ECW - - Decent promo from Zeke to start with. I think is good booking because it adds another dimension to his character. He's not just a goliath in the ring, he speaks and has a personality. I'm sure he'll be dominant. - Barrett starting out on ECW is great, perfect for him. - Carlito/Kaval is an interesting match-up. Carlito getting the return win can only lead to a third and final blow-off match, surely. - I would love for you to give Morrison the shot against Zeke. However, Zeke should be unstoppable, and it wouldn't do Morrison any favours to be mowed down by him. Looking forward to Morrison/Danielson. - Haas and Hennig sounds like a decent pairing. Shame they're both after the same thing, as I'd be interested in seeing them form a permanent team. Get the belt off of Ryder at least. - VAL VENIS GETS AIR TIME = - Bit mixed about the ending. Morrison/Danielson sounded great, but Dreamer comes and steals the spotlight. Dreamer could have saved the announcement for another time and had his own segment. It would have done much more to have Morrison and Danielson share the moment and make themselves seem like credible challengers to Zeke, rather than Dreamer having to 'personally endorse' them.

WWE RAW: Monday 26th April 2010...Definitely not used to the basic layout, Kev. Sort've disappointed you've reverted back to that layout. Hmm, I hope you can make this better. The booking after WrestleMania XXVI going into Backlash just proved you were losing interest in the diary. I hope you recapture the excitement and interest the diary had from December 2008 to the end of 2009. Edge in the ring first makes sense, retaining the WWE Championship from MVP. Interesting idea for tonight with the tag main event, wonder who John Cena's partner is. Kofi Kingston beating Matt Hardy is a solid opener, good idea for Kofi to win. Hopefully Hardy gets nowhere near the WWE Intercontinental Championship again. Michelle McCool beating Tiffany is alright. Nothing happening here. MVP beating Sheamus is a bit of an iffy sounding first hour main event, they never did really have a lot of chemistry. Ted Dibiase requesting help from Sheamus to take out The Undertaker is probably the best decision. Elijah Burke beating Mr Kennedy to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship is the best way to go. Paul London and Brian Kendrick defeating the Jung Dragons...sounds like a SmackDown match. Too weak for RAW in my mind. Hope Michelle McCool beats Mickie James next week. Shane McMahon returning in another feud continuation with Edge is good, good main event. Hopefully Shane and Edge's business finally concludes this time. Edge facing Shane...WWE Championship? Meh. Just a 'what the hell' moment. It was a generic post pay-per-view show.
ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 27th April 2010...Ezekiel Jackson kicking off the show was good, basic to promote himself as new ECW Champion. I feel as though somebody should have interrupted him, really. Even Tommy Dreamer. Just a little anticlimatic of an opening promo. Looking forward to how Wade Barrett is used. Carlito beating Kaval is a decent opening contest, Carlito winning surprised me. Charlie Haas and Joe Hennig beating Drew McIntyre and Zack Ryder is a nice tag team contest, wonder how long Ryder has as WWE Television Champion. Solid main event between John Morrison and Daniel Bryan, Morrison winning for the better. Didn't get why the commercial was there for Tommy Dreamer's arrival. Nice mini farewell from Dreamer to end the show, again, should have used Zeke interrupting to gain some heat and momentum. Decent show, could have been better.

April 30th, 2010 | Giant Center in Hersey, Pennsylvania
Tonight’s Smackdown broadcast kicks off with Backlash highlights. It shows Christian defeat Shelton Benjamin and Jeff Hardy retain the World Heavyweight Championship in a Triple Threat match also involving CM Punk and Randy Orton.
“Just Close Your Eyes” plays as Christian comes down to the ring, wearing a smile on his face after his big victory over Shelton Benjamin at Backlash. When he gets in the ring, he speaks about how he did what he promised to do when he got drafted to Smackdown and that’s make an impact. Beating a former World Heavyweight Champion like Benjamin, coupled with Orton and Punk losing last night to the current Champion, should put him next in line for a Title shot in his opinion. He is cut off by Shelton Benjamin, who gets right in Christian’s face. He thinks that one win shouldn’t vault Christian straight to the number one contender’s spot because he knows that nine times out of ten, he’ll beat Christian. He says that losing the strap at No Way Out was a fluke and he promises to regain the gold no matter who he has to go through. Before things can escalate though, Stephanie McMahon comes out to the stage. She says that she doesn’t want anything going down that’s not sanctioned, so she has decided on a main event for tonight. It will be a rematch from Backlash as Christian will face Shelton Benjamin, only this time, the winner will go on to face Jeff Hardy for the World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules! Christian and Benjamin are both happy with this announcement as we cut to commercial.
Commercial Break
World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy is shown arriving at the arena. Todd Grisham catches up to him and informs him of tonight’s main event. Jeff says that it sounds like it will be a great match and he looks forward to facing either Christian or Benjamin. Suddenly, he is nailed from behind by Drew Gallows. Joey Matthews and CM Punk enter the screen and put the boots to the World Champion as well. When they finish, Punk crouches down and tells Jeff that their issues are far from over for two reasons. One is that Jeff is still World Champion and the other is that Punk hasn’t saved Jeff from himself yet.
Stephanie McMahon and Vickie Guerrero are now shown in their office. Stephanie is talking about how her brother will finally get revenge on Edge at Extreme Rules. Vickie tells her that she’s tired of hearing about Shane and reminds Stephanie that Edge is still her boyfriend and she’s confident that Edge will keep his Title and take out Shane again. They get in each other’s faces, the first time this has happened in a while, and Vickie announces that she’s invited Edge to Smackdown next week. Stephanie is appalled and demands to know why. Vickie says that she just wants to have her boyfriend around. Stephanie says that if he’s coming to Smackdown, she’s going to book him in a match then. Vickie’s upset now and wants to know who Edge will face but Stephanie doesn’t give her an answer.
Commercial Break
The Dudebusters w/ Caylen Croft defeated The South Beach Party Boys Last week, the Dudebusters beat The South Beach Party Boys to become the number one contenders to the Hart Trilogy. Tonight was the third in the series of matches between the two teams and we saw Hawkins and Baretta as the in-ring members of the Dudebusters tonight. This proved to be a solid tag team contest just like their other two matches and Hawkins got the win with an elbow drop on Darren Young.
After the match, Hawkins grabbed a microphone and called out The Hart Trilogy. The WWE World Tag Team Champions answered the call and came out to the stage. Hawkins says that last week they earned a Title shot and they want to use it at Extreme Rules! TJ Wilson gladly accepts for his team and even tells Hawkins to pick the stipulation. Hawkins says that they’ll announce their stipulation next week on Smackdown. He ends the promo by telling The Hart Trilogy that their days as Champions are numbered.
Commercial Break
Drew Gallows w/ Serena Mancini & Joey Matthews defeated JTG This turned out to be your usual battle of strength versus speed as Gallows tried everything he could to put down JTG early on. The former Cryme Tyme member would not stay down though and he began to use his quickness to give him the upper hand. That wouldn’t last long though as he fell victim to the Gallows Pole.
We now see Gail Kim and April Lee preparing in the back for the first ever Divas Elimination Chase. Kim apologizes to Lee for how she treated her last week and she said that tonight they should start fresh. Lee says that she would love that and wishes Kim good luck in tonight’s match.
Commercial Break
Randy Orton’s theme hits as “The Viper” makes his way down the ramp. He’s in wrestling gear as he grabs a microphone and talks about how he was robbed at Backlash. He claims that he should’ve gotten a one on one rematch with Jeff Hardy for his World Heavyweight Title, but instead he had to be in a Triple Threat match with CM Punk. He admits that he was the one to be pinned on Sunday, but he feels that things would be different if he faced Jeff in a singles match. Now, he has to sit back and watch Shelton Benjamin and Christian wrestle tonight with a chance at the next Title shot. He’s so furious right now that he wants to take his anger on anyone dumb enough in the back to come out here right now. After a few moments, Rey Mysterio’s music hits as the “Master of the 619” accepted the challenge.
Rey Mysterio defeated Randy Orton Orton was truly upset and it showed as he was incredibly aggressive in this contest. Once Rey slid into the ring, Orton put the boots to him. He kept tossing Rey around the ring and uses a lot of brute force. But Rey is never one to quit and he fought back valiantly giving Orton a run for his money. Near the end, Orton began to stalk Rey for the RKO but when he went for it, Rey pushed him off into the ropes. Orton came back to Rey, who nailed a hurricanrana and bridged it for the surprise win!
After the match, Rey quickly got out of dodge and Orton was furious in the ring. He went outside and began to destroy some of the nearby equipment, including the monitors and announce table.
Commercial Break
Ashley Valance is backstage with The Miz. She asks him about his promo last week, where he declared 2010 to be the “Year of The Miz”. Miz says that he was actually not one hundred percent right about what he said last week. While, 2010 will be the “Year of The Miz”, it will also be just the start of “The Decade of Awesome.” He plans on starting it with the United States Championship, but he understands that he currently isn’t the top contender, so for now he’s biding his time just waiting for the 2010 King of the Ring Tournament.
Cody Rhodes & United States Champion Jack Swagger defeated Goldust & Tyler Black These four continued to show just how good the mid-card division here on Smackdown is. They put on a very solid tag team match and the story was Black doing everything he could to get his hands on Swagger. When they faced off in the ring, it led to some exciting action, but the most interesting matchup involved the Rhodes brothers. They showed good chemistry together and were very aggressive against each other. The finish came when Swagger downed Goldust with the Gutwrench Powerbomb.
After the match, Swagger was handed his United States Title and showed it off as Black looked on, extremely frustrated. Meanwhile, in the ring, Goldust began to stir, but was attacked from behind by Cody. Cody nailed him with the Cross Rhodes, then slapped him across the face and began to shout that Goldust was an embarrassment to his family’s name.
Commercial Break
Divas Elimination Chase: April Lee, Beth Phoenix & Gail Kim defeated Alicia Fox Despite their differences over the past few weeks, Lee and Kim worked well together in this match. All four Divas fought hard as a shot at Serena Mancini’s Women’s Championship was on the line. Beth was her usual dominant self and it was her who scored the pin after a Glam Slam to eliminate Fox.
We now see Christian and Shelton Benjamin both walking towards the arena as our main event is next! The camera then cuts away to show Jeff Hardy, noticeably limping, also coming towards the arena for the main event.
Commercial Break
Jeff Hardy came out first, going to ringside for commentary during the upcoming match.
Christian vs. Shelton Benjamin went to a No Contest Just like their match at Backlash, and basically every match they’ve had with each other in their career, this was very good. It featured some solid back and forth action as well as numerous near falls. Christian connected with the Unprettier, but was rather hurt and took long to pin, allowing Shelton to kick out. He went for it again, but Shelton turned him around and drilled him with Paydirt. He also took long to cover and Christian kicked out. From out of nowhere though, the Straight Edge Society ran down to the ring and attacked both men.
Jeff Hardy jumped into the ring to get some revenge on the SES and it turned into a three on three of sorts. This brawl continued until Christian, Hardy and Benjamin forced the SES to retreat. Benjamin stayed clear of Hardy and Christian even though they have a common enemy. The show ends with a stare down between the sides.

Great job on Smackdown but who is going to become #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship since that Christian/Shelton Benjamin match-up was disrupted by SES & Punk, and you know Orton is going to want the title back too, so why not have a World Heavyweight Championship Scramble Match at the next pay-per-view

-Great promo to kick off the show. Benjamin and Christian for the #1 Contender should be good. -The Dudebusters over SBPB is decent either way to rather continue this feud. -Gallows over JTG is fine, looked basically to make SES look strong off Punk's loss. -Randy Orton seeming more aggressive is something I could picture. Mysterio picking up a surprise win is interesting. Could start an Orton losing streak. But I don't know how this could go for board members who like Randy. -Cody and Jack over Black and Goldust was expected since Goldust doesn't have much relevance here. -A championship chase for the divas is awesome. Basically something for them to do besides these hair-pulling basic battles week in week out. Fox out first was expected. -Wow. A good main event, confused as to who will be #1 contender how. Looked basically to save something interesting for next week.

Good opening promo to kick off this edition of Smackdown, dragging on the Christian/Benjamin feud and incorporating it with the world title is pretty sweet. Sounds like a decent main event, but somethings up - I can smell it. Aha, nice attack from the back from the Straight Edge Society on them. Interesting little mini-showdown from Stephanie and Vickie. Edge coming over to Smackdown is intriguing, especially with him being in action. I love that the Dudebusters got the victory over the South Beach Party Boys, and am more glad to have them become the number one contenders. I don't expect them to take the gold at Extreme Rules, however. Decent air time to have Gallows squashing JTG, shows a little bit of strength from him rather than just a back up beat-the-crap-out-of-you-is-all-I-do. Decent, short promo from Orton to get his point across. I am a little unsure about Mysterio picking up the win, although, Orton snapping after the match definitely adds some interest towards what will continue on with him. Nice little interview with The Miz; shall be interesting to see what he does and seeing as there is a King of the Ring tournament on the way, I'm suspecting another June Pay-Per-View event to coincide with last year's. I hope Miz doesn't win it, however, I'd like to see him make it at least to the semi's. Decent tag team match, pitting brother vs brother and champion vs previous champion. Goldust taking the fall was for the best, and interesting situation you have with Rhodes attacking him. Hope this sticks to just a television feud, though. Best decision to have Alicia Botch be eliminated first. I can't stand her at all, honestly. I must give you props for the idea of the chase, though, as it is different for the diva's division and adds a little bit of spice. Like that the Straight Edge Society interrupted the main event, and Benjamin getting on the side of Hardy and Christian is interesting. I smell something fishy. I'm going to guess a fatal four way at Extreme Rules, though. Good show overall.

May 3rd, 2010 | Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida
We open with a video package that highlights Shane McMahon’s shocking return last week, where he teamed with John Cena to defeat Chris Jericho and WWE Champion Edge. It then showed Mr. McMahon’s announcement that Edge will defend his WWE Title against Shane in a Steel Cage at Extreme Rules!
“Here Comes The Money” is heard as the billion dollar son; Shane McMahon comes down to the ring with a smile on his face. He cuts a promo saying that it feels great to be back in a WWE ring and it felt even better to get some revenge on Edge last week for his heinous attack last year. He admits that he has been hearing the buzz about how he shouldn’t be taking a Title match away from the actual competing Superstars on the Raw roster and honestly, he agrees with that. He is really just in the match for revenge; the belt doesn’t even have to be on the line. But, the revenge will be even sweeter when he takes the one thing Edge loves more than anything else which is the WWE Title. If he wins the belt at Extreme Rules, he promises to immediately vacate the belt and put it up in a Tournament. In fact, he’ll put it up in the King of the Ring Tournament which begins after Extreme Rules. No matter what happens he guarantees that Edge will not be able to walk out of Oakland without the help of EMTs. The theme of our esteemed General Manager, John “Bradshaw” Layfield hits as he comes out to the stage. He says that if Shane McMahon is going to face Edge at Extreme Rules, he should get some in-ring action beforehand. Shane says that he couldn’t agree more and JBL continues by saying that in tonight’s main event, Shane will go one on one with the man he pinned last week, Chris Jericho! Shane likes the idea as we head to commercial.
Commercial Break
Intercontinental Champion Elijah Burke & Kofi Kingston defeated Dolph Ziggler & Matt Hardy The Intercontinental Title picture on Raw has been heating up since the Draft and tonight showed just how good it can be. These four athletes put on a very good show that featured some solid back and forth action. Each man got to shine and hit their signature moves, but in the end, it was Trouble in Paradise for Hardy as Kingston pinned him for the win.
After the match, Dolph Ziggler had an intense stare down with Elijah Burke and he shouted something about the Intercontinental Title.
Commercial Break
Ashley Valance is now backstage with Divas Champion Maryse. She asks Maryse if she’s worried about the number one contender’s match between Mickie James and Michelle McCool later tonight. Maryse says that she is the longest reigning Divas Champion for a reason. She’s beaten every Diva they have thrown her way. In fact, not only has she already beaten McCool, but she defeated James just eight days ago at Backlash. She looks at Ashley and says that she can have a shot at the Title if she wants. Ashley is taken aback and says that she’s not a wrestler. Maryse attacks her anyway and keeps beating on her until security pulls her away.
We are now joined by John Cena as the crowd goes wild. He gets in the ring and says that he came out here tonight for one reason and one reason only. He saw that last week, Chris Jericho admitted that he knew things weren’t over between them and he has never been more correct. He calls Jericho out to the ring. Chris obliges, but only comes to the stage. He demands to know what Cena wants because he has to get ready for his match and doesn’t want to bother with him. Cena says that he won’t take up too much time and he challenges Jericho to a match at Extreme Rules. Jericho wants to know why he should give Cena another chance. Cena says that at Backlash, Jericho played a good game of cat and mouse, but he wants to face Jericho in a match where he can’t run. Jericho says fine, he’ll prove that he can beat Cena in any and all kinds of matches. Cena says that he will allow the General Manager to choose the stipulation later tonight. Jericho agrees, but says that after he beats him at Extreme Rules, he wants to be done with him.
Commercial Break
Michelle McCool vs. Mickie James ends in a No Contest With this match involving two of the best in-ring Divas on the WWE roster, it turned out to be great by Divas standards. McCool really showed off her new physical style as she was nailing James with stiff shots. James fought back with some fire but as she was setting up for the Mick Kick, she was blindsided by an attack from the Divas Champion.
Maryse picked James up and hit the French Kiss. As McCool got up, Maryse met her with the French TKO. She stood tall over her fallen possible challengers, really looking like she’s at the top of her division.
We now cut to see Sheamus in the back, preparing for the next match, where he will face The Undertaker in a first time ever encounter!
Commercial Break
As The Undertaker made his legendary entrance to the ring, he was assaulted by “The Celtic Warrior”! Sheamus beat on The Undertaker with a lead pipe in the back. He continued the attack with several more blows to The Undertaker’s back. Some officials ran out but Sheamus leveled them as well. He went under the ring and retrieved a shovel. He was about to nail The Undertaker with it when JBL appeared on the titantron, shouting for Sheamus to stop. He tells Sheamus that no matter how much of an impact he wants to make, he can’t just assault referees and security. If he wants an issue with The Undertaker that’s fine, but leave it to just The Undertaker. Sheamus smirks and begins to walk away. He looks back and The Undertaker attempts his trademark sit up, but is too hurt to fully get up. Sheamus laughs as The Undertaker falls back down and we cut to commercial.
Commercial Break
The Jung Dragons w/ Jamie Noble defeated Brian Kendrick & Paul London This series of three very good matches finished here tonight with the new team of Yoshi Tatsu and Jimmy Yang getting the big win. While this wasn’t the strongest of the three matches it was still very good and featured a lot of respect based action. Yang picked up the three after nailing London with Yang Time.
After the match, the two teams once again shook hands, but this was halted as two men with long braided hair entered the ring and leveled them. Michael Cole announced that he recognized the men as the sons of former WWE star Rikishi. Their names are Jimmy & Jules Uso and they just took out these two teams. They hit each of the four men with some impressive double team moves and posed in the ring. It looks like Raw’s tag team division is heating up.
Commercial Break
We return to see John “Bradshaw” Layfield in his office. In steps Chris Jericho and he demands to know what stipulation he’s chosen for his match with John Cena at Extreme Rules. JBL agrees with Cena that Jericho ran for most of the match and he’d like to prevent that from happening this time around. The best match for that is usually a Steel Cage, but with Edge already meeting Shane in a Cage, he’s had to come up with another idea. So, at Extreme Rules, Chris Jericho will face John Cena in a Dog Collar match. Jericho is livid as he storms out of the room.
Josh Matthews is now shown standing by with the WWE Champion, Edge. He asks Edge if he’ll be keeping a close eye on tonight’s main event. Edge calls Matthews an idiot because it’s obvious he’ll be watching. He needs to see how much lasting damage his attack on Shane last year did. He wants to see if Shane can still go or if he’ll be lacking out there. Regardless though, he’ll make sure that Shane McMahon is the one who can’t physically walk out of Oakland.
Commercial Break
The man who attacked MVP last week appears with an impressive ring entrance. He comes out of the back of a limousine and has fireworks as he comes down the ramp. He gets in the ring and introduces himself as Alberto Del Rio. He explains that his attack on MVP was simply a way of getting rid of the wrong type of people in the WWE. While he has come from riches and the fabulous life, MVP was raised in gangs and spent some time in prison. People like him need to be gone from the WWE because it should be populated with people like Del Rio. He’s better than MVP for many reasons, just like he’s better than the rest of the WWE roster. He started proving it last week and he’ll continue right now.
Alberto Del Rio defeated Evan Bourne Del Rio truly impressed in his first contest as he put on a show along with Bourne. He focused on working over Bourne’s arm throughout the contest and it worked to set up his Armbar finisher. Bourne fought it off twice but couldn’t do it a third time. Del Rio got frustrated but managed to hold it together and lock in the Armbar, forcing Bourne to tap out.
We now see Shane McMahon shadow boxing backstage, preparing for his main event match, coming up next!
Commercial Break
Edge comes down to the ring with the WWE Title draped on his shoulder and he gets on commentary.
Shane McMahon defeated Chris Jericho via Disqualification Shane McMahon looked sloppy at times in this match, which can be expected since he hasn’t had any real one on one action in nearly a year. Jericho, of course, helped him along and was really the key to this match being any good. After some pretty decent back and forth action, Shane climbed to the top for his Leap of Faith elbow drop. Instead though, Edge jumped up from his seat at the commentator’s table and knocked Shane off.
Edge then entered the ring and began to stomp on Shane. Jericho joined in on the beating when he got up, but John Cena rushed out to the ring to help, with a chain in hand. He leveled Jericho in the back with it, giving us a preview for their upcoming Dog Collar match. Edge nailed him though and that allowed Jericho to begin to whip Cena with the chair. Edge then took the chain and grated it across Shane’s face, causing him to bleed as the show finished.

-For some reason, Shane McMahon vs. Chris Jericho seems really awesome. Good promo none the less. -Good showcase of the mid-card and Kofi and Burke winning here is fine either way. -A good promo between Cena and Jericho. Wonder what kind of match it'll be. -Maryse beating two potential challengers is cool. Expecting maybe a Triple Threat now. -I like that Yoshi is finally getting a push here. Hope they can make a run at the titles. -MVP and Del Rio could have a nice feud. MVP's feuds always seem to go to his run in prison. Hope MVP gets a good run in this one though. -Shane winning was expected as he needs all the hype he can get since it's obvious he won't win the WWE Championship. A Dog Collar Match? Wow. That's a rare one. -Good show; a realistic one. Extreme Rules looks to be a good one.

WWE SmackDown: Friday 30th April 2010...Christian in the ring first is nice, decent promo to be interrupted by Shelton Benjamin interludes us into what should be a decent match. Main event worthy? It'd seem quite weak to me. The Dudebusters beating the South Beach Party Boys is nice, more experience on Trent Barreta and Curt Hawkins. Wonder why Caylen Croft is doing the managing. Again, hopefully we see the Hart Trilogy overcome the Dudebusters and retain the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships at Extreme Rules. Interested in what the stipulation will be though. Drew Gallows beating JTG is acceptable, Gallows is hopefully built up more acceptable than in real life. Randy Orton's promo on Jeff Hardy was nice, great bout between Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton, Rey with the win was indeed a surprise. Perhaps could have hurt Orton's vibe and momentum. It WAS clean and didn't relate to Orton's current storyline well. Cody Rhodes and Jack Swagger is a nice team, swear I've seen this tag team bout before in this diary. Goldust taking the loss helped Tyler Black a fair bit. Liking this divas Elimination Chase going on, it's quite original but obvious, wonder why it was never thought of. Alicia Fox out first was the rightful decision. Lastly, weak main event that simply advanced Christian and Shelton Benjamin's business with Jeff Hardy. Didn't do a whole lot for me, would have had Orton against Mysterio on as the main event personally.
WWE RAW: Monday 3rd May 2010...Shane McMahon to kick off the show is the best, just to put over his feud with Edge, the King of the Ring tournament should be quite good after Extreme Rules, nice to reveal that here. Elijah Burke and Kofi Kingston overcoming Dolph Ziggler and Mat Hardy is a fine way to kick off the show, not fond of Hardy being here, hopefully he remains out of the way of Ziggler and Burke's WWE Intercontinental Championship feud. John Cena's promo was nice, I feel this could have been better as the first-hour main event though. Just to propel the Cena and Chris Jericho feud, which hopefully ends at Extreme Rules. Can't really see anything new coming from this feud. Michelle McCool and Mickie James going to a no contest was unexpected, makes sense and does well for Maryse's character, though. The Undertaker's attack from Sheamus was lovely, just really makes us ready for an Extreme Rules tipoff, and hopefully it doesn't end at Extreme Rules. This is something extremely new, Sheamus is a potential future WrestleMania challenge for Undertaker, hopefully you stretch this and use it for its full potential. The Jung Dragons beating Paul London and Brian Kendrick, again I'm not so sure about this on RAW. The two teams are excellent talent, but they'd have been wasted on this program. The Usos debuting is fine, but another three-way situation set up, after the Maryse/McCool/James fiasco. MVP's promo was nice, Alberto Del Rio interrupting and debuting...I feel the debut could have been prepared better. It's still a nice way to debut him, just maybe not right now. And on RAW. Del Rio I feel having a match should have been better hyped and not gone immediately after a storyline-progressing promo like that. Also didn't do well for Evan Bourne. Wish you hadn't gone with the Cross-armbreaker as his finisher, either. Shane McMahon and Chris Jericho wouldn't have gone the best of main events, good show too. I'm not sure of how you keep mixing Shane and Edge's feud with Chris Jericho and Cena's feud though, it doesn't help the individuality of programs. A decent episode though, perhaps could have revamped my interest in this what was a fading out diary.

RAW: - I get what you were trying to do with the opening segment but I'm still not sold on the idea of Shane challenging for the WWE title. I like the feud itself but I don't like the idea of missing out on a legit title match. - Opening tag match is a good way of pushing the IC title scene forward. Ziggler/ Burke could be a solid match in the future. - Good showing from Maryse here. - Sheamus taking out Undertaker certainly makes his message and helps put him over. I can see a big time feud coming out of this. - Good tag match and a nice appearance by the Uso's although I do think bulking up the tag division is odd since you've only got one set of tag titles. - Cena vs. Jericho in a dog collar match is certainly interesting, and definitely not PG. - Good debut win for Del Rio, looking forward to seeing what you do with him. - A pretty lacklustre main event, I don't overly mind Shane taking up ring time but he shouldn't be taking up the main event without a partner to carry him.

ECW begins with a video package focusing on Ezekiel Jackson’s promo where he said that nobody will take the ECW Championship from him. While he’s talking we are shown clips of last week’s bout between Kaval & Carlito, as well as the class Bryan Danielson/John Morrison match.
Theodore Long makes his way to the ring as ECW’s esteemed General Manager will be making his presence felt to kick things off. He starts by reminding the audience of his announcement that Ezekiel Jackson will be defending his Title at Extreme Rules in an Extreme Rules match. Now, he has thought long and hard over the past week on whom is deserving of an ECW Title shot. He watched a lot of footage from the most recent editions of ECW and has come up with his official decision. Before he can make the announcement, Ezekiel Jackson’s theme hits as we are joined by the mammoth ECW Champion. He gets in the ring and tells Theodore Long that the person he has chosen isn’t just getting an ECW Title shot. He’s picking someone to be thrown to the wolves and whoever he chooses just may have to go on the injured list following Extreme Rules. Long says that he’s confident that the man he picked can more than hold his own with Jackson. The man he chose defeated Bryan Danielson last week in one of the best matches in recent memory. That man is none other than former ECW Champion, John Morrison! The crowd goes nuts at this announcement, while Jackson just walks off, not seeming to be bothered by this news. As Jackson’s leaving, Long informs him that he’ll be in tonight’s main event, teaming with Carlito to take on John Morrison and Kaval!
Commercial Break
Bryan Danielson defeated Drew McIntyre via Disqualification This was a very good choice for an opener as Danielson truly got the best out of McIntyre here. He bent and twisted McIntyre into multiple submissions, but each time, McIntyre managed to reach the ropes. He then took some control by nailing some of his signature moves. Near the end though, Danielson attempted to lock in the Cattle Mutilation, but McIntyre broke free and rushed to the outside. Danielson went to meet him with a suicide dive, but McIntyre had a steel chair ready and he leveled Danielson as he came flying.
The crowd was in shock at the gruesome chair shot we just witnessed and McIntyre had a sick look on his face. He slowly left up the ramp as officials came down to check on Danielson.
Commercial Break
We return to see Charlie Haas in his locker room backstage. He is not in wrestling gear and he seems to be watching the show on a monitor. A knock is heard and in steps Joe Hennig. He tells Haas that since he got to ECW he has sort of changed his outlook on things. He respects Haas as a competitor, feels that he was a great partner last week and will be a great opponent in their quests for the Television Title. Haas thanks him for the words and wishes him the best of luck in their next attempts at the belt.
Wade Barrett defeated Val Venis The highly anticipated debut of Wade Barrett lived up to the hype. He worked a solid contest with Venis and surprisingly, this was no squash. Barrett did get in the majority of the offense though and picked up the victory after hitting what the announcers called the Wasteland.
After the match Barrett grabbed the microphone and said that what we all just witnessed was the start of a takeover of the ECW brand. He plans on doing everything that one man can do in ECW, followed by taking over Raw and Smackdown as well. He will start by running rampant over anyone who dares to get in his way.
Commercial Break
Ashley Valance is now standing by with John Morrison. She asks him his thoughts about getting the ECW Title shot. He says that getting an ECW Title is always a great honor, but he does realize the huge challenge in front of him, which is to defeat a monster like Ezekiel Jackson. Regardless of that roadblock, he claims to have worked harder than anybody to get where he is and the ECW Title is the next step for him.
Television Champion Zack Ryder w/ Courtney defeated Primo in a non-title match Primo has continued to put on some solid mid-card matches since his arrival in ECW and tonight was no different. Ryder, meanwhile, continues to impress during his Title reign and has really developed past being a comedic character. This contest featured plenty of high flying back and forth action and Primo made the mistake of missing a cross body to cost him the match. Once he got up, he was hit with the Zack Attack for the 1-2-3.
After the match, Theodore Long appears on the titantron. He’s in the office along with both Charlie Haas and Joe Hennig. Long announces that Zack Ryder will be defending his Television Title next week and because he ruined the number one contender’s match two weeks ago, he will face both of the men from that match. So next week, it will be Zack Ryder vs. Charlie Haas vs. Joe Hennig! Ryder freaks out in the ring as Courtney tries to calm him down.
We now see the ECW Champion, Ezekiel Jackson walking towards the arena because our tag team main event is coming up next!
Commercial Break
Kaval & John Morrison defeated Carlito & ECW Champion Ezekiel Jackson Jackson really showed off his dominance in our main event as he worked over both Kaval and Morrison and tossed them around the ring as if they were rag dolls. Carlito was frustrated though as Jackson seemed to not be interested in tagging out. Eventually, Carlito tagged himself in, which pissed off Ezekiel. With Carlito in, the faces evened things out. Near the end, Carlito got into trouble, and went to tag Jackson, who just got off the apron. Carlito turned around into a Moonlight Drive from Morrison to end it.
After the match, Ezekiel just left up the ramp with his belt as the faces celebrated. The announcers questioned if Jackson cares about anything but himself and the ECW Title.

-I really hope Morrison can pull out the ECW Championship. A decent main event looks to be in store tonight. -A brutal way to end it with a mid-air chair shot. Danielson winning this way is a good way to advance the feud. -Wade Barrett winning his debut match was expected. -Zack Ryder over Primo was the right call, glad someone pushes Ryder. -Kaval and John Morrison over Carlito and Jackson is good. Some good hype. -Solid show.

ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 4th May 2010...Decent opening promo with Theodore Long's decision for Extreme Rules being cut off by the arrival of Ezekiel Jackson. Was a nice promo, looking forward to this main event. John Morrison and Zeke, I'm not sure if the chemistry will be all there, even if it's an Extreme Rules match. Can't see Morrison taking the ECW Championship anyway. Bryan Danielson and Drew McIntyre is another match that would be sort of hard to determine if they would be able to click or not. I'm not sure, but it was an interesting finish, helped McIntyre out more than Danielson I'd say, which is best. If McIntyre had bowed to Danielson, it would have damaged McIntyre. Charlie Haas and Joe Hennig both seem to be after the WWE Television Championship. Could be a fun team or competition. Wade Barrett in his debut, hopefully he isn't rushed to the WWE Television or ECW Championship pictures. Nice Val Venis had offense, you did contradict yourself a little in the match writeup 'quite competitive match, but Barrett had the majority of offense'. Zack Ryder beating Primo...well, it was a nice effort by Primo. Hope Primo doesn't lose steam at all. Ryder with Haas and Hennig next week should be interesting, but I figure with the triple threat stipulation, we're expecting a new champion. Kaval and John Morrison is a cool team, beating Carlito and Ezekiel Jackson was best. I think Zeke needs a manager or mouthpiece, personally. A decent episode really, basic progression.

- Fantastic starting promo. I love seeing Jackson as a dominant champion but JoMo as champ is great too. I can't wait to see the outcome of this. - A Danielson/McIntyre feud is great too. We're going to see some classic matches out of this. - I see either Haas or Hennig turning heel in their pursuit of the belt. I hope neither of them takes it because Ryder deserves it more imo. Make the two a tag team and see where they go from there. - Barrett being given a push straight from the off is good. The guy is a future world champion and deserves it. - I can see Hennig or Haas going for the pin and it being broken up by the other and one of them turns heel by hitting each other followed by a Ryder roll-up for the cheap victory. - Good main event. Right call for the Morrison and Kaval victory. I like the ending with the announcers questioning Zeke's morality.

We open to a video of last week’s main event between Christian and Shelton Benjamin where the winner would advance to face Jeff Hardy for the World Heavyweight Title at Extreme Rules. It shows how the Straight Edge Society interrupted the match and caused a no contest.
To kick tonight’s broadcast off; we are joined by CM Punk and the Straight Edge Society. They have grins on their faces as they enter the ring. Punk begins to talk about Backlash. He says that on that night he didn’t win the World Heavyweight Title, but he does not see it as a failure because he was not pinned. That is why he was rather ticked off when Christian and Shelton Benjamin were involved in the number one contender’s match last week. Once again, the WWE attempted to screw him out of what he deserves because of his straight edge lifestyle. He says that he continues to give the WWE Universe proof of this, yet they still don’t believe him and cheer for him. He is cut off by the World Champion himself, Jeff Hardy. Jeff stays at the top of the ramp and says that once again he’s tired of listening to CM Punk whine and complain. Last week, he was attacked by all four members of the Straight Edge Society, yet he didn’t cry about it. He just got even at the end of the show. Surprisingly, we are now joined by Stephanie McMahon. She stands next to Jeff and says that with Vickie Guerrero busy at the moment waiting for Edge’s arrival, she will make the announcement regarding the number one contender. She says that all three candidates make good points and it was a tough decision. In the end, it was decided that at Extreme Rules, Jeff Hardy will defend his World Heavyweight Title against Christian, CM Punk and Shelton Benjamin in a Fatal Four Way match! But, since it will be at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view she added a stipulation to it. It will be in a special match type that all four men have won and had experience in. It will be a Ladder Match! The crowd goes nuts for this announcement and Stephanie puts the cherry on top by announcing that tonight’s main event will be CM Punk & Shelton Benjamin taking on Jeff Hardy & Christian in a tag team match!
Commercial Break
Vickie Guerrero is shown in parking lot, awaiting the arrival of her boyfriend, Edge. A limo pulls up and out steps the WWE Champion himself, making a special appearance on Smackdown tonight. He kisses Vickie and they walk into the arena together.
United States Championship: Jack Swagger [c] defeated Tyler Black Black evoked his rematch clause right here tonight on Smackdown and put up one hell of a fight. This was actually better than their Backlash encounter as they now have better chemistry. Black came close several times, with the Buckle Bomb and Paroxysm, but Swagger managed to kick out both times. Black then surprised everyone by kicking out of the Gutwrench Powerbomb, but Swagger wrapped up the win when he latched on an Ankle Lock, forcing Black to tap out.
Edge and Vickie enter the General Managers’ office and Stephanie looks at Edge in disgust. She tells him that her brother will rip him apart at Extreme Rules but tonight she wants to see him lose on her show. He tells her that no matter who she puts in his way, he’ll take them down because that’s what Champions do.
Commercial Break
The Hart Trilogy defeated The Dudebusters & Alicia Fox w/ Trent Baretta It seems like the Dudebusters have adopted the Freebird rule of using a random mix of their three members during tag matches. Tonight though, Alicia Fox proved to be team’s downfall as it was her who took the loss by tapping out to Natalya Neidhart’s Sharpshooter. The interactions throughout the match between The Dudebusters and The Hart Trilogy were great though and should set up for one hell of a match at Extreme Rules.
Speaking of Extreme Rules, as The Dudebusters are leaving, Curt Hawkins gets a microphone. He says that they’ve chosen the stipulation for their Tag Team Title match at Extreme Rules. They’re going to prove that they can beat the Hart Trilogy anytime and anywhere because their match will be held under Falls Count Anywhere rules!
Commercial Break
Josh Matthews is standing by with “The Viper” Randy Orton. He asks Orton about how he’s going to turn things around as he’s in the midst of a losing streak. Orton, who started the promo with his head down, slowly looks up at Josh. He doesn’t say anything and just walks off with a straight face. Josh is left standing there, looking rather disturbed.
The theme of the WWE Champion hits, as Edge makes his way to the ring. The Raw superstar, making a special appearance tonight, gets on the microphone. He says that the only reason he agreed to show up here tonight was because of Vickie. He hated his time on Smackdown last year as it led to nothing but disappointment for him. Since he got to Raw, he’s won the WWE Title, defeated his brother at WrestleMania and in a few weeks, will once again put an end to Shane McMahon. He dares Stephanie to find someone in his league right now. After some tense seconds, Rey Mysterio makes his way down the ring and Edge doesn’t look happy at all.
WWE Champion Edge defeated Rey Mysterio in a non-title match We haven’t witnessed this match since early 2008, but these two didn’t miss a beat when it came to chemistry. They know each other very well and it led to multiple reversals. Rey picked up two big near falls and got the crowd on their feet when he connected with the 619! He covered but Edge managed to just get a shoulder up. He got on the apron and went for the West Coast Pop, only to be met with a mid-air Spear, allowing Edge to get the win.
Commercial Break
We return to see Rey Mysterio just starting to get up from the devious Spear he took before the break. Suddenly, Randy Orton slithers into the ring from the crowd and hits Rey with an RKO. He has a sick look in his eyes as he begins to stalk Rey for the Punt. Before he can connect though, security rushes down and takes Rey out of the ring. Orton grabs a microphone and says that if we think we’ve seen the worst from him, we are sorely mistaken. He has never been this close to fully snapping and he will not rest until he’s back on track. Rey will learn that his fluke win last week was the worst thing that could’ve ever happened to him.
Commercial Break
Divas Elimination Chase: April Lee & Gail Kim defeated Beth Phoenix Much like last week, Lee and Kim worked together as a cohesive unit. It failed early on as Beth was just too strong and dominating and she really looked like she was on her way to advancing. A flurry of offense from Lee and Kim combined, capped off with the Eat Defeat, put “The Glamazon” down for good.
Despite working together, when Lee offered Kim a post match handshake, Kim just walked off, leaving her flustered.
We now see Shelton Benjamin in his locker room preparing for the main event. Christian enters and tells him that despite their differences, he appreciates the side he was on during last week’s post main event rumble. Shelton says that he wasn’t on Christian and Jeff’s side, he just wasn’t on Punk’s side. He doesn’t like any of the guys he’s going to face at Extreme Rules and they’re all going to hate him when he walks out of Oakland with the World Heavyweight Title that is rightfully still his. He then tells Christian to leave, and Christian obliges, but not before telling Shelton that he has his back if he needs it. After Christian leaves, Shelton looks on thoughtfully at his last comment.
Commercial Break
The South Beach Party Boys are shown in the back and they seem to be having an actual party. Also present is JTG, Kelly Kelly and R-Truth. Their party is crashed when Drew Gallows, Joey Matthews and Serena Mancini enter the scene. Gallows tells Darren Young and Percy Watson that they have no reason to party considering they lost last week. Young says that there is always a reason to party because their life is a party. Watson tells Gallows that he should loosen up and have fun for once. Gallows gives a small laugh and says that he had fun beating JTG last week. JTG takes offense to this, but Gallows says that they’re just passing through to challenge the South Beach Party Boys to a match next week. Watson and Young accept and the Straight Edge Society leaves.
The Miz defeated Goldust In a backstage interview last week, The Miz stated that 2010 will be the first year in the “Decade of Awesome” and he got off on the right foot tonight. He put on a very solid contest with Goldust as he continues to show improvement, week in and week out. Miz nabbed the victory after planting Goldust with the Skull Crushing Finale.
As Miz left up the ramp celebrating his win, Cody Rhodes ran down the ramp past him. He got in the ring and once again nailed his older brother with the Cross Rhodes. For the second straight week, Cody Rhodes has laid out Goldust and one can only wonder what the reasoning behind this is.
Commercial Break
CM Punk & Shelton Benjamin w/ The Straight Edge Society defeated Christian & World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy If this match was any indication of how good their Ladder Match at Extreme Rules will be, then we are in for a treat. All four men know how to work the tag team style, as they’ve all held Tag Team gold and it made for an even better contest. Benjamin and Punk formed an uneasy alliance, but managed to cut the ring in half and really work over Christian. Captain Charisma eventually made it to tag in Jeff, who came in on absolute fire. He nailed some of his signature moves in a row and had the crowd going nuts. He hooked the legal man, Benjamin, for the Twist of Fate, but Punk ran in and kicked Jeff in the head. He then leveled Christian, knocking him off the apron. Jeff was dazed and out on his feet after the kick to the head, and Shelton took advantage by connecting with Paydirt for the win.
Punk quickly hoists Benjamin onto his shoulders once the match ends. He signals for the GTS, but Shelton wriggles free and connects with Paydirt! He looks around at Christian, Hardy and Punk all laid out and he smiles. Not only does he stand tall in his home state, but Shelton Benjamin has also pinned the World Heavyweight Champion tonight!

WWE SmackDown: Friday 7th May 2010...Decent opening promo with CM Punk in the ring, Jeff Hardy obviously interrupting. Interested with this fatal four-way match at Extreme Rules, as it mixes up the competition and increases a chance of Shelton Benjamin or Christian surprising us and becoming World Heavyweight Champion. But I hope that doesn't happen. Should be focused between Punk and Jeff Hardy, really. With the Straight Edge Society, it would be great to see Punk leave with the belt. It would aid his cult leader persona so well. Jack Swagger retaining the WWE United States Championship from Tyler Black was expected, hopefully Swagger has a lengthy and decent reign. Also hoping that all of Swagger's feuds are not focused on Swagger having the Ankle Lock. The Hart Trilogy beating the Dudebusters and Alicia Fox was acceptable, do like the Freebird Rule in succession. If the Dudebuster trio did become WWE Unified Tag Team Champions, I would expect them to follow this order. Edge's promo was nice, but I find his appearance really showed that SmackDown is lacking some star power. It's good to see Rey Mysterio so many times, but he's really just showing the good match quality, first-hour main event front on SmackDown. He's not doing much of note, but the potential of a feud with Randy Orton could be good. Edge beating Mysterio was the right call, being he is WWE Champion. I just feel like Mysterio should be in the weak main event scene. April Lee and Gail Kim surviving the Divas Elimination Chase...I wish Beth Phoenix had made it, really. Interesting combination though. Liked Kim just leaving Lee alone in the ring. Showed a jealous side of Kim perhaps. The South Beach Party Boys were sort've shown as fools with the Straight Edge Society. Are they trying to recruit JTG perhaps? The Miz beating Goldust, I think we've seen before in this diary. Miz on the run up, but how can be keep being built up with such one-dimensional midcard scene? Cody Rhodes' feud with Goldust is interesting. Good main event win for Punk and Benjamin against Christian and Hardy, Benjamin standing tall was a little far fetched to me. A decent show, but the main event scene on SmackDown is quite weak, really. Good progression to Extreme Rules.
