-- There was a online rumor going around a few months ago saying former WWE flop Nathan Jones had signed a contract with TNA. Meanwhile, Jones was injured in an automobile accident and had nerve damage in his arm as he was hit by a cement truck while training for his United States return to wrestling. Jones has indeed signed a contract with TNA and is scheduled to start at next month's Genesis pay-per-view or shortly after. More than likely, he won't be booked in matches right away.
-- Japanese star Akira Raijin, who was recently signed to a contract, is coming in under the name Kiyoshi. He is doing a Great Muta gimmick. His TNA ring name changed several times in planning.
-- Speaking of Kiyoshi, Scott D'Amore accompanied him for his debut on Impact tonight. He is not however, back with the company. He was backstage at the taping and TNA tossed him on camera for Kiyoshi's segment. D'Amore remains on good terms with TNA after leaving the company a few months ago.

It wouldn't be the first time TNA tried it.

Nathan Jones? Really? What's he going to do, team with Matt Morgan?

Nathan Jones? Really? What's he going to do, team with Matt Morgan? Pretty much my thoughts. And I really wish D'Amore would come back and book TNA. When he was there, TNA's booking was by far at its best.

Akira Raijin debuting tonight should be good. Although, I still don't understand why he's in the X title picture.

tbh akira is a quiet guy (till he has a few guinness) so the mask gimmick works perfectly for him.

I think signing Jones is a big waste, They should sign some younger guys with true talent Plus I found a match with Akira Raijin in, for those who want to see- uk.youtube.com/watch?v=rYzKNlq00io

When he was there, TNA's booking was by far at its best. Haha, I could see that. I wouldn't put it past them. Jones? Ugh! More 'E' leftovers. TNA needs to hire so more young unknowns. That's what TNA was based on...seems like they've really lose that since the tv deal. It's a shame really. I agree. D'Amore a million times better than Russo!

And when TNA signed "young unknown" in Consquences Creed this fourm wouldn't shut up complaining about it - TNA can't win over anyone because you can't make up your freakin' mind what you want..
