raised his arms in the air. One of the men got a microphone and introduced himself as Trent Baretta. The other man here is Caylen Croft and along with Curt Hawkins, they are The Dudebusters.Commercial Break.
Singles Match WWE Tag Team Champion TJ Wilson w/ Harry Smith & Natalya Neidhart vs. Tyler BlackWow. This stole the show tonight as these two athletes put on an absolute classic. Wilson had control in the early stages as he beat out Black in the early mat wrestling portion of the match. Then he used some shady tactics, such as placing his feet on the ropes for extra leverage and pulling Black’s hair. Black rallied behind the crowd and hit a springboard clothesline, followed by the Paroxysm for a near fall. Eventually, the finish came when Wilson attempted to lock on the Sharpshooter, only to have Black kick him off and into the corner. Wilson ran at Black as he got up, but was met with God’s Last Gift to end it. Winner: Tyler Black (10:27) ***½Black celebrated his victory and the camera cut to the back where United States Champion John Morrison is watching on a monitor. He shakes his head and walks off.Commercial Break.
Tag Team Match Finlay & Sheamus O’Shaunessy w/ Hornswoggle vs. Paul London and Brian KendrickFinlay has looked pretty sloppy in the ring as of late and that hurt his team tonight. Sheamus dominated his smaller opponents, but when Finlay went for the Celtic Cross, London broke free and rolled him up for the win. Winners: Paul London and Brian Kendrick (5:27) **½After the match, Sheamus was upset with Finlay for pretty much costing them the match. They get into each other’s face and Sheamus pushes his uncle down before Hornswoggle tries to calm him down. It works as Sheamus apologizes and helps Finlay up.
In the back, we see Divas Champion Maryse walking towards the ring area with Natalya Neidhart.Commercial Break. We return to see Angela Fong standing by with Jeff Hardy. She asks him about the masked man who attacked him at Cyber Sunday. Jeff says that he has no idea who the man was, but he’s on a mission to find out. But he says that he’s focused on two other things as well. One is beating Shelton Benjamin tonight and the other is to pick his team for Survivor Series. He saw Shelton’s choice of the New Hart Foundation and says that he wants to counter it. He has chosen the team of Paul London and Brian Kendrick to join Team Hardy.Divas Tag Team Match Kelly Kelly & Michelle McCool vs. Divas Champion Maryse & Natalya NeidhartGail Kim was on commentary for this match, which was your typical divas tag match. It wasn’t long and the heels beat up on Kelly. She made the hot tag to McCool, who had control against Maryse. A blind tag from Natalya though, and the heels took back control. McCool managed to win it though as she eventually nailed Maryse with the Faith Breaker. Winners: Kelly Kelly & Michelle McCool (5:09) **
Commercial Break.
Singles Match Jeff Hardy vs. Shelton BenjaminThese two have had their fair share of great matches this year. They’ve had a few on Smackdown, but none topped their Royal Rumble 2009 classic. This wasn’t one of their best, but it was still very good. They went back and forth throughout the match, with neither man really holding a big edge. The end came when Jeff climbed to the top to hit the Swanton Bomb, but the masked man jumped the guardrail. Jeff turned his attention to him, which allowed Shelton to get up, run to the corner, leap up and nailed a super Paydirt for the win. Winner: Shelton Benjamin (14:21) ***½World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk is seen on his way to exit the arena, when Jericho attacked him from behind. For the second straight week, Smackdown ends with Jericho beating down on CM Punk. After Punk is down, Jericho grabs a beer can and pours the contents of it onto Punk. The announcers bring up Punk’s straight edge lifestyle and call Jericho the master manipulator as doing this will really send a message to Punk.© WWE 2009

Good opening promo there. Team Hardy vs Team Benjamin sounds cool. Glad Kofi got the win there, keeping momentum after his huge upset last week. Black over Wilson is interesting. Wonder if he'll get a Tag Partner for NHF. Londrick winning sounds good, glad they didn't do much for the win. Shelton having NHF and Hardy having Londrick sounds cool. Diva's action... bleh. Faces getting the win is alright. Benjamin beating Hardy due to the masked man is good, wonder who it is. Doesn't take that much momentum away from Hardy as Benjamin didn't really win on his own. And lastly, the backstage attack was good. The beer pouring on Punk is very sparkful for the feud.
Good Smackdown, Kev. Still my favorite diary on the boards.

SmackDown, great opening segment, and Benjamin and Hardy captaining SS teams is great. Glad to see Kingston over Masters, the right choice. I love this Kingston/Edge feud. The New Hart Foundation is a perfect choice for Team Benjamin. Noble with the victory is good. Barreta and Croft debuting with Hawkins, that's great. Hawkins will be a great addition to the Dudebusters. I sense Tyler Black on Team Hardy with that victory. London and Kendrick with the victory is alright as it sets up the post-match segment. I was expecting the Sheamus turn, but it was clever to have Hornswoggle calm him down. London and Kendrick on Team Hardy? This match is getting better. Kelly and McCool with the victory is alright, I wouldn't mind seeing Kelly as Divas Champion in the future. I was actually shocked to see Benjamin go over here, but please at the same time. Great way to end the show with yet another attack on Punk by Jericho. Can't wait for Survivor Series!

- I’d like to see Jericho win the belt at Survivor Series. Okay opening segment. - Decent opening match and a simple win for Kofi. People seem to be liking Kofi on the board as of late. - I really hope Benjamin wins a world title. Good selections for his team at Survivor Series. - Dudebusters? That seems like a comedy movie title. - Eh, not sure I like that TJ loses to Tyler Black. Only way this would work is if Jeff picks Black to be on his team, now. - Solid win for London/Kendrick. Cool to see them on Hardy’s team at Series. - Fantastic that Benjamin got the win over Jeff Hardy. That was a pleasant thing to read.

- I really wanna see Mr. Money In The Bank Shelton Benjamin win either the ECW, WWE, or World Heavyweight Championship, but other than that, good selections for his team at Survivor Series, Shelton can cash that baby in whenever he wants, wherever he wants, since it is guaranteed, he could even wait until Mania if he is that patient.
- Since Jericho pretty much poured alcoholic contents on to Punk, I see Jericho winning the belt at Survivor Series from Punk, and Jericho becoming the World Heavyweight Champion for the 6th time
- Kennedy I see him losing his ECW Championship to Jack Swagger at Survivor Series, since Swagger has momentum going in
- I would also like to see Triple H end MVP's miracle run as champion, since it has been a long time since HHH has been WWE Champion while being a heel at the same time, so it would be interesting to see him win the belt for a record 14th time
- Where is Orton been, because he has been gone for such a long time?
- Same with Edge too, where has The Rated R Superstar been?
But other than that, you have a good story coming in, good pay per view, I just hope your pay per view is really good and keeps us readers on our toes

Raw 11/9/09 Preview
-WWE Champion MVP pinned his Survivor Series opponent, Triple H in a tag team match last week. Triple H won't be in action tonight, but he is in the building. MVP on the other hand, will be in a non-title match. He will face Ted Dibiase Jr. in a Cyber Sunday rematch. Can Dibiase pull out the upset this time around? Or will MVP stand tall once again? And where will Triple H be found tonight?
-Batista and Kane have had a red-hot rivalry that dates all the way back to Night of Champions in June. Each man have been given the reigns to Captain a team at Survivor Series. Kane has picked his entire team, while Batista will announce his final two picks tonight. Before he makes his choice though, he will team with Evan Bourne to take on Kane and the Intercontinental Champion, Kaval!
-Ever since her debut last week, Serena Mancini has turned heads. She got a spot on the Survivor Series divas match in her debut and then she pinned Women's Champion Mickie James last week. Tonight, she teams with James against two rivals over on Smackdown, Gail Kim & Divas Champion Maryse. Tensions will be running high in this contest, between opponents and teammates alike.
For all of this and more tune into the USA Network tonight at 9:00PM!

WWE SmackDown: Friday 6th November 2009...Decent promo to kick off SmackDown this week with Chris Jericho in the ring, damn fine segment there preparing us for CM Punk against Chris Jericho at Survivor Series. Should be a fine match, and I hate to agree with tg11, but whilst Punk is an amazing World Heavyweight Champion, I feel his reign should be coming to a close, to be totally honest. Kofi Kingston beating Chris Masters is absolutely fine, a decent way to get things underway as it didn't seem like too bad a match. Jamie Noble beating Curt Hawkins is fine, but didn't do much for me. The fact it lasted under five minute also tells me that Hawkins is doomed now; send him to FCW for a while if anything. Mm, Tyler Black hopefully isn't rushed into anything, but good win for Tyler Black over TJ Wilson; I wonder if DH Smith will be getting involved with Black in this too. Would be quite a filler storyline, but I see John Morrison, the WWE United States Champion is already going to feud Tyler. Paul London and Brian Kendrick beating Finlay and Sheamus is oky I suppose, no problem here, but it seemed short. SmackDown isn't really having so much luck for matches tonight. Kelly Kelly and Michelle McCool beating Maryse and Natalya is absolute fine; small complaint, I feel that Natalya shouldn't manage the New Hart Foundation the same night she's also having a match. Shelton Benjamin and Jeff Hardy had a great match here, in the Royal Rumble rematch. Overall, the show was dull aside from the main event and Black/Wilson. Everything else...didn't do anything for me.

Finally someone agrees with me, Jericho will end Punk's title reign, as I think that Punk's miracle run as World Heavyweight Champion is over because Jericho has all the momentum going in this feud right now, especially after the way he attacked Punk and poured alcohol all over him, since Punk has been champion for too long.
Triple H will end MVP's miracle run as WWE Champion, even though do not get me wrong MVP has been a good WWE Champion, but he has not gone up against someone with the experience or the viciousness of HHH a 13-time WWE Champion, winning titles is HHH's M.O., and he is that damn good at it, so HHH will walk out of Survivor Series as the new WWE Champion, as the 14-time WWE Champion having a heel title run, HHH getting closer to Flair's record of world titles
I like the direction of Mr. Money In The Bank, Shelton Benjamin, future World Champion if he ever cashes in, he should at Survivor Series, in my opinion.
But hey, other than that, great story man

Raw opens with a short video package showing WWE Champion MVP picking up a pinfall victory over his opponent for Survivor Series, Triple H.Jerry “The King” Lawler and Michael Cole introduce us to tonight’s show after the opening fireworks display. They hype up tonight’s non-title main event, which is a rematch from Cyber Sunday between WWE Champion MVP and Ted Dibiase Jr. The viewers are also reminded that Batista will choose the final two Superstars for his team at Survivor Series as well as be involved in a big tag team match tonight. The WWE Champion MVP’s theme music hits as he comes down to the ring. He grabs a microphone and gets in the ring. MVP begins to talk about how 2009 has been his breakout year. He reminds us that he was in a rut to start the year, and then made it to the final two of the Royal Rumble before beating The Undertaker to snap his losing streak. Then he won the King of the Ring tournament and got his WWE Title shot at SummerSlam. Everybody counted him out and said he had no chance but he proved them all wrong and he’s continued to prove the doubters wrong every night since he won the belt. Now, going into Survivor Series, people once again doubt him, saying that he stands no chance against a 13 time Champion like Triple H. MVP promises to once again prove his doubters wrong and retain what he’s earned. Commercial Break.Eric Bischoff is shown backstage talking with Sean Morley. He says that he enjoyed seeing MVP do his best to prove the doubters wrong, but he feels like he has to beat Triple H at Survivor Series to really show everybody. Morley then asks when he’s going to get a chance to step back into the ring. Bischoff thinks about it and says that he can have a match tonight against R-Truth.Tag Team Match British Alliance w/ Katie Lea Burchill & Layla London vs. Cryme TymeThe crowd was in shock as the former Cabinet members returned to their former Cryme Tyme gimmick. They loved it though and that got them fired up for the match. The match went back and forth, as the Alliance are very good together, but in the end, Cryme Tyme used the G9 to pull out the victory. Winners: Cryme Tyme (5:16) **¼The World Tag Team Champions, Perfectly Awesome are shown in the back watching on a monitor. The announcers mention that they must keep their eye on the tag team competition in the WWE and Cryme Tyme being back isn’t good for them.
Batista is shown lacing up his boots, to a nice ovation from the crowd. Evan Bourne walks into his locker room and greets him. He tells Batista that he’s going to be the best partner he can be tonight and it’s an honor to team with a former World Champion. Batista thanks him for the compliment and said that he wanted to talk to Evan before their match anyway. He tells Evan that he’s chosen him to be a member of his Survivor Series team. Bourne happily accepts.Commercial Break.Angela Fong catches up with Cryme Tyme backstage as they celebrate their victory. She asks them what made them return to their old ways. JTG says that while following in JBL’s footsteps led them to a World Tag Team Title reign, they didn’t like the way they “sold out” and realized that they could be their natural selves and still be successful and they’re going to show that now.Singles Match R-Truth vs. Sean MorleyBefore the bell could ring, Elijah Burke made his way to ringside and sat down to join the commentators. He ran down R-Truth throughout the match and announced that he got a phone call earlier in the day from Shelton Benjamin and he has accepted to join Shelton’s Survivor Series team. The match was decent and Truth pulled out the win with a Scissors Kick. Winner: R-Truth (6:11) **½We cut to the back where Josh Matthews is standing by with Triple H. He asks The Game about MVP’s comments earlier tonight. Triple H says that he doesn’t care if MVP is on a mission to prove doubters wrong, because November 22nd is his night; his night to become a 14 time Champion, which will put him even closer to history. He had to prove doubters wrong early in his career so he commends MVP for wanting to do it as well, but he feels no remorse that he’s a huge roadblock in MVP’s way.Commercial Break.
Tag Team Match Batista & Evan Bourne vs. Kane & Intercontinental Champion Kaval w/ Paul BearerThis got a lot of time and managed to be a good first hour main event. The teams went back and forth early on until Kane began to dominate Bourne. He then tagged back and forth with Kaval as they worked over Bourne. Bourne came close to tagging Batista twice but timely shots from Kaval stopped him. Eventually though, a well placed hurricanrana from Bourne gave him the time to tag in the Animal. He came in hot and took down both of his opponents. In the end, he nailed Kaval with a huge spine buster, tagged Bourne back in and then took Kane to the outside. Bourne climbed to the top and hit the AirBourne for the win. Winners: Batista & Evan Bourne (13:54) ***¼
Commercial Break.Eric Bischoff is shown in his office when a knock is heard. R-Truth comes in and it turns out, Bischoff called him to the office. He first congratulates him on winning tonight, but then informs him that Shelton Benjamin chose Elijah Burke to be on his Survivor Series team. Bischoff just got a call from Stephanie McMahon saying that Jeff Hardy has picked R-Truth for his team. Truth says to tell them he happily accepts and then he leaves. Batista, still tired from the previous match, enters next and informs Bischoff that he’s made his final choice for his team. He said that after closely watching ECW and Smackdown, he’s decided on selecting Tyler Black and the crowd seems to enjoy this news.Divas Tag Team Match Gail Kim & Divas Champion Maryse vs. Women’s Champion Mickie James & Serena ManciniAs expected, this didn’t go as planned. Neither team got along with each other, although James and Kim seemed willing to work with their partners. Eventually, both Maryse and Serena refused to tag in, so Kim and James brought them in the hard way and took both girls out, standing tall in the ring. No Contest (5:29) *¾Ted Dibiase Jr. is shown walking towards the arena with Legacy as our main event is next!Commercial Break.
Non-Title Singles Match WWE Champion MVP vs. Ted Dibiase Jr. w/ LegacyMuch like their Cyber Sunday match, this was good. They seem to have good chemistry together and it showed here. They were even throughout until MVP hit a snap belly to belly suplex. He went for his “Ballin” elbow drop, but Cody Rhodes tripped him up. That caused the referee to eject Legacy, but allowed Dibiase to roll up MVP for a near fall. Shortly after that though, MVP was poised to win when he delivered the Player’s Boot in the corner. Triple H ran down though and nailed him from behind. Winner by Disqualification: WWE Champion MVP (11:16) ***½Triple H went to the outside and got his sledgehammer, but by the time he got back in the ring, MVP was up and nailed him first. The two traded fists until Triple H dropped down and hit him with a low blow. He followed that up with a Pedigree and he grabbed the sledgehammer right after. He put it down though and picked up the WWE Title before posing with it.© WWE 2009

- Decent opening promo for MVP to kick things off. - Cryme Tyme being back is okay I guess. Glad they won in their return to the gimmick. Hell, maybe it'll make them more fresh then before. No pun intended. - Truth over Morley is good. - Batista & Bourne vs Kane & Kaval... heh, that sounds funny. Glad Bourne/Batista got the win. - Interesting finish to the Diva's match, original I must say. - Like the main event. Like that it ended in DQ. - The post match stuff worked as well, and glad Hunter didn't use the sledge just yet.
Pretty good Raw, Kev. Keep it up.

Raw, nice MVP promo to open up. Cryme Tyme going over here was predictable as they were returning to their original gimmick. Bourne on Team Batista? Interesting. Elijah Burke on Team Benjamin is even better. Glad to see Truth go over here. Batista and Bourne with the victory is good, but I see Team Kane winning at SSeries. Truth on Team Hardy was predictable after his match, but still good. A No Contest in a Divas match is something different. A DQ victory for MVP is the best choice as it doesn't hurt DiBiase much. It also allows more build between MVP and Triple H. Can't wait for Survivor Series.

Tonight, Mr. Kennedy has the night off, but Swagger will in action as he takes on his biggest rival in his young career, Rey Mysterio. He can choose whoever impresses him the most tonight in some matches. Will one of those four men be the one to impress Benjamin? Or will he add somebody completely different? -Speaking of the World Tag Team Champions, Perfectly Awesome was challenged by The Colons. They rejected the offer, but General Manager Theodore Long told The Colons they could have a title shot if they win their match tonight. The Colons will face off against the new team of Chavo Guerrero and Eric Escobar. Can The Colons get their shot? Or will Guerrero & Escobar play spoiler? Raw was a good show, still can't believe how long you kept this going. MVP promo is a good way to get him over more, glad you went that way for a champion for something a little different. Don't really care for Morley, so it doesn't matter what happens there to me. Glad you brought Cryme Tyme back to their original gimmick. Good win over the British Alliance. Nice announcment that Bourne will be on Batista's SS team. Glad R-Truth won, hopefully Morley will go away. Good promo for HHH, putting the match over. Like Kaval as IC Champ, but still glad that Batista and Bourne got the win. More good choices for SS teams, your card is really shaping up. Good main event with a decent finish, I didn't know HHH was heel though by his promo. Thats really the only thing I would work on. The SS card looks great like I said earlier. Keep it up man.

ECW opens with a video package showing the events of last week’s contract signing between ECW Champion Mr. Kennedy and Jack Swagger. Before being taken to the arena, Shelton Benjamin is shown backstage. He says that he’s going to pick the final member of his team tonight, from the ECW roster. He says that he’s only going to select the guy who impresses him the most.
Todd Grisham and newcomer Byron Saxton welcome us to tonight’s edition of ECW. They hype up tonight’s main event between the number one contender, Jack Swagger and Rey Mysterio. They also remind us that we have three other big matches signed for tonight so we get right into the action.Singles Match Goldust vs. World Tag Team Champion The Miz w/ Dolph Ziggler & Alicia FoxGoldust did not look rusty at all in his in ring return. He was with The Miz every step of the way, until a timely distraction from Alicia Fox gave Miz the advantage. He took full control and looked to be on the verge on victory, until he went for the Reality Check. Goldust dodged it and caught him by surprise with the Curtain Call to obtain victory. Winner: Goldust (7:07) **½In the back we see The Colons watching on a monitor. If they win tonight, they will get a World Tag Team Title shot next week right here on ECW.Commercial Break.Josh Matthews catches up with Goldust backstage and asks him about his search for a tag team partner. Goldust says that while he is still looking, he just proved that he can still hang with some of the WWE’s youngest, brightest talent and that his partner will be a young star.Tag Team Match The Colons vs. Chavo Guerrero & Eric EscobarGuerrero and Escobar surprised a lot of people as they worked well as a team. They used some quick tags and managed to cut the ring in half against the smaller Colon, Primo. Eventually though, Primo managed to snap off a quick hurricanrana and make the tag to Carlito. Carilto came in on fire and nailed both of his opponents with shots. Guerrero managed to stop him in his tracks and he hooked him for the Three Amigos. Carlito blocked it, got behind him and nailed the Back Cracker to end it. Winners: The Colons (8:13) **½In the back, Shelton Benjamin is shown watching closely on a monitor. He did not look very impressed.
Another promo video for the soon to be debuting Bryan Danielson is shown. It hypes up how he's been all over the World and won numerous Championships.Commercial Break.Angela Fong is standing by with the ECW Champion Mr. Kennedy when we return. She asks him if he’s nervous facing somebody with the skill set of Jack Swagger. Kennedy scoffs at that and says that he’s never been nervous a day in his life. He reminds us all that he is the ECW Champion, not Swagger, and it’s Swagger who has to prove that he is big time, just like Kennedy had to.Singles Match Tommy Dreamer vs. Zack RyderRyder once again looked impressive in his new push as a singles star. He used multiple underhanded tactics to work over Dreamer throughout the match. Tommy managed to make the usual comeback we all expect, but Ryder held serve and finished him off by hitting the Zack Attack. Winner: Zack Ryder (8:10) **¾Shelton Benjamin’s theme hit after the match, and Mr. Money in the Bank himself made his way down to the ring. He got in the ring and got on the microphone. He told Zack that what he just witnessed was very impressive, much more impressive than anything else he’s seen tonight on ECW. So he offers him a handshake and a chance to join his Survivor Series team. Ryder shakes it and makes it official.Commercial Break.
Singles Match Jack Swagger vs. Rey MysterioThere seemed to be an extra bounce in Swagger’s step now that he has an ECW Title shot in the near future. As usual, these two put on a show and had the best match of the night. Swagger was an aggressive beast throughout this one as he dominated the early stages. Mysterio took control halfway and was setting up for the 619. Matt Hardy’s theme music hit and stopped Rey in his tracks. Matt never came out though. Rey ran back off the ropes and went for the 619, but Swagger caught his legs on the way around. He brought him up, showing impressive strength and nailed a huge powerbomb for the win. Winner: Jack Swagger (11:43) ***¼Swagger celebrated as Mr. Kennedy came out to the top of the ramp. He stared down Swagger, while Swagger pointed to the ground and mouthed the words “down on your knees.”© WWE 2009

ECW, unusual way to open up with a backstage segment, but it's good to know that Team Benjamin will be completed tonight. Swagger versus Mysterio should be a good Main Event. Surprised, but very pleased to see Goldust go over here. I hope you have some good plans for him. Glad to see The Colons win here as I hate Escobar, get Guerrero away from him. Zack Ryder over Tommy Dreamer is good, just hope Dreamer isn't jobbed out. Pleased to see Ryder on Team Benjamin. So happy that it was Jack Swagger who wins here. I wouldn't mind seeing him take the title from Mr. Kennedy at Survivor Series. Good ECW, looking forward to Survivor Series.

11/11/09 Edition-Tazz has signed a contract with TNA Wrestling as of today. He quit the WWE last week, which is why Matt Striker took his place as part of the Smackdown announce team. Replacing Striker on ECW was former FCW commentator, Byron Saxton. -The decision to make Zack Ryder a member of Shelton Benjamin's Survivor Series team was due to the WWE seeing big things out of Ryder. Putting him on PPV will get him more exposure than ever before. -Expect another singles match to be added to the Survivor Series card. Most likely one involving Kofi Kingston and Edge. This feud just may put Kingston right into the main event of the WWE. -Recent changes were made to the WrestleMania XXVI card. It was going to be the Royal Rumble winner taking on the World Heavyweight Champion, but new plans have a completely different World Champion set for WrestleMania, as well as the match now being a Triple Threat.

WWE RAW: Monday 9th November 2009...Nice basic promo to kick off RAW with MVP in the ring; him as WWE Champion is good, but I feel that somebody should have gotten involved here, it seemed very basic and plain. I feel like his air-time is good, but babyface champions starting off a show with no interruptions should lead to a match, always. And it seemed strange that he'd stand and talk for about five minutes, just to return to the back various moments later. No hype for Ted Dibiase getting a match with MVP too, that's pretty odd. Cryme Tyme are a limited team; there is not too much they can do, to be honest. I hope they do something good, but they'd be rather better as heels. I hope they don't get another run with the World Tag Team Championships, anyways. British Alliance needs to find their routes again. R-Truth beating Sean Morley after Morley asked it was amusing. Elijah Burke there, that's pretty odd. I still hope he gets an eventual run with the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Speaking of that, great tag team match to cap off the first-hour of RAW. Batista and Evan Bourne & Kane and Kaval sounds very odd though. Kaval and Kane oddly goes together; you should really get Kaval more over, and if you put him with Paul Bearer managing him, that would be amazing, plus you have another team; and I feel Kane and Kaval could work incredibly together in some sort of alliance. I could picture Kaval in Kane's tights. Only difference is, Kane is the watchful guard of Kaval, and Kaval is the target. Think about that; that sounds great. Strange for the tag team match to end like that; I wonder what Serena Mancini's problem is with having a tag team partner like Mickie James. Nice interpromotional match too; I'm expecting an interpromotional RAW vs SmackDown Divas match at Survivor Series now. MVP beating Ted Dibiase by disqualification isn't good enough; MVP needs a clean win, and Triple H ruining the moment just about wrecked him again. Unfortunately, you need to be very careful when it comes to putting a new uppercarder over as a main eventer; this match translated slightly is basically what Sheamus was as WWE Champion. And you know you don't want that. Triple H I can see not winning the WWE Champion at Survivor Series though; just would seem unlikely for you to go for. Overall, a decent show with little to no flaws.
ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 10th November 2010...Was pretty strange why Shelton Benjamin started ECW, really. And the flow is basically off-put if you just go from the ECW on SyFy video package to Benjamin walking backstage. Ideally, this should have gone before the opening package. Byron Saxton on ECW, ah. Goldust beating The Miz was surprising, I wonder if The Miz and Dolph Ziggler have what it takes to overcome Goldust in the future though. I also wonder if Goldust has a friend in this to challenge for Miz and Ziggler's World Tag Team Championships. You seem to be at Boston, Massachusetts a lot in this diary, by the way. It's November; wonder if you're going to have the England shows; if so, be sure to make them seem big. They're heavily promoted over here after all. Chavo Guerrero and Eric Escobar doesn't seem like a bad team; but Primo and Carlito seemed to have the win straight away in this bout. Zack Ryder beating Tommy Dreamer was surprising, I wonder if Dreamer will be nearing the end of his career soon. Shelton Benjamin putting him in the Survivor Series match can easily make Ryder more over. Jack Swagger beating Rey Mysterio is fine, a good main event to the show here. And also sets up for Swagger against Mr Kennedy for the ECW Championship, come Survivor Series. A good show.
