Someone mention in a previous post of mine that they heard of Ricky Steamboat getting his rights back and JAKKS currently working on his Classic Figure. Any news on that?
Also, does anyone know if Jeremy was giving contact info on Hercules and Dino Bravo? I believe I heard something about it.

Doesn't Ricky Steamboat work for the WWE anyways? Who had his rights?

Quite awhile ago someone on this forum said they were in contact with Dino Bravo's daughter and had passed along their contact info to Jakks. Nothing ever came of it.
I hope Ricky Steamboat is a grand finale of sorts for the end of the CS line, but I kind of think if we were ever to get him it would have been announced by now.
Call me cynical but with the way Jeremy has deserted these boards and the corners that Jakks has been cutting...if there is any new and exciting CS signings I will **** in my hat and hold it.
Please Jakks...prove me wrong.

The member everyone is talking about was The Natural I believe. He had a avatar of Butch Reed. I havent seen him around in awhile but I hope Steamboat gets signed eventually

I was the one, who gave the phone number of Dino's widow, by his nephew, and it's been 3 months, and Jeremy never contacted her. I don't know, if he wants to keep this information for the TNA Classic series or that WWE don't want to do nothing with Bravo. A bunch of wrestlers died in a bizarre way and they have their figure, why its not the same thing with Dino ?

Its very surprising that none of these guys were signed along with Butch Reed and a few others. I remember a while back Ricky Steamboat, Steve Keirn and Brad Armstrong went to the Jakks offices I know Armstrong and Keirn were signed but never heard anything about Steamboat.

There are so many holes in this line with guys like Bravo, Steamboat, Savage, Von Erich, Hercules and a host of others missing... I would have killed for a complete 80´s line up but I guess that Jeremy has filled all remaining spots with repaints to save money and to milk this great product while they still can. I am so glad that those ******** at Jakks lost their license :-) Everybody´s afraid that the situation can get worse with Mattel but be honest - we´re living in the year 2008 and can it get even worse than mixing up the colors of the hair with one of the most decorated tag teams in history, making totally out of scale figures, giving a **** for detail, saving on knee pads, lying around to shut up customers or putting out collector´s (!) figures with totally idiotic accessories?

I think figures with awful distribution and terrible quality control that fall apart right out of the package and usually have incorrect parts are worse Do you really think Jakks would rather have Tank Abbott in there instead of the guys you listed? In most cases like those the decision is out of their hands

I was the guy who talked with Steamboat when Cyber Sunday was in Phoenix. He said that he has gotten the rights to his name back and a CS figure was in the works. He was very excited to have been asked about that.
