18-1 in Career, current Welterweight Champion, title defenses over Sanchez, Fitch, GSP (beat him for title and rematch), Koscheck (only person to beat me, rematch went to round 5 before i got the ko), Alves, and Hughes, also on 10 fight win streak. Pretty decent, no? What should be fixed in 10: CAF, ability to have stats from regular CAF copied instead of relive DOR hell, better regulation of exhibition title matches (just putting it five rounds is technically a title match, no matter who), make ground game a tad simpler, make submission struggle better and easier (rotating the stick is freaking crazy, difficult button pattern who be better (list of buttons pop on screen, first to complete gets advantage), BETTER DISTRIBUTION OF STATS/MORE EQUALITY WHY THE HELL IS BJ PENN THE MOST POWERFUL GUY IN THE GAME I don't think button combos would be a good addition. It takes away from having to be good at the game to where you'd only have to be good at pushing buttons in patterens. Also it would render the fact that your submission struggle relies partially on stamina useless. I just wish that they could make it more skill oriented as far as stand up goes. I guess it's fine at times but i hate how easy it is to get knocked out by button mashers.

Something I would think would be cool in the next game instead of earning a video for classic fights if you earned trunks that matched the trunks they wore in the fight you just recreated. It would be neat to have had Forrest and Stephan in the TUF finale trunks and had added trunks for all of the other fighters. I would like to be able to move up or down 1 weight class in career mode and be able to take on other fighters after you have won your weight classes title and defended it so many times.

But really, I get what your saying about the submission thing, just there should be more of a balance between stamina loss when doing submissions, its unfair sometimes how much you lose quickly when your opponent always has one of those 'reverse everything moments' and you find yourself screwed. I just really want a better way to do and get out of submissions. THey rely on the right stick too much, I dont want to wear it out because they claim simply moving it clockwise works for technical (and does at times), but brute strength escape is the most rediculous thing in a fighting game.

Just got this game today. Got it at like 6 and it's now nearly 12 and I just turned it off. I didn't even realize 6 hours passed. I was playing with my friend for a while, then by myself. I love how it's challenging, yet not frustrating. Great game.

Just had an awesome fight this morning that ended with a decision. That was the first time that's ever happened for me. It was Nogueria (me) vs. Herring and I won it with a unanimous decision 29-28 for all three rounds.
Also had a 14 second K.O. with Lesnar this morning too.

The only fights I ever get to decision are fights I have to basically force to decision by taking the fight to the ground and just making sure not to knock out my opponent. I had to do it for the classic fights and did it once in a 5 round title fight which is pretty hard to do as by the fifth round shots to the gut can knock a person down. In the 5 round fight I won by unanimous decision 50-42 on all three cards.

The most bad ass fight I've had this far was Chuck Liddell (me) vs. Forrest Griffin (my friend). I ran at him and hit him. One hit KO. It was awesome.
Also, I can't seem to beat Yushin Okami. Cause he always gets me on the mount. Any tips? (I know I'm not that great at the game).

Just keep working on those transitions, and try to pick a BJJ guy when facing anyone skilled on the ground. BJJ guys have sick reversals, plus rubber guard is almost unfair if you get comfortable with it. If you can utilize rubber guard well, all it takes is two motions to end up in mount. Pretty damn sweet.
The practice mode is a great help- start off with the opponent doing nothing so you can work on getting the precise movements down, then switch up the AI so that he keeps trying to mount you or reverse you. Eventually you'll get it.

And if you're fighting him in Career, if your reach is better, use it to your advantage, keep him to where you can hit him easily, but be far away enough so that he'll miss the takedown, and if you get caught in a double (don't know how to sprawl single legs) leg takedown rotate the stick to get in a spawl but not LB (or L1?) and stick, that'll keep you in the position, just stay off the ground if possible, I had the same problem with Kos. It'll also help if you build your stamina and cardio more often than strength, but don't completely overlook it

I was 16-5 in my first career when I got my first crack at the LHW title, and I was 14-3 in my current career when I was rewarded a MW Title shot.

I was 8-0-0, won the title to go to 9-0-0 and then got to 13-0-0 with the title win and 4 defenses. I decided to make a new one in the Heavyweight division and I want a fight against Brandon Vera. He just looks like a guy I wanna kick the sh*t out of. UPDATE before posted: YES!!! Got a choice between him, Kongo and Hardonk for UFN 31. I'm going to kick the crap out of him. All of my fights (5, maybe 6-0-0) have been won via KO (Headkick).

In my third career and am getting a lot better and am able to keep up on the ground in most fights and am able to get the fight back to the feet. I have also gotten better at ending fights quickly as in this career I have a 15 sec. fight and a 19 sec. fight both of which weirdly won not only KO of the night but also fight of the night. How can a fight that last less then 20 sec. be the best fight of the night especially when the loser doesn't land any major blows at all?
