LOL... This place is full of idiots.. I was simply stating that if Baity wants to be remembered as a legend here then he should stay away since his work won't seem as great as it was back in the day, Some people here are just so F***ing stupid that they can't read...... I dont give a crap what you said. Dont tell the man not to psost here he is going to post if he wants to. Your the idiot seriously... Im done arguing.. But saying his new work is nothing compared to what he used to do is obsurd. His sculptures are jus as good as anything he has ever made. I can express my opinion about if I want him to post here or not, just like your saying he should post here...... I never said his new work wasn't as good or even better then his previous work, The last sentence of my previous post fits you to a tee........... |

Wow... Your the biggest ing idiot Ive ever seen on these boards. You arent even a customizer. You couldnt make half the **** this guy can and yet you feel the need to bash him?? Your an idiot.. As for Rozz being the number one customizer on here... I agree with you.. But at a full sculpt I dont think he is much better if at al than Baity. They are both great but just because your love Rozz's work does not mean you can go and tell baity to go away and never post work again. Jesus christ some people these days are just idiots... LOL... You're such a f*cking c*nt it's not even funny. 80% of the "custom figures" and "custom stages, rings, weapons, belts" posted on this board nowadays are pure Chocolate Shark. They would be ripped apart at the old WF and AF forums, and rightfully so, but instead you have all these 12-16 year olds going "OMGZ THATS AWESOME" to some of the most mediocre stuff I've seen in years. To say that Baity's work is dated, and won't hold up to the "very well groomed" customizers of today is bullChocolate Shark, and one of the dumbest things I've ever read. I guess you think Downfall was a flash in the pan, mid-level customizer compared to todays "top breed" of talent too. I swear the longer this board goes the dumber it's elitest, ego stroking members get. It was bad enough 7 years ago and I'm sick of people like you. What the hell have you ever done worth a crap on this or any other customizing board? That's right nothing. You wish you had baity's talent to where you could leave the boards for what 6-7 years and people STILL talk about his work. Customizing today is easy as ever. With the RA, DA molds anything is possible. We had Remco, LJN, Hasbro, BCA, and later on TTL. We had to work to make stuff look good, not just mix and match parts, throw some paint on it, and call it a day. So quit being such a b!tch, and let Baity enjoy his return like he should be able to. |

I commented on Joe but i gotta say AJs abs look unreal so far. I wish I had skills to sculpt like that but my sculpting skills are not great. Getting better but I have a long way to go. although im using aves and the stuff you use prolly has unlimited working time. Wish I could do that stuff, haha.. |

Well I was never a member at AF but I've been a member here since 99 or 2000 (my old ID was wildfire) and your Correct when you say that some people on here claim awesomeness on pieces that are not even good but that is why everyone has a opinion and your 100% right when you say they would have been ripped apart on the "old" wf forum. I never said Baitys work was "dated". I haven't seen a completed piece of his recent work so I have no reason to say that. No I don't think Downfall is/was a mid-level customizer, I never even mentioned Downfall or any other "old school" customizer. Where did I ever say that about Baity either? I haven't done anything worth remembering here or any other customizing board, Never claimed to have been anything great, but I do have a legacy as a wrestling figure guru on ebay and that will be remembered by some people 6-7 years from now...( That was irrelevant but I figured I would put it in there) I fail to agree with you that today is easier then the past if your talking about real customizers/artists (and not fix up people,not that there is anything wrong with fix ups, I do them myself at times) These people are still using existing parts to "make" something new/different, rather it be RA Parts or TTL parts it's still the same.. I think The classic line ruined it for alot of people (atleast it did for me). Baity can enjoy his return all he wan'ts. I never said anything negative (publicly) about him here. I was expressing MY OPINION that Rozz is a better artist and if he wants to be remembered as the "God" here at WF then he should stay away because rather people like it or not there are members here now (that wasn't here 7-8 years ago) that may not be as great as Baity but they would defiantly make Baitys work not look as great as it is remembered as.. I'M NOT SAYING HIS WORK IS DATED!!!!!!...... For any other "long term" (I guess this is measured by 7-8 years)member here you all know just as well as I do that when a good piece of work is showed and someone expresses their opinion in a less then 100% positive light then the post turns into a defense among members claiming that the other persons opinion is wrong and the point of the post (the work) goes 2nd string, that will never change here.... joe looks amazing but his face could be a little fatter around the chin/cheek/neck area Yeah, I kinda noticed his chin being a bit off once I took the pics, thanks for the insight, I'll see what I can do to adjust it. A pair of fresh eyes are always helpful. |

Excellent work, Baity, and it's nice to see you posting at WF once again.
I remember your work from years past and, while I'm not much of a customizer myself, I appreciate the great work of many past and present customizers such as yourself.
I hope you post more often around here and thanks for sharing pics of your new work, as it looks phenomenal (no pun intended) and I'm sure a lot of amateur customizers on WF could learn from you.
Also, in regards to the off-topic discussion in this thread, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but who really cares about leaving some great legacy? It's just a wrestling figure message board, so it's not like you just found the cure for cancer and you want people to remember your existence.
I understand some have bigger egos than others but, seriously, Baity does excellent work and has earned his right to brag every once in a while, whereas merely being a recognized seller on eBay doesn't share NEARLY the same clout.

I was at Rollin's funeral the other day, and I was looking at the Fro and KILL WHITEY sign...and I thought about how Baity had included those in the custom... Yeah, I'm gonna try to slim his wait and hips a bit, he is kinda wide. To everyone, thanks for the comments so far, whether good or bad. I'm sorry some of the thread has gone down "that same old road", but it is, what it is... Yes, everyone has the freedom to feel however they want about anything. I'll tell ya all straight up, my customs were no where near perfect. Oversized full head sculpts, unproportioned anatomy, you name it. No one is as critical as the one that created it. Was my old stuff "overhyped"? I'll be the first to tell ya YES it was!! What's made it worse was the vanishing act I pulled when I moved on. I started customizing figures about 10 years ago and did it for about 3 to 4 years then was done. The best word that comes to mind is " Nostalgia". Good example since we're in a wrestling themed forum would be Hogan's leg drop. As we remember, it was unbeatable back in the day and ya wanted to believe the hype, but when reality sunk in and ya think about it now, for christ sake, it was just a friggen leg drop. |
