Oh man I was fighting Tim Sylvia and towards the end of the first round he knocked me down and locked on a submission. I thought it was over but luckily was saved by the end of the round. Second round I walked in and knocked him out. That was tough.... lol. However the second time I fought him I hit him down and got on top I kept hitting him until his eyes rolled into the back of head. AWESOME. Nothing like seeing the replay and seeing that you knocked your opponent the F*** out.

My biggest gripe with this game is that they didn't scan everyone's body. Take a look at Spencer Fisher's character model and look at Tiago Alves's. He looks like a CAF. James's Irvin is only recongnizable by his tatoos as well. Not a big deal but you can tell who they scanned and who they just created likenesses of within the game.

Yeah, a lot of them they pretty much just created C-A-Fs and just modeled their head onto it.

I have more of a problem with the missing attires. It's sad to see Tito and Shogun looking so generic.

Still loving this game. Tim Sylvia is an absolute tank his punches are greatness.
Also got a 12 second knockout with Penn, Sherk come out swinging and i nailed him with an uppercut.

I love that the video playing during the credits at the end of career mode is out of sync with the audio.

okay I go 24-2...1 loss to hermes franca (flash knockout) and 1 loss to Nate Diaz (submission). I won 12 in a row at one point, won the title and defended it successfully 8 times in a row. KO of the night against BJ Penn twice, fight of the night with Sean Sherk, Submission of the night against Kenny Florian.. WHY DID I NOT END UP IN THE HALL OF FAME  anyone here make it to the hall of fame can you tell me how you did it. |

Were you forced to retire? I think you have to be to get in the HOF, I may very well be wrong though.

I tried playing this online. Man does the game glitch for me. It also sucks when I am at level one and the only other person online is at like level 20. He just dominates me  To break out of submissions you just toggle the right stick? |

There is absolutely nothing fun about playing 6 matches and being destroyed in all 6 matches by people 20 levels higher than you. |

I'm lucky I'm absolutely not an online gamer. The only time I play online is if I know the person in some facet or it's a game that relies on no talent or my fine tuned abilities for 15 years like racing. I have games that I love that I've never once touched online for, and that's their main selling point.

I finally got my copy today and spent about 4 hours in career mode.
My CAF's record stands at 11-4-0. All 11 wins came by KO or TKO, and I lost 3 fights by KO and 1 by Submission.

I try the technical break and then just beating on the guy, but as soon as one's started to get locked on, I know for a fact it's over. I only have the demo, but I doubt that'd matter. Anyone have any tips on breaking out of them? |

All I do is rotate the  out of the right thumbstick, and it ends up working about 80% of the time. |

I I break out of submissions/not get tackles to the ground....
I move my left hand in a way that makes it easy to twirl the right thumb stick...while my right thumb mashes the buttons. Not many people EVER really get a take-down when I do that as Brock..or anyone really..

If you're getting you're ass kicked online, just practice more. It's an in Depth fighting game, plus....you're the one choosing who you fight, you can easily back out. I'm at level 60 something online
