I want Sting to continue his streak and want shelley to win also. I hope that Sting would eventually drop the strap to AJ even though I know that match was at Turning Point.

TNA News: TNA heavily discounting tickets for Sunday's PPV with three ticket offers by James Caldwell, Assistant editor Jan 5, 2009 - 3:57:28 PM - Printer Friendly Page
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TNA is strongly encouraging fans in the Charlotte, N.C. area to attend Sunday night's "Genesis" PPV at the Bojangles Coliseum, to the point of publicizing three special discount ticket offers to see Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett in-person.
Considering WWE just ran house shows after the Christmas break in Charlotte and Greensboro, TNA has to fight for those last remaining entertainment dollars from Carolina wrestling fans.
One of TNA's ticket offers is targeted for kids, where an adult can buy a full-price ticket and children under the age of 12 will pay $5 per ticket.
Listeners to the John Boy & Billy morning radio show on 99.7 FM or NASCAR Hard Card holders can pick up $10 off a full-price ticket, with floor seats still available in the JBB offer on ticketmaster.com.

i'm really not a fan of abyss/morgan and am waiting for the obvious feud that will end their companionship.

- Just use the code "Sting" via ticketmaster.com and you will be able to get free tickets to Sunday's TNA PPV Genesis. Ticket sales have been poor from the start but must be really bad as this is the first time TNA has given away free tickets online for an event away from Orlando.

Not really impressed with this final card as a whole. Nothing outside of Angle-Jarrett (which is great) looks too impressive. Rhino in a world title match? Pass. The six-man tag is alright, but D-Von certainly brings it down, and it is something that can be done on TV. Kong-Hemme is fine, and unless Hemme is going to win the belt with this stipulation, the lumberjacks being there serves no purpose. Shelley-Sabin is decent. That tag title match is alright but in the end it's sad to see what the tag team division has come to with three teams that were randomly thrown together battling it out for the straps. I miss the old days of LAX, 3D, AMW, Naturals, etc. battling it out. And the Bashir match is a joke.

Aside from his like one month Elite Guard stint in 2004, when Hernandez came back to TNA, him and Homicide have been a team since. 3D has been, and still is a team. Naturals were always a team in TNA. On the other hand, Roode was in Team Canada and by himself while Storm was from another tag team. Morgan is another ex-WWE reject paired with "the new" Abyss because neither had anything to do. And TNA just stuck Lethal & Creed together because they both had nothing to do, are quick, and have dark skin. Compared to 04-06, this tag team division is pathetic.

AMW/LAX was thrown together Harris & Storm both have said it before they was just put together and made it work. LAX was first Machette and Homicide then Hernandez came into play. Also, Creed/Lethal are both apart of the Frontline - there's your reason. Every tag team is "thrown together" - if not.. they wouldn't be a tag team. It's not like were born a tag team.

I know LAX & AMW were thrown together. However, AMW was an established team in TNA for years by the time they got on Spike TV. And I know Machette was in LAX first, but Hernandez & Homicide were a team right when Hernandez joined TNA for his first real stint.
And with Creed/Lethal, I don't really watch so I can't comment on the Frontline part. But from what I have read in the past, it doesn't sound like they play a big role that much in the big picture. And plus, being part of a huge faction war doesn't automatically make you a tag team anyway. If Kevin Nash & Booker T became a tag team because they're in the MEM, that'd be dumb as well. The real reason is because they both have dark skin, athletic, and without any singles direction.

Do you guys think this PPV is worth ordering? Reason being I wanna see Jarrett vs. Angle 2, and I really wanna see Foley return. Just wondering if you guys thought that it was worth the $30 price tag.

I'm not going to get this show but I am looking foward to the outcome. Of course as you can see by the sig i'm looking most foward to Shelley in the X Division Championship match.

Just wondering if you guys thought that it was worth the $30 price tag. Honestly, no. I'd pay $10 alone for Angle-Jarrett, even though I know there's a 90% chance of interference. But everything other than Sting-Rhino (which isn't a great title match anyway) would be done on TV. Honestly, besides Wrestlemania (and maybe Rumble/Summerslam), nothing wrestling related these days seems worth $30 to order.

CHRISTY HEMME INJURED: UNABLE TO COMPETE THIS SUNDAY AT "GENESIS"
TNAwrestling.com has learned that Christy Hemme has sustained a neck injury while training in the ring with AJ Styles for Sunday's Women's Championship match.
According to TNA officials, Hemme will be unable to compete at "Genesis" against Awesome Kong.
Unfortunately, her injury will require surgery and she will be out of action for an undetermined amount of time.
On Sunday, TNA Management Director Jim Cornette will name a replacement to face Kong for the Women's Championship.
Everyone at TNA wishes Christy all the best and we will certainly update fans on her condition as we learn more information.

I haven't watched TNA in like a year, I have always been an avid fan of the Machine Guns though, Now i notice that one of them will win the X-Division Title? Awesomeness, I might have to start watching again.

Did anybody else get a text about an 8 man elimination match? Eric Young, Shark Boy and LAX vs Cute Kip, Raven and Kiyos
Not sure who the 4th guy is on team 2. My guess on Kiyos is "the not so great muta" and since when has Raven remained with TNA? I thought he left the company?

From TNA Mobile:
"Just added to the TNA Genesis PPV event tonight at 8PM ET/5PM PT: 8-Man Elim! Eric Young/Shark Boy/LAX vs. Cute Kip/Raven/Kiyoshi
Raven back in TNA! But this seems weird from TNA, what's happening with the Tag Title Match and why is there only three opponents in the 'heel' side?
