I just noticed something wrong with the banners... Where is the date of the show and the logo for the show along with stips for certain matches? EDIT: I whipped one up for my match and I want to know what you all think...  That's pretty good but why is everything you ever make so damn dark? |

You don't need dates or promotional work when they're going to be in a post that lists the date and event...
Besides, mine were slim and tasteful. With all due respect, your example is enormous. To fit ten of those on a page would require hours of scrolling just to find your PPV banner.

Mine look professional-ish... What if someone not from this fed looked at the sigs? They would be wondering what the name of the PPV is or when the PPV is... just some food for thought. Plus, I drew inspiration from another fed who made really swanky banners for there PPV, the size didn't hurt it at all...  You look at that in someone's sig and you see right away: The name of the Pay Per View The date of the Pay Per View Who is participating in the match What the stipulation is for the match How awesome the person who made it is at Photoshop When I compare something like ^ to  It makes me question just how great Alex's graphics are... Now I'm not saying your banners are completely unadultarated crap... I'm just saying... they are missing some parts... |

Actually, if someone from another site looked at that sig they'd probably first wonder why it's the size of a wall scroll, then if they had taste they'd notice your fonts have no consistancy nor do your colors or even the general size of the people in the picture. Or, to explain further, you've got Mankind in one scale then Jason Statham in another and so on. That looks unprofessional. Even moreso is when you compromise and just use the first PSDs you can find on some web-site or just cut the first picture you find. I mean, none of those four guys have even a shred of similar lighting, contract, or coloration. It looks like a graphic that was thrown together. It takes the touch of someone who's been doing this for years (like myself) to make those things match, or at least someone with exceptional skill (like myself). What you need to work on is overall consistancy between your graphics. You have no color scheme on your poster, it's all just dark and grey and bland, and your cuts are out of scale or coloration with each other. Seriously, don't criticize my work when you produce something like that.  |

But to be frank... your graphics are tacky... I have been doing this for a while (not long but long enough to know I can do better) So let's look at things like this... On the show where I got that graphic (CWF Unrestricted V which is there equivalent to our Superbrawl) it happened to be a 10 match card and it didn't take forever to scroll through. If you had exceptional skill you would be able to churn something out a little bit better then what you did. At first I was like everyone else and was all "That is so amazing, you are just the best at this" Then I took a second to stop and think... I can do better then this... so That is what I did. I get the idea that you don't understand what you mean by color scheme... one look at the cluttered backgrounds for your graphics would tell me that. Where you got the idea that my fonts have no consistency is beyond me... I think you are just pulling crap out of the air to attempt to criticize it. The images are in perfect scale with each other... I think you just need to get your eyes checked. Your images look tacky and faded on the Superbrawl posters. Turn up the opacity because it just looks... how do you say, stupid?
Say I am someone completely new to the forum, never posted once here ever before. I go to the WWE board and I see someone with one of these in someone's sigs... Now I would have no idea what the hell these butt ugly banners were for. When you think about it, they aren't really all that big and sometime's bigger MAY be better. Instead you leave off important information and make an extremely tacky banner. I would have perfered it if somewhere on there, there was a SuperBrawl logo, the date of the show and if it had the Background that Drakz made...
In comparisson, your banners is something I would expect from oh say... TNA, maybe RoH... that's how the craftsmenship is. the CWF Unrestricted banner are comparible to WWE in craftsmenship... The people in CWF ALWAYS churn out better graphics then us and it's a shame really... But I guess we will have to settle for lack luster match banners...

I could write a long reply bashing your opinion, but hey, considering most everyone here is satisfied with my work, as am I of course, I'd rather just allow the majority to rule here. Let's be real; You can slap a few Photoshop Brushes together and throw on a PSD made by a web-site and some fonts you downloaded but you lack the creativity, taste, and overall general ability to make good graphics. It's not my fault you're bad, maybe it's your parents. Maybe your lack of talent is hereditary. I'd look into that. |

If I lack the general ability to make good graphics then why is it that I am getting compliments for graphics jobs I do from a government committe? How am I a sore loser? I pointed out good points, my banners are simply put better then yours... you don't have to believe it because your biased to your own work and the others don't have to believe it because most can't do better but I know for a fact that if I compared it ANYWHERE else, people would pick mine over yours because yours looks like a 5 year old kid took several different colored crayons, scribbled on a background, found some PSD's slapped them on there and got some fonts that you downloaded or someone downloaded from somewhere... you criticize me for that but you do the same thing. That picture of BC Place, not a PSD... that American flag in the background, not a brush or a PSD... The only things that were PSD's on mine were the Devine PSD and the Mystery person PSD... It doesn't take talent to do what you did... stop acting like they are the best things ever made because they are FAR from it... I hate to burst your bubble but you are no where near as good as you actually think you are.
