Yes, finally, Spring Stampede is finally posted. Awesome way to kick off the event with Dean Malenko beating Juventud Guerrera to regain the WCW World Cruiserweight Championship. While I enjoyed Juventud's title reign, I'm glad that Malenko won the title. Seemed like realistic WCW booking for the handicap match for the WCW Hardcore Championship, not too fond of that, that's usually a good thing, but here...eh not so much. I'm not too fond of good talent like Billy Kidman & Rob Van Dam being paired with Konnan and The Cat [respectively] to be honest, seemed like a decent defense of the WCW World Tag Team Championships by Bam Bam Bigelow and Chris Candido. Mike Awesome beating Booker T is fine, good stipulation choice, too. Would of loved it even more if it were at Uncensored, though. Decent match with Chris Kanyon and Shane Douglas winning..I actually love Kanyon's push at the moment. I hope he gets a US Heavyweight Championship shot soon. Raven beating Buff Bagwell in a Bowery Cage match is fine, the number of gimmick matches though...unsure if I like all of this amount. Awesome match for the WCW US Heavyweight Championship, I like the draw finish, actually. Makes it hot. Wow, Eddie Guerrero over Sting is epic. Guerrero vs Bret Hart please! Wow, Ric Flair winning the WCW World Heavyweight Championship is suprising. Pretty shocking short reign for Bret Hart if you ask me.

Really like the way you went about the Dean/Juvi feud. Juvi won first, but Dean ended up with the belt. Maybe a blowoff match? Meh hardcore title stuff. Glad the team with Douglas retained their titles, although RVD/Cat seems so random. Love the ending to the Awesome/Booker match, and the stuff after with the fan was cool. This Awesome/Hogan feud has been going very nicely thus far. Saw the Kimberley turn coming, but it was needed for sure. Really curious as to where that will go from here. Raven winning is fine, that was a good mid-card feud. Didn't see a draw coming at all. Keeps things interesting there. Not sure if Eddie is really ready for a world title shot. But, he didn't win clean, so that's fine for Sting. A Sting/JJ feud sounds really good. Nice surprise there with Flair winning. However, I didn't think that Steiner attacking Hart should be at the end, as the focus should just be on Flair. Overall, solid PPV, it was interesting and somewhat unpredictable.

- Many within wanted to keep the belt on Juventud Guerrera for a few more months, but he no showed a important photo shoot to promote the PPV causing management to change plans. - The Cat was not the original partner for RVD. RVD's mystery partner was really stuck in Japan. WCW hopes to still bring RVD's partner in down the road. - The Douglas/DDP feud is expected to end at Slamboree. The Kimberly heel turn is being regarded as a success. - Raven is expected to become a big player in WCW. - With WCW needing to get a younger face in the main event scene, Eddie Guerrero winning the ladder match was seen as his time to shine. WCW management will see how he handles the push before letting the possible push completely go through. - Jeff Jarrett had been out with a minor hand injury. - Ric Flair winning the belt was made because WCW couldn't ignore that Flair is the most over worker in the company. Flair isn't expected to have a long reign, but plans always change in WCW.

Sting goes behind Stasiak and plants him with the Scorpion Death Drop for the win. **½ Jeff Jarrett appears on the Nitro vision screen and waves his guitar while saying “Stinger”. Jarrett asks Sting if he remembers last night when Jarrett nailed Sting with the guitar. Sting isn’t happy about that. Jarrett reminds everyone that he is the “Chosen One” and he is World Champion material that has never gotten his chance because a washed up, painted up loser named Sting has been in his way. Jarrett issues a challenge to Sting at Slamboree so that Jarrett can show what he can bring and end a icon’s career. The first elimination saw Raven send Kidman over the top to the floor. Bagwell would clothesline Raven over the top while Raven was taunting the crowd. Bagwell turns around right into the Pittsburgh Plunge by Douglas and is eliminated. Kanyon works on Saturn in the corner but Kanyon loses focus and Saturn belly to belly suplex’s Kanyon over the top to the floor. Nitro was a solid show, Bob. Rey Mistero Jr vs Dean Malenko is always great to see, I'm sure their title match will be no different. Steven Regal vs Chris Harris seemed a bit random on the card but the right man got the win. Stasiak calling out Sting made me lol a bit, Of coarse Sting won and Jarrett vs Sting being added to Slamboree is great. Tag match was cool and it was great to see Awesome get the win. Here's hoping that Awesome gets a us title run in the future. The battle royal was what it was. Hall getting the win was fantastic and even if he isn't going to win the title against Flair it is great to see him in a title match. I really hope Eddie win the title at the Great American Bash as well. My only gripe with the show was that too many matches were made for the ppv to fast. I think there was three announced.

Haven't seen a show from you in a while. Fine opening promo there by Flair. Rey/Malenko should be a great match. Oh well, Harris is still stuck on one win. Like how you're building up to Eddie's eventual shot. Sting winning was the right call, Sting/JJ should be good. Glad Awesome picked up the W. Interesting to have Hall/Nash as the final two. Hall seems a little lackluster, but at least it's something diffferent. Solid show, PPV is looking good so far.

Fine opening match there, would have liked SKipper to win. Steiner/Hart will be good, but whoever loses will be hurt by the loss. Kanyon/Saturn sounds fine. Interesting that Awesome/Benoit will happen, don't expect a clean finish. Good main event & ending to the show as it gives the upper midcarders a chance to shine.

Nice to see this still alive, man. The past few shows have been great. The Shane Douglas/DDP feud is still awesome. The Kimberly Page heel turn wasn't expected at all. Steiner/Hart at Slamboree will be awesome. Keep it up!

Monday Nitro...Monday 17th April 2000...Interesting that you had a promo open up Monday Nitro, when usually it is on after the first match and commercial. Good one nontheless, but pretty much only hyped up the new WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Ric Flair's character. Gotta say, wish you'd note who won the match in the heading. Rey Misterio Jr beating Psychosis and Kaz Hayashi is fine. Chris Harris and Steven Regal's match would of been crapped on by the audience. Regal winning rocks, never liked Harris. Sting beating Shawn Stasiak is predictable, no suprises. Decent tag team match with MikAe Awesome and Lance Storm beating Booker T and Chris Benoit, suprised they won to be honest. Wow, Scott Hall to challenge for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship eh? Interesting stuff. Seemed like a short Nitro.
Thursday Thunder...Thursday 20th April 2000...Psychosis beating Elix Skipper is predictable, since Skipper wasn't really major at this time, good that Psychosis regained momentum after losing on Monday Nitro. Wow, Scott Steiner and Bret Hart's feud should be decent, but not really too spectacular. Konnan beating Crowbar is fine. Actually dug Crowbar. Good WCW World Television Championship defense by Perry Saturn against Norman Smiley, really suprised it's still being used. Jeff Jarrett beating Johnny the Bull didn't suprise me. Solid main event, loved the finish, really saved a lackluster show.
Saturday Night...Saturday 22nd April 2000...Woo, Lash LeRoux picks up the win to kick off Saturday Night. Really think you should do short results for this show to be honest, not too major of note for any storylines et cetera. Good promo with the charismatic Mike Sanders and Dustin Rhodes. Hmm, really think if the WCW World Tag Team Championships were at stake on this show, it'd main event. Nontheless, good defense by Chris Candido and Bam Bam Bigelow. Decent main event, but not fond of where Billy Kidman is going.

Booker T is up next and he has his attention set on Mike Awesome. Booker knows that Awesome is focused on Hogan, but Booker isn’t done with Awesome. Booker may have lost at Spring Stampede, but Booker will not step aside as Awesome demolishes everyone on the roster. Benoit is last and tells Lance Storm that they have had two battles where their hasn’t been a winner. Benoit promises that whenever they have a third encounter their will be a winner, and the winner will the Chris Benoit. Awesome lets Booker know that he will break Booker’s back in the process. Lance Storm is last to speak and tells Benoit that although they have had two matches and neither man has won, he feels that he can defeat Benoit. Surprised Dean played face to some extent after the match there. Good Flair/Hall promo, adds some interest to a feud that hasn't really developed all that much. RVD/Eddie would be a good match. Nice Raven promo there. Like that Nash/Hall is a feud for the long run. DDP/Douglas in a Triple Cage Match is a really good idea. I actually thought it was quite the interesting match; that'd be a good possible blowoff to the feud, but I'm not sure if the feud is done. Not a huge fan of Awesome getting pinned, but it was a Hogan distraction so it's fine by me. Awesome/Hogan will be so good when it happens.

Heenan chimes in saying we will hear from Bret Hart. We will also hear from Shane Douglas and Diamond Dallas Page to get their thoughts on the triple cage match at Slamboree. Hart doesn’t mind losing to Ric Flair, because he is a fellow former World Champion. Hart wonders how many World Championships Scott Steiner has won. Hart answers the question by saying zero. Hart brings up Slamboree and Steiner’s challenge. Although Hart knows that Steiner isn’t at his level in terms of championship material, Steiner has pissed him off. They are standing outside of a strip club which Tylene apparently works at for them. Douglas isn’t afraid of a triple cage, nor is he afraid of Diamond Dallas Page. Douglas told Page that he would take him out and he has done that, emotionally. Now all he has to do it take him out physically. Douglas has beaten Page before and he will do it yet again. However, this time he will take Page out of WCW forever. Douglas is sick and tired of Diamond Dallas Page and he is going to end the chapter of this rivalry. -Glad that Kidman won as I never found anything special about Crowbar -Bret/Steiner at Slamboree should be good -2nd match did not interest me at all, don't like either wrestler -Liked the DDP promo, passionate -The Raven stuff is interesting -The Douglas/DDP story is my favorite thing in this diary -Glad RVD picked up the win, would've been a great match -Liked Nash not having anything to say -Flair winning was obvious
Decent show, exactly what I would expect from your Thunder

Kidman winning is fine, nothing much to it. Heh, forgot Steiner hadn't won a world title at this point. Figured Jindrak would win. Triple Cage match will be so awesome. Like how Ravfen is trying to get noticed. RVD/Eddie will be good when it happens. Flair/Disco was main event worthy for Thunder.
