So once the new year starts, there's going to be a few more people inducted into the Hall of Fame. This time, what we want to do is give everybody a chance to nominate people to get into the HOF. Ultimately Trace and I will decide who gets in from the pool of nominees.
We'll leave this open until it looks like everyone is done, so go ahead and begin.

I was going to pm you guys about this on a later date closer to Superbrawl, but its all good.
I nominate the following:
Reverend Shadow (possibly Cecil Castor, thus putting the Holocaust in the HOF)
Tha CBT Obo Chris Avalon Dr Macabre
Los Hobos as a tag team (Obo, Percy, Ashley as the main ones, but Thunder should get a plaque for it)
Possibly Justin Tyme and Johnny Arsenic, so ATM can get into the damn thing. Maybe Ganador, Jade, and Black Widow

I know I'm still fairly new here, but I'd give my vote to Tha CBT.

Wayne McGurk. He was as good as anyone else. Why he didn't win more I'll never know.
And yeah, Obo and CBT for his amazing rants that went no where.

I think the most deserving guy is Trent Draven, for sure.
The only other real legitimate contenders would be maybe Reverend Shadow and CBT I'd say.

I might be alone in thinking it but we could just not bother putting anyone in at this time, maybe wait tell half way through next year for it.
But anyway to keep with naming people now I guess Los Hobos for the tag team part of the HOF.
Jade and Black Widow for, along with Meg, being the life blood of the women's division when we had one and they were both solid RP'ers.
Wayne McGurk just for being a good RP'er and interesting to read, plus I think he kept the fed going for a decent while.

Meg's already in... I don't really understand why we're doing this when really the last year has been so slow it hasn't even been a year rp wise. The only ones I can think of is cbt trent, wayne who still rps so shouldn't even be thought of. And rev, even though I don' t like the guy that much.

How would you put Meg in for helping the Women's Division without putting in Jennifer, who was better than every other woman RPer other than Lenore and maybe BadAssDiva? Or were you not around when Jennifer was? I forget when you came in with your original gimmick. Again, I think that question sort of defines the issue of the HOF right there. You generally have people who were around earlier but aren't around anymore and don't follow the fed, or people who've been around recently but didn't follow the fed from the beginning. I always felt the best thing to do would be to have like, a panel of about five guys ranging from people who were around in the beginning (at this point, I'm the only one left), to guys who came in a little bit later but were still around for a lot of early stuff (FLAPS, EBR, a few others), and so on. That way you end up getting a balance of nominess and stuff. |}c: Moustache.

CBT, Rev, McGurk, Obo, Draven, or Lee. Any of them would be a great addition.

Not sure if I was around when Jennifer was or not, the name rings a slight bell with the fed but it could just be one people mentioned, unless she had a sig or avatar that would stick out in the memory, like Frosts Hitler, I can't honestly remember. As for Meg I didn't vote to put her in she's already in but my point was that when we had the last women's title/division going Black Widow, Jade and Meg were basically the ones turning into something with pretty good stories and RP's so out of the options there are I think Widow and Jade would be decent picks to go in. I think the panel idea is good when it comes to picking who goes in next, either that or as I said before I don't think it would be too big a deal to leave it another few months tell the fed is in full swing once again before trying to decide on HOF entries.

Here is something I did last year when the HOF selection came around, I asked specifically Alex Sean, EBR, and a couple other people that was around before my time to throw out some people names.
So I think in the pre-2005 era, Alex, E, and anyone else should each give a list to Thunder and Trace so people like Jennifer can have a fair chance at the HOF and preserve history.

The only ones I can think of is cbt trent, wayne who still rps so shouldn't even be thought of. And rev, even though I don' t like the guy that much. I don't know why I'm quoting you, I just am. I'll say I agree with your comment about Rev.... I mean, you bring the guy up out of the gutter with Higher Authority, groom him for a world title run as well as co-exist with him as an owner and he forgets who you are just as soon as you leave for college. Seriously though, I wanted to say two things. #1 and I mean this honestly, Mike a.k.a. Wayne McGurk is the only RPer outside of Kyzer who I imagine is in that can RP and that takes nothing away from him getting the nod. His roleplays to me deliver a story anyone can enjoy and I'd almost say better than Kyzer in that respect. I can't praise Mike enough. He's like the first live event for a life-long wrestling fan. He's what gets you hooked, as he opens doors to unfamilar places with an almost overly simple and easy approach that you just never really noticed. #2 of the two things I wanted to say, incase you forgot this isn't all about Mike. I like Mike, but let's praise me. I truly appreciate the nods, I hope some of those are for my roleplays and not just my rants. heh I'm gonna share the love, but I do wanna say thanks. If I do get the entry, I'll consider that a fair trade for no World title or Superbrawl Main Event. Did I mention I never once got a world title shot? My 10 (yes 10!) nominees for athe WFWF Slammy Hall of Fame are: - Obo - Hey, I'm not gonna give him a long-ass write-up, nor am I going to omit what he's done. Give him the spot, I mean we gave HellRaizer one. - Reverend Shadow - No write up for him either. I liked teaming with EBR more than him. I'm not bitter. - Wayne McGurk - I gave him a spiel. No write up for him too. Although I'll say, it'd be a crying shame if he doesn't get in and a year from now Thunder and Kurt are gone as well as Kat. The Axis/Revolution is a stable that should go in, just not while any one of them is actively rping. - Jade - I'm almost certain she was my favorite female of the old days of female rpers/wrestlers being cool in the WFWF. Didn't she face Michaels at One Hellish Night? - Calvin Lee - He's not gonna be top of the class, but it's just the way **** is. Lee did a whole lot before he came to WFWF and has worked hard to improve, even though you can tell when he could have did better. Still, he's stuck to his guns and had some good moments over the years, it's just a case where he was a star from another fed who had scattered success but success that can't be determined by championships. - Miguel Sanchez - the haters. That's my boy, and I think the short time he had as The Sinner showed some tremendous promise but probably just a case of what was hot at the time. Every RPer has a favorite that isn't gonna be the new generations fancy. - Macabre - I don't know why but I've always had him pictured as what the results of a unsanitary hooker would give birth to when her birth control pills run out and she gets cornered in a dark alley by Wayne McGurk, 'The Man of the Hour' Josh, and ZMaster. I'm sure he'd love to hear that if he actually was to ever read it. Before I move on, let me say, I don't know why ZMaster would be in a dark alley looking for tail. - Justin Tyme - Just about as popular as a Miguel Sanchez vote. You know, the guy who once was known as the Dark Match Messiah or something, now I've got a man whose highlights consist of teaming with Johnny Arsenic, losing to me in a title match, losing to me in a non-title match, and defending his belt twice in the same night... a belt which he's still never explained how he won. - Evan Bronze - Until I die or stop posting on this forum, I'll never let Evan Bronze be forgoten. He helped me learn the premise of a roleplay, and for that he deserves the nod. - Trent Draven - Simply put, I got him at his worst and I still lost. He's that good. Seriously though I didn't get to see a lot of his work, but he is from my generation and I trust in Al so that'd save me the awkwardness of nominating 9.
