Wow, that card that you posted, makes TNA's booking look phenomenal.

You can all say how bad it is, but the fact of the matter is, it is most likely true.
What other direction does WWE have to go in at this point? They've backed themselves into a corner with the JBL/HBK storyline. Its quite apparent to me that the Taker/HBK thing isn't happening.
Cena has no one to face, Orton has nothing to do. The Smackdown title situation is a joke.
Wrestlemania has little to no chance of shaping up to be a solid card.

It's the 25th Anniversary, I highly doubt WWE will put on such a bad card. The more that I think about it.

This may be the first time in years that I don't decide to order WrestleMania. I hope that they decide to switch things up again because the one I'm looking at now is absolutely horrible.

I'm gonna throw my predictions out there:
WWE Title Match Triple H v. Edge (c) Reason: It's obvious Jeff isn't retaining at the Rumble and since WWE is goin for Edge/Hardy at Rumble, it's almost certain Triple H is in the title match at Mania. I'd hate to see Triple H win the title again, because his last reign lasted near a year. I hope Edge would win, but knowing Trips pull, he probably won't.
World Title Match Orton v. Cena (c) Reason: We all know Batista was supposed to face Cena but that obviously isn't happening. I know this fued has been overdone, but if it means that Orton will win the title, then Im all for it. Plus their matches together were usually great.
Chris Jericho v. The Undertaker Reason: It's never been done, and it would be godly. It would be just as good or, god forbid better than Michaels/Taker.
No Holds Barred Match JBL v. Shawn Michaels Reason: Shawn can't take JBL's constant demandng and realizes that pride is worth more than money. This forces JBL/HBK at Mania.
Grudge Match Jeff Hardy v. Christian Reason: We all know what the story would be, by all the reports, thus this match taking place at Mania.
Money In The Bank V CM Punk v. Kofi v. Kane v. Morrison v. Bourne (if healthy, otherwise.... The Miz) v. MVP v. Kennedy v. Shelton
WWE Women's Title Match Kelly Kelly v. Beth Phoenix (c) w/ Santino Marella Reason: She's supposedly the next cover girl of PB and that usually sets up a match at Mania for the covergirl
David v. Goliath Rey Mysterio v. The Big Show Reason: This would be a match of biblical proportions. David v. Goliath 09. Personally, with Big Show being in some of the best shape, now is the perfect time to have this match.
ECW Title Match Umaga v. Matt Hardy Reason: Umaga wins a tourney or Battle Royal for the ECW title. The big man deserves a major title, and this would be a great way to start this guy out on his wa to the WWE Title.

I'm hoping for the 'big 4' matches to be Cena/Orton, Austin/Jericho, Edge/'Taker/Hunter, HBK/Morrison.

IDK I'd rather have HHH get a good rivalry with Edge and win the title than have edge win the title and have another short run.

Seeing as this is WM25 and everyone subconsciously has been envisioning "Hogan Vs. Austin" type matches all the way down the card theirs no way this ones gonna live up to the "Hype" I think to some extent we've all created in our heads. Honestly I'll be happy as long as Shawn Michaels Doesn't have to face Bradshaw. It seems so cretin thats where their going with it that i'm convinced the feud ends sooner then we think. The only way I would enjoy that match is if Bradshaw wins the title at RR And Michaels goes over him for it at mania for the belt. I'm still 50/50 on weather or not Taker Vs. HBK has been scrapped entirely. As long as Edge, Jeff Hardy, & Triple H have match of the year quality stuff i'll get my moneys worth I guess.

I am, by no means, expecting some monstrous main event that is bigger than Austin/Hogan. I never even thought that match would happen in the first place. What I was expecting, though, was for WWE to put some effort forth and at least give me something I hadn't seen before. Cena/Orton is overdone, its a story that has been told far too many times, there is no fuel left in the fire. Triple H/Edge was ruined by their meeting at Great American Bash. How do you pass off that as a Mania main event when you could see the same thing at one of the smallest events of the year? Wrestlemania is all about big matches. This year, its next to impossible to create any, because they've all been done. WWE backed themselves into a corner with no way out.

This year, its next to impossible to create any, because they've all been done. WWE backed themselves into a corner with no way out. Gotta agree that theirs very few "fresh" match ups in the cards as far as singles matches go. I've been saying it every year sence 22 that i expect a few triple threats and or fatal 4-ways. This years it seems like that may be the only way to do things as it's almost literally the only way to secure a new match. Aside from that those who follow the WM spoilers to the fullest extent every year know that between late november and mid january the "100% current plans" for the top 3-4 matches change something like a dozen times and anyone who sticks with what they believe to be the definitive match list usualy ends up being wrong by WM. That's why I'm not going with HBK vs. JBL just yet as having a better or worse chance then anything else. That said WM usaly provides one of 3 things in all of it's main events. 1. A new "never before scene" match. 2. A New first time world champion. 3. A classic match that can be added to either persons involved greatest hits list (You may not like the people involved in this choice but if your unbiased to things other then the match as a match itself it ends up being a classic match. Triple H Vs. John Cena Comes to mind) If I had to say who i thought the majority of the matches that matter will revolve around i'de have to say Edge, Christian, The hardys, HBK & Taker. And in those 6 people alone theirs plenty of matches ups that haven't been scene in years and were classics.

i wonder what the updated plans are now, since this was first posted at the end of December.
But with all the Wrestlemania references between JBL and HBK, it sure seems very likely that they will face each other this year at Mania. But i do think that JBL beats Cena at the Rumble, and HBK wins the chamber ? Because it makes more sense for HBK to beat JBL for the title. Other than that i would be disappointed.
Now if Cena loses to JBL, this leaves him out of the title picture for Wrestlemania. I think they will bring someone outside of WWE to face Cena, like Austin or Hogan. Im sure they WILL NOT due Orton vs Cena AGAIN.
With Matt Hardy losing his title, i think he will be brought into the whole Edge/Jeff/Christian fued. Perhaps a fatal four way TLC match at Mania for the title?
So we got: HBK/JBL Cena/Hogan Orton/ Austin (rumored) Jeff/Matt/Edge/Christian
HHH and Taker perhaps?

i think:
HBK/JBL - WHC Title Edge/Jeff Hardy/Matt Hardy/Christian - WWE title HHH/Taker Orton/Shane - street fight (Austin could be special referee) Hogan/Cena

I would have Shawn Michaels somehow cost Cena the title this sunday and let JBL win the world title. Shawn Michaels would then win the EC match at No Way Out, setting up JBL vs. Shawn Michaels vs. John Cena at WM. Shawn Michaels would end up winning.
They could book it that JBL tells Shawn that he can keep working for him and help him beat Cena at WM, or Shawn can wrestle the match to win it and be fired by JBL. So Shawn has to win and become world champion, because being world champion means he gets a bigger wage, but if he doesn't win he ends up with no raise from the WWE and no longer has the JBL job, because JBL fired him for wrestling the match and not helping JBL to win.
So the headlines can be "Do or die for HBK... win or work at McDonald's to make ends meet"
