it wasnt as bad as 9........ Honestly, I am tired of people bashing WMIX just because Hogan won the title at the end of the show. Big deal he won it. It sent the crowd home happy and being an eight year old Hulkamania at the time, I loved it Going back and watching it today, the matches on that card were pretty solid. I mean, Tatanka/HBK went like 15 minutes of awesome wrestling. Steiners/Headshrinkers was a good old fashion tag-match that had the awesome spot with Rick Steiner catching Samu in mid-air on Fatu's shoulders and power-slamming him. Crush/Doink was short but got its job done. Razo/Backlund was a throw-away match. Hogan/Beefcake vs. Money Inc. was a heck of a tag-match. Luger/Perfect was short but set-up HBK/Perfect Taker/Gonzels wasn't terrible but not good either. Hart/Yoko was awesome especially for a guy Yoko's size. And then Hogan winning the belt from Yoko is THE reason why people say Wm9 was terrible when in fact, Wm11 is the Worst one

The reason 11 sucked wasnt because of the matches but because the atmosphere. Think about it the previous 3 were held at the RCA Dome, Outdoors in Caesars Palace and MSG. The next 3 were held at Anaheim (a rather larger arena), United Center (which Chicago usually has decent crowds) and then in Boston where the crowd was electric. Having WM in the Hartford Civic Center just killed the emotion of wrestlemania.

Tatanka/HBK went like 15 minutes of awesome wrestling. it was pretty good but hardly awesome. shawn wasn't anywhere near the level he reached a year later. and this match had a screwjob finish at frickin wrestlemania. this match was as interesting as watching paint dry as was most of the steiners wwf run. if it's job was sucking then yes, it got it done. seriously, multiple doinks? Yeah, that's always a good sign at Wrestlemania. it sucked, badly. set-up a horribly disapointing match at SummerSlam, right. it was terrible. through sheer will-power bret made it into a pretty good match, but the ending (both yoko winning and then hogan winning) blew. wm 9 sucked, big time.

But 11, was worse. 1 and 13 are also dismal.

Yeah WM 11 was bad. I actually loved WM 9 and WM 13 was ok. HBK vs. Diesel was probably the best match on the card, but that wasn't even grand. My personal favorite memory from WM 11 was Owen finally winnign WWF gold.

Did anyone also notice that the jackknife at the end of the main event looked bad? Shawn landed on his feet almost.

I happen to like WM 11, seeing as it was my second-ever live event. Personally, it had a few highlights for me... Owen Hart's first title win, as he surprised everyone with Yokozuna; Roddy Piper (my first favorite wrestler) as guest ref for Bret-Backlund; and it was my first real chance to see the major stars live (Bret, Hall, Nash, Undertaker, etc...).
I respect everyone's opinion, but I can't speak bad about this PPV.

He was a heel with crowd in the palm of his hands that night. He had the crowd booing Diesel and cheering Michaels. Those two things kinda contradict each other. If he had the crowd cheering him and booing his babyface opponent, he wasn't doing that good a job as a heel.

Bret SAYS just for the disclamir first HBK had Deisal kick out of his supe kick so he could say to Vince SEE THEY WANT ME TO BE THE CHAMP! But again this is coming from Bret so take it by the grain of salt

shawn was doing an awful job of being a heel against diesel. he made himself sympathic by not backing down at all from big diesel and as a result they cheered for him instead of the already faltering diesel. shawn basically screwed over his supposed best friend and made nash a really lame face champion with two guys in bret and shawn who were already more over than him.

I think all the recent WM's were worse, same ol crap They do seem to be getting dull. I'm so sick of MITB matches. I'm sorry it isn't cool anymore and it is totally played out now. It doesn't help that the amount of hype for Mania is just a bit bigger than the regular ppvs which is sad.
