BACK IN THE 90S did you ever look at WCW s being the white trash redneck bunch of wrestling and WWF was more high classed
I mean the fans of wcw eerked the crapout of me, just rednecks
where as wwf had a different class of people that i enjoyed.

I agree with you, saying WWF fans were 'higher class' I thought that too. WCW fans remindind me of 'Cheap'

i started watching wrestling in 2000/2001 and considered WCW to be the B league and really they had very little in the way of fans by that point.
i wouldn't say the wwf was exactly 'classier' especially once russo's trailer park demographic hit it's peak, but they always had a more big-time feel.

Maybe in the early 90's but by the late 90's it seemed to be about the same audience. Then right before it folded it went back I'd say.
I did always notice that the WWF crowd seem to be more alive and by the late 90's they encourage them to act that way. Meanwhile in WCW the crowds were pretty dull most of the time especially compared to the average WWF one.
Its like I only saw ECW fans as out of their mind alcoholics or drug users.

i looked at wwf as the land of kids and wcw as the place for older fans - a lot of them being pretty weird as wrestling attracts quite the crowd. there was a lot of older people as well, grandmothers and such, but that's died out now.

To me Eric Bischoff has a bit of a redneck side to him.

Fans were pretty much the same, except for WCW having a lot of kids in the audience at the Disney Studio taping. I wouldn't call the WWF ones more classy by any means.

Neither really. Wrestling in general in the late 80s and Early 90s was seen as a lower/lower middle class "sport". Ive watched wrestling for well over 25 years and Ive seen tank tops and old dirty jeans in The Omni for a WCW event and Ive seen tank tops and old dirty jeans at MSG for WWF. Honestly I think WWF camera men were either instructed to not film the lower class looking people or WWF ticket prices were so high that only an upper class family could sit on the first few rows. I remember going to a WCW event in 1993-1994 and paying $15 for a ringside seat.

well you always gotta remember that WWF historically toured the northern terrirtories, whereas WCW controlled the southern areas - so typically you'd see the more "redneck" sort of fan in WCW shows - hence why alot of wrestlers (e.g. HHH) would mock WCW by pronouncing it as "DUBYA CEE DUBYA" or as "world championship wrasslin'"

Nah, I saw both companies live numerous times and the fans were pretty much cut from the same mold.

WCW always had this Sports league kind of feel to it in a way, specially since most Wrestlers didn't have time to develop characters and have legit storylines in a way, you'd just see Wrestlers go out and have a match. Unlike the WWF at the time who were keen on developing the Characters and Having promos ect.. moreso than the Wrestling itself. But late 90's I think WWF took a more serious approach to Wrestling and showed that apart from Storylines and Characters they can deliver in the ring.

Isn't it because WCW were more southern style?
