In a football match?
I no i'll get criticized for my choise of teams but here's how I see it. Feel free to post your own teams...
Europe: -------------------------Buffon--------------- --Ramos-----Cannavaro----Nesta-----Zambrotta-- --Ronaldo-----Gerrard-------Gattuso--------Ribery-- -----------------Torres---------David Villa-------------
Rest of the world: --------------------------Kameni-------------------- --Dani Alves---Marquez-------Milito--------Maicon----- --Messi-----Ronaldinho------Maxi Rodriguez--Kaka-- -----------------------Robinho--------------------------- -----------------------Aguero---------------------------
Thats in my opinion remember. Feel free to post your best European/Rest of the world teams. And judge it on the teams you post (or my teams)
I know, Kameni as goalkeeper for Rest of World may be suprising but Dida is past his best and I can't really think of any other good non-European goalkeepers.
Oh and here comes the OMG your bias towards Torres. No, his impact at the Euro's for me warrants his place.
Oh and a few people may be in places not there best, thats the way it is.

Out of your teams, i'd say ROW would edge it.
My squads:
Europe (4-1-2-1-2 formation):
GK - Iker Casillas RB: Sergio Ramos LB: Christian Chivu CB: Fabio Cannavaro CB: John Terry CDM: Daniele De Rossi RM: Cristiano Ronaldo LM: Wesley Sneijder CAM: Francesco Totti ST: David Villa ST: Klass Jan Huntelaar
Rest Of the World (4-4-1-1 Formation):
GK: Julio Cesar RB: Dani Alves LB: Gabriel Heinze CB: Pepe (I know he plays for Portugal, but was born in Brazil) CB: Rafael Marquez RM: Lionel Messi LM: Ronaldinho CM: Michael Essien CM: Kaka CF: Sergio Aguero ST: Didier Drogba

Other than that both teams are probably spot on although I'd have Lampard in the European one.

Only a fool (or a hater), would leave Gerrard out of the European team..

Funny that because John Terry would quite easily be the first choice Defender straight onto the Teamsheet. They'd hardly leave out the FIFA World Defender of the Year.

Yes, because those were the most accurate awards I've ever seen..

Don't be pathetic. You know JT would be straight into that team.

JT is not the best tackler, he is not that good in distribution and he is definatly not the fastest, but for his never give up attitude, his presence and motivation, he would walk in.

LFCfan, you know that Nesta has played like 3 game this season... Same with Gattuso. How can they be the best in Europe? I'm guessing you didn't even know they played so little games.

Gattuso was picked due to 2 things, he was in the European team of he year for 2007, as was Nesta. Gattuso was also pretty good at the Euro's if I remember rightly. And as I said Im not saying thats the best team of European players, I'm saying that's what I picked.

I'm surprised so many of you have left out Mexes, I do rate him quite high. And to be honest, if Terry wasn't the captain, I see no reason as to why he would be in the Europe team, as there are better defenders then him out there but not one who has the mental attributes that he does, if that makes sense.
