 January 8th, 2009On Thursday night, TNA Wrestling returns to SpikeTV with two hours of Total Nonstop Action, just days before the "Genesis" Pay-Per-View epic event! TNAwrestling.com has learned that more matches for "Gensis" will be announced on the broadcast! In addition, the following matches are scheduled to take place:  - Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle will face Jeff Jarett's longtime ally, BG James - Speaking of Angle, the Main Event Mafia plan to speak out about "Genesis" and Mick Foley's announcement that he is returning to the ring at the Pay-Per-View event! Both Mick Foley and TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett will be in attendance on Thursday night, so who knows what chaos could potentially erupt on the broadcast! - The X Division Championship Tournament continues with another semifinal featuring Alex Shelley taking on Eric Young. The finals to crown a new champion will take place at "Genesis" on January 11.  - One-half of the TNA World Tag Team Champions, Robert Roode of Beer Money, will battle "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan - TNA Women's Champion Awesome Kong will be in action All this and much more on Thursday's new iMPACT! broadcast on SpikeTV starting at 9pm ET Credit: TNAWrestling.comThe Official iMPACT! Angle vs BG James, sure works with the storyline but while that match is on I'd rather watch porn, but I'll still watch it incase I miss a classic beatdown.
Shelley vs Young, should be a good match but I can already tell the outcome, and thats no fun.
Morgan vs Roode, meh, sounds crap but I'll watch it.
Awesome Kong, please make it a 2 min match, I hate the Knockout Division.

Not to be anti-TNA but TNA is getting worse and worse. I think Shane Sewel (sp?) and his Hulking up is lame as  . I don't have any desire to see a retired road agent fight the best wrestler in the Main Event Mafia and Morgan vs Roode is just not a match I wanna see on the painfully long road, finally coming to a close that we call Genesis. This is painful to watch, is there any knockouts matches? How about Lethal? What beside BG-Angle and Roode-Morgan is set for action because those 2 matches have me set to tune out. |

Random, but something that has bothered me about Impact for months and no one mentions is how whenever they do a crowd shot before going to a backstage segment, the crowd shots are all completely recycled (you can tell by seeing posters for PPVs from months ago. The oldest I usually see is Lockdown lately.)
