$13.97 I would have gotten the Blu-Ray, but this was way too good of a deal to pass up, not to mention I have the first four on standard DVD. The Blu-Ray was $25.97, hardly worth the $12 difference.

Yea the Blu Ray's definitely not worth it for a movie like that. I'm starting to do the same when there's a big enough price difference.

Well, I initally went in to Best Buy with a $5 off coupon just for this $22.99 then I found this on sale for... $17.99. That's cheaper than what I payed for the dvd version months ago. Needless to say, I'm a happy camper.

Finally picked up Transformers on Blu-ray it was on sale for $16.99 then I had a $10 off coupon... so the whole thing cost me $6.99... they also are running a promo that gives you $10 back if you purchased the DVD and Blu-ray versions... so I'll end up paying nothing for the movie and getting $3.01

Since I already own the Blu-Ray, but only for the deleted scence... I bought this today, for my personal DVD collection: And hopefully i'll be able to pick up the soundtrack tomorrow, if it comes out... - Triple S

I acquired the soundtrack today, but will to buy a physical copy very soon as well (if it comes out of course). $5.99 @ Best Buy 'Cuz I found out that my copy was traded in by a friend who "forgot" it was mine...I hope he got a lot of use out of the pennies they gave him for it, haha.

I was surprised because I never saw any ads for it to be on sale. I was looking at the sale sticker things in the Blu-ray aisle and there it was.

Someone please tell me the hype around Repo the Generic Opera. Ok, man. Bored, with free time... so here it goes: Terrance Zdunich and Darren Lynn Bousman ( producer of SAW II-SAW IV ) got together to put Terrance's stage performance into a film. Terrance had been doing small stage performance in blackbox theatres for YEARS, until Darren got involved. Darren loved the thought behind the project and immediately tacked on. Lionsgate picked it up, but refused to put it in theatres because they felt it'd be a major failure and there was no audience for it. They immediately had all intentions of it going straight to DVD. Both Darren and Terrance disagreed and they themselves got it into select theatres. Lionsgate also did no marketing for the film. So Darren and Terrance also did a Repo! Road Tours ( RRT ), where it was shown in theatres... much like Rocky Horror Picture Show. The show ups and fan support was overwhelming and the response was great... so they did a 2nd and 3rd tour for the movie. The movie is a "horror"/sci-fi... ish rock opera. Starring Terrance Zdunich, Alexa Vega ( Spy Kids ), Anthony Stewart Head ( Buffy the Vampire Slayer ), Paul Sorvino ( Goodfellas ), Paris Hilton, Bill Moseley ( Otis: House of 1,000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects ), Ogre ( of Skinny Puppy ) and Sarah Brightman. Heres the synopsis from IMDB: www.imdb.com/title/tt0963194/plotsummaryIt's definitely not for anyone who isn't a fan of musicals... generally a story being told in song. Very visually beautiful and interesting plot. A lot of people don't like the lyrics Terrance wrote for a lot of the songs, but I felt they were catchy and modern. Brightman and Sorvino steal the show in the vocal portion of the film, as they are really the only 2 who get into the OPERA part of it, while the rest don't go past musical. Paris' role in this movie is perfect for her, being as new to the industry as she is. Acting wise, Anthony Head take the cake with his AMAZING performance as Nathan. Comic relief even comes into play with the Largo children: Luigi, Pavi and Amber. Especially between the 2 brothers on "Mark It Up". I'd recommend AT LEAST renting this movie, but even just hearing the songs... I KNEW I had to own this remarkable film. ... hope that helps. - Triple S
