To explain...The Shelley/Sabin matched seemed a little too choreographed by the speed of their counter-acting moves. It was so damn boring. I was just hoping one of them would finally get pinned to end the damn thing! Finally...THE END OF MMG, AND THEIR DAMN TERRIBLE ENTRANCE MUSIC! If anything, it was the counter-acting that made me like the match more. It reminded me of how Low Ki and Amazing Red used to be in their matches in 2002. And yes, their theme is awful. I liked their old one more. For me, moreso was when Jarrett took the Olympic Slam off the stage and Angle goes through the table, leaving Jarrett to go straight to the floor. Abyss needs to be the one pushed, not Morgan. Morgan has stunk up in his performances for months.

The PPV sounded alright. Angle/Jarrett sounded awesome, and even better perhaps than their first encounter.
Shelley winning the x division title is well deserved considering he has been in TNA for quite a while.
Beer Money winning was surprising considering they just recently lost the belts. I guess it was just a quick way to establish Creed/Lethal as a tag team.
I don't get what was with all that stuff about Rhino being attacked, only for him to still be in the match.
There must have been a better replacement somewhere than Kip James. I mean hell, even have Sting pull double duty. Or, MEM could have taken out D-Von, making it Steiner & Booker vs. Sting & Styles, which is a much better match anyway.

Heard it was a terrible ppv except 2 matches, doesn't suprise me...

Putting Kip James in the main event was a slap in the face to the fans. It's like buying WrestleMania for SCSA vs. Hogan and getting Hogan vs. Charlie "Stone Cold" Haas.
I know Nash was out, but seriously putting Kip in that match did more damage than if they had given no replacement.

I'm slightly disappointed that Creed & Lethal lost the tag titles. Beer Money have become really stale and I was looking forward to the titles being off them for a while.

If you hate it so much, why don't you just turn it off? That is what you always tell everyone else. Because I actually A.) Paid for the showB.) Enjoyed the match other than Kip being in it/talking in the middle. Why do you think you are the only TNA fan on the boards and the only one that would pay $30 to see a show? You are certainly not the only one who pays for it. Just because someone is not really that into a show, does not mean they should just turn it off. It is more than reasonable to wait it out and see what else is going to happen. Some PPVS are not very good but the last match makes up for it. Stop telling everyone to turn off the tv when they do not agree with something TNA did. This is a forum to discuss opinions. A lot of opinions sided with the fact that last night was a waste of time and money with the except to a couple of matches. That does not mean we had to just turn it off in the middle because we did not like what was going on. Back off.

Again, can someone explain why cornette doesnt hav ethe Authority to restart a match, when he has before, and Foley does. Why not have Foley say, As yoru boss Jim cornette, I'm gonna one up you here and make this a hardcore match! woulda been more sensible and not confusded Cornette's role

Actually stayed up to watch this one live, here are my thoughts: Eric Young, Homicide, and Hernandez vs. Sonjay Dutt, Jimmy Rave, and Kiyoshi An ok match, good way to start the show Chris Sabin vs. Alex Shelley Great match, shame it ended with a rollup! [#1] TNA was on a roll at this point Referee Shane Sewell vs. Sheik Abdul Bashir Meh it was alrite, another stupid rollup though! [#2] Beer Money, Inc. vs. Abyss & Matt Morgan vs. Jay Lethal & Consequences Creed (c) An ok match, glad Beer Money won, hated that they got "screwed" out of the titles, when they're the heels. Was kinda wierd that Matt was KO'd for ages ODB, Roxxi, & Taylor Wilde vs. Rhaka Khan, Raisha Saeed, & Sojourner Bolt Meh, what is there to say about it, Knockout Division is even going downhill. Oh and another rollup!? [#3] Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle Great match, this or Sabin/Shelley was definatly best match of the night. But c'mon! A rollup! [#4!] Sting (c) vs. Rhino What was the point in Rhino being "attacked" and still losing anyway, this match sucked as much as Rhino does. Mick Foley, AJ Styles, & Brother Devon vs. TNA Legends Champion Booker T, Cute Kip, & Scott Steiner Ok so now we have Brother D-Von and Cute Kip in the main event of a PPV. Wow. Great way to start the new year TNA! Kinda stupid the match was stopped and followed by talking before it was just restarted Overall not a good start for TNA this year, I'll give it a 6 out of 10. Could have been so much better. And what was with 50% of the matches ending with a ing rollup!?

Can't wait to see this on Wed although I'm basically watching for Shelley/Sabin. I said I wanted to get back into TNA this year and tape all of the PPV's (like I did in 06) and with Shelley as Champ I'm def intrested. I havn't seen TNA in ages this single handedly will get me to watch TNA again.

I thought MCMG couldve gone on much longer, i hated the ending, cradleshock reversed into sliced bread wouldve been better finish Great comedy moments from Beer Money Loved Angle Jarrett. Dont know about u guys but jeffs bladejob combined with the thud of the ringbell, looked believable I wanted Samoa Joe to be the mem partner but what can u do We gave him cab fair, cos thats the kind of guys we are. I loved that line

The pay per view to me was pretty ok ,Kind of mediocre. The only matches I like were Shelly/Sabin and Jarret/Angle.Now To me ,the crowd play a big role in this because they had a pretty good reaction to it all like they we're not like other crowds and just like got bored when they didnt see just a spot fest ,They liked the good technical wrestling matches .it seemed to me.The Main event was ok but it should have been the first main event and the way That the title match was set up, It should have been Rhino winnin the belt in my opinon but I really didnt give a hoot about the Title match,The Jarret/Angle match was acually way better than I expected ,They are pulling some great matches as of late So as Of now My verdict to the PPV is 7-1/2 Out of 1o

Idk now that I look back it wasn't a great PPV but it was enjoyable at times. Jarrett vs. Angle as others have stated was awesome as well as Shelly vs. Sabin. The main event was "ok" as others have said. Once again I was really dissapointed that Kip was added in the Main Event. Another thing with Foley talking about how "hardcore" he was gonna be I was quite suprised he didn't do some sort of spot (not that I could see him doing it at his age) but I mean with the way he kept talking off being hardcore I thought something was gonna happen.

That whole PPV was shaky from the start. I think all of the injuries really put a damper on how the show was supposed to go. It felt like it was being booked on the fly. That being said I think they did a pretty good job holding it together. It wasn't great but it wasn't completely awful and the crowd seemed to stay pretty hot for the action.
The Angle/Jarrett match was very good. At least better than their first in my opinion. I'm sure we will get more of these in the future.
The tag team title match was pretty decent overall. About what I expected.
Last but not least Sabin/Shelley was a good match. I didn't have any problem with the two of them starting out slowly. It helped build the match. Also if Shelley really had the flu as i've seen reported he did a good job gutting it out. I'm glad TNA finally put gold around Shelley's waist. Hopefully this will turn in to a full blown feud between the two of them. I never really liked the Machine Guns anyway. It has the potential to be a very exciting feud. Don't stand too close to any barber shop windows Jannetty err..... I mean Sabin.
The rest of the PPV was pretty much just there or just trash. The womens match was terrible. Sting/Rhino was a tie for worst of the night with the six man tag. Did Foley forget how to use a chair?
I give the whole show about a 5.5. For three hours of my time and thirty of my hard earned dollars. I think that is being generous. Still it was a pretty disappointing show.
Hopefully they can get these injuries under control and get back on track. After reading the spoilers for Impact i'm really looking forward to Thursday.

Just a very quick review
- Hernandez of the LAX won an elimination tag team match = I thought that this match was put together nicely and it was a good way to put Hernandez over for when he faces Sting for the Title soon.
- Alex Shelley def. Chris Sabin to become the new X Division Champion= well I was expecting a great match but it was amazing! This match was the show stealer for sure. From the beginning to the end it was just back a force action. This match is what true wrestling is all about!
- Shane Sewell def. Sheik Abdul Bashir= this was a fun match and was a Little better that what I was expecting but It could of had some better spots put into it.
- Beer Money def. Abyss/Matt Morgan & Jay Lethal/Consequences Creed to regain the TNA World Tag Team Titles= this was a sweet match and It's good to see BM back as champs. (Even though I like Jay & Creed as champs)
- ODB won a Knockouts Tag Team Match to earn a Women's Title shot= this was an interesting battle with which had kind of sloppy moments, but It was a diserpointing to not have seen Hemme and Kong.
- Kurt Angle def. Jeff Jarrett in a bloody and violent epic= I loved how this match went and had amazing spots and a refreshing battle up the stage.
- Sting def. Rhino to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Title= this match was good but it did not really seem like a title match but still it was ok.
- Mick Foley, AJ Styles & Brother Devon def. Booker T, Scott Steiner and Kip James when Foley beat Steiner= I think Kip did a good job of filling in the boots for Nash. This match was good but it got really better once it went hardcore. Loved the spots in this one and glad Foley got the win.
I think this was a good ppv to start the year off and this PPV has been rated by me as 7/10
