Coming LIVE from the Verizon Center in Washington, DC!
Instead of the usual pyro-filled opening, this week we open in the office of Trace Demon.
Trace Demon: Good evening. Before we begin tonight’s show I would just like to briefly make an announcement regarding another match at the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. For awhile now it has been obvious that High Horror, Reckless and David Williams will need to face off to finally settle their problems once and for all. This match will finally take place at the pay-per-view in a match I am calling a Last Blood Match. The rules are pretty simple. It’ll be a cage match where you can win only by pinfall or submission, but not before your opponent bleeds. Now, with that in mind—
There is a knock at the door. Although Demon doesn’t reply, a man in a suit carrying a briefcase comes in anyway.
Man: Mr. Demon, I have been asked to keep this briefcase here for safe keeping until later on in the show.
Trace Demon: What the hell is this all about?
The man leaves, leaving Demon pretty confused.
We cut back to ringside with Matthew Werner and Matt Steel.
Matt Steel: So I told her that no matter how fun it was, until she turns eighteen—
Matthew Werner: Good evening and welcome to Loaded. We’ve got a huge show for you tonight. By the time this night is over, new tag team champions will be crowned.
Matt Steel: But right now we’ve got a big three way with—
Matthew Werner: Not happening.
Matt Steel: Why not?
Matthew Werner: Apparently nobody showed.
Matt Steel: Bastards.
Matthew Werner: Let’s head to the ring for our first tournament match.
Keri Thames: Ladies and Gentlemen the following is a tag team match in the First Round of The Tag Team Tournament for the WFWF Tag Team Titles. The winner of the match will move onto the semi finals.
The opening strains of "The State of Things" by Reverend and The Makers rings out through the arena. The low synthesizer builds into the guitar, the bass, and, finally, the drums.
Keri Thames: Now making his way to the ring, from Cleveland, Ohio, he is 6 foot 3 223 pounds, Aaron Ashton!
At the very peak of the build, the curtains quickly part, and Aaron Ashton emerges onto the stage. He takes a pause at the top of the ramp, staring with disdain out at the crowd, who return the heat with boos. Ashton runs a hand through his hair, shakes his head, and makes his way toward the ring, making sure to avoid any contact with the fans by walking almost exactly in the middle of the ramp. As he nears the end of the ramp, he stops again, looking around almost in disbelief at the crowd. He gives them a look that basically screams "I'm this good at what I do, and you're gonna boo me?!" Aaron climbs onto the side of the ring, locks eyes with a fan, scowls, and climbs between the top and middle ropes. Once in the ring, he walks to the hard camera ropes, the camera focused on him as he looks around, trying to see if anyone brought a Pro-Ashton sign. Seeing none, he smiles, knowing his job has been done. He backs into the corner of the ring, resting, and waiting for his opponent.
The arena lights dim as the big screen displays a black and white movie style count down running from 3 to 1 before “Miss You” by Feeder hits the sound system and a small amount of white pyros explode in the entrance way.
Keri Thames: His partner now making his way to the ring, he is 6 feet tall 182 pounds, Johnny “The Movie Man” Michaels!
Seconds after the pyros end WFWF hall of famer Johnny Michaels jumps through the smoke onto the stage. Once out Michaels runs to each side of the stage in turn and waves his arms signalling to the crowd to get up before he then starts to walk to the ring high fiving and shaking hands with some fans on his way then, at the half way point of the ramp, Michaels runs to the ring and slides under the bottom rope to enter it. In the ring Michaels leaps to his feet and runs off the ropes once to test there strength before climbing up the top right and bottom left turnbuckles where he raises his arms to the crowd before jumping down and preparing for the match ahead. He then goes over and shakes Aaron Ashton’s head as they talk strategy.
“End of Heartache” plays thoughout the arena.
Keri Thames: Their opponent, from Cardiff, Wales, he is 5 foot 11 210 pounds, Sam Kineval!
As the song kicks in Sam Kineval walks into the arena. He flicks the collar of his tracksuit and walks down to the ring. He goes to shake hands with a fan but pulls back and gives him a two finger salute. Kineval gets onto the apron then jumps over the top rope into the rings middle rope. He looks around and jumps down. As his opponent enters he takes off his tracksuit and adjusts his wrist tape.
The lights dim down as the opening to "It's A Fight" by Three Six Mafia begins to play. The crowd gets on it's feet and starts to cheer waiting the arrival of the Street King.
Keri Thames: And his partner, making his way to the ring, he resides from Oradell, New Jersey, he is 6 foot 2 260 pounds, “The Street King” David Roberts!
At the 15 second mark, David Roberts makes his way through the curtain onto the top of the titan tron followed by his manager and brother Shawn Roberts. The Street King prepares himself for the match. Before the sound of "It's A Fight" he looks in both directions to get the crowd pumped. At the sound of "It's A Fight" The Street King slowly starts to make his way down to the ring. He stands in front of the apron staring down his opponent.
Before the first verse he looks in both directions to get the crowd pumped. At the start of the first verse he flips his hood off and lets out a roar with the crowd 100% behind him. He turns right with Shawn making his way around the ring greeting the fans quickly. He gets right back to where he started and both the Roberts climb the apron and enter the ring through the second rope as the crowd sings along. "Hit em with a left LEFT. Hit em with a right RIGHT. It's a fight, It's a fight, yeah, what’s up, yeah, what’s up yeah!" The Street King goes to all the corners raising his hands in the air. He takes his hoodie off and Shawn goes to ringside as he awaits the beginning of the match. He and Kineval stare each other down for a few seconds but then talk about the match.
Matthew Werner: It looks like Roberts and Ashton will start off the match.
And here we go! Roberts quickly takes advantage of the rookie Ashton with a headlock followed by a take down. Roberts keeps the headlock intact until Aaron reaches the ropes. He then throws him to the ropes and hits Aaron with a nasty elbow take down. He covers!
. . . 1 . . .
. . . 2 . . .
Michaels comes in and breaks it up!
While the ref argues with Michaels, Roberts thinks quickly and throws Ashton into his corner where Sam chokes Aaron!
Matt Steel: Nice strategy there by Roberts and Kineval.
Roberts tags Sammy in. He quickly gets to work on Aaron’s head. He nails him with a DDT. Aaron somehow rebounds quickly but is taken back down with an elbow to the gut and another DDT. Sammy picks him up and tries to go for a 3rd DDT, but Aaron flips Kineval over his head! Aaron rebounds off the ropes and hits the Russian Leg Sweep! Aaron throws Kineval into his corner and quickly tags in the Movie Man!
Matthew Werner: Here comes the Hall of Famer!
Matt Steel: This is actually starting to get interesting!
Aaron picks Kineval up as if he was going for a Suplex while Johnny climbs the top rope. Aaron tries to throw him down to the mat while Johnny goes for an elbow splash! Aaron reverses and DDT’s Aaron while Johnny crashes down on his elbow! Sammy covers Michaels quickly!
. . . 1 . . .
. . . 2 . . .
Kickout!
Kineval kneels over Johnny in frustration. He picks him up and throws him against the ropes and then bends over. Michaels quickly stops in his tracks and knees Kineval in the head. He then bounces against the ropes and hits a neck breaker! Sammy leans against the ropes as Johnny comes charging after him! Sam ducks and Michaels goes flying over the top rope! Sam then goes for a high flying move of his own with a springboard right onto Michaels! Kineval is out of gas, so he tags in Roberts from the outside. Roberts stalks Johnny and then hits him with an elbow to the back as the ref goes the 5 count. Roberts throws Johnny back into the ring and covers him.
. . . 1 . . .
. . . 2 . . .
Ashton comes in and breaks it up.
Matthew Werner: That was……wait a sec, what is Sam doing on the outside.
Matt Steel: Putting this match in the bag!
While the ref has his back to Roberts and Michaels, Kineval comes in with a chair! Kineval is about to take a swing at the Movie Man when Roberts stops him straight in his tracks. You can clearly hear him say “I don’t want to win like that.” Then you can hear Kineval say “Well I do.” Kineval is about to take a shot at Roberts when Michaels super kicks him right in the chin! “You saved my ass, I’ll save yours. Good luck,” Michaels said. Then Michaels proceeded throw Roberts against the ropes and spear him! Michaels rolls over on top for a cover.
. . . 1 . . .
. . . 2 . . .
. . . 3! . . .
Keri Thames: Your winners and advancing into the tournament, Johnny Michaels and Aaron Ashton!
Post-match, an argument between Roberts and Kineval turns into a shoving match before the two come to blows. Finally, it’s broken up by security.
Matthew Werner: It was only a matter of time before this happened. We’ll be right back.
Commericals. Yay.
Matthew Werner: The participants for our next tournament match are already in the ring.
Matt Steel: Cool.
Kronic and Sheer Domination lock up and Sheer hurls Kronic up in the air with ease, letting him fall flat on his face. Sheer Domination laughs at how quickly he downed the International Champion. He walks to his corner and tags in Vanessa, whom is eager to wrestle. Vanessa climbs into the ring and waits for <Kronic to get up. He pulls himself to his feet, only to be decked again by Vanessa. Vanessa taunts Yukio, but Kronic kicks up and slaps Vanessa in the face. They jaw for a minute when Vanessa gives Kronic a wink that turns him stone for a minute. Tabitha, outside the ring is yelling at Kronic telling to get it together. To late. Vanessa plants him with a DDT. She drags Kronic back to her corner and tags in Sheer Domination. Sheer Domination steps over the ropes and onto the chest of Kronic. Kronic's eyes bulge as his chest “could be caved in.”
. . . 1 . . .
. . . 2 . . .
Yukio busts into the ring and breaks it up. He starts hammering on Sheer Domination, but to no avail. Sheer Domination delivers a stiff punch to the throat of Yukio, sending him on his butt choking. Sheer Domination rolls him out of the ring but is brought to a knee by a stiff right hook from Kronic. Kronic then delivers a solid roundhouse kick to the back of Sheer Domination's head, knocking him on his stomach. Kronic dives at his corner and tags in Yukio. Yukio comes in quickly and starts punching and kicking the big man in an attempt to keep him down. He delivers a strong elbow to the back of the grounded head of Sheer Domination with sickening authority. Yukio then drives his knees into the shoulders, sides, and neck of Sheer Domination, keeping him grounded. Yukio gets Sheer Domination to his knees and then drops him with a reverse DDT.
Yukio slowly picks up Sheer Domination and hooks his arm around his neck but Sheer overpowers him and tags in Vanessa. Vanessa comes in and goes after Yukio quickly, kicking him in the back of the knee. She walks in front of Yukio and drops him with the “Real a Lie.”
. . . 1 . . .
. . . 2 . . .
Keri Thames: Your winners and advancing to the next round, Vanessa McGurk and Sheer Domination!
Matthew Werner: Another bad week for Yukio Blaze
Matt Steel: It’s about to get worse. Look who just came in from the crowd.
Kurt Burton has just jumped the railing with a lead pipe in hand. He climbs in the ring and waits for Blaze to get back up before waffling him over the head with it. With Blaze out, he gets a microphone.
Kurt Burton: Hi. Remember, me Yukio? Do you? Well, I’ve got some great news for you. I’m back and next week I’ve got myself a match against you. Don’t worry. It’ll be fun. I promise.
He hits Blaze with the pipe one more time before heading back through the crowd.
Matthew Werner: Burton is back!
Matt Steel: And Yukio is screwed.
Quarterfinal Match
David Williams and Ace Bennett vs. Master of Destruction and Thunder
It was clear from the beginning that MOD and Thunder weren’t going to work together well, which was quickly exposed by their opponents. Both Bennett and Williams seemed to catch MOD and Thunder off guard by their great performance, but low blow and roll-up from Thunder to Williams ended the match in the champion’s favor.
Semifinal Match
Vanessa McGurk and Sheer Domination vs. Johnny Michaels and Aaron Ashton
Although McGurk and Domination showed teamwork in their first match, it just wasn’t here this time around. A poor move by Domination proved to be the nail in the coffin. Instead of making a tag when it was available to him, he stayed in only to be hit with the Ashonator, which proved to be the finish.
Semifinal Match
Reckless and High Horror vs. Master of Destruction and Thunder
Somehow, Reckless and Horror exuded even less teamwork than their opponents. Halfway through the match, Reckless walked out on his partner and at that point it was only a matter of time before Horror was finished off by MOD.
We head backstage again where Demon is trying to force the briefcase open. Once again, the there is a knock on the door. The man enters again anyway. Embarrassed, Demon sits down and pretends he wasn’t paying any attention to the briefcase.
Man: Thanks for holding this.
He exits as we head back to ringside.
Matthew Werner: And now it’s time to find out who our new Tag Team Champions will be.
Matt Steel: Should be a good one.
"Cult of Personality" by Living Colour begins to play. As the cash register sound ends and the music begins, Thunder walks towards the ring with the WFWF World Championship around his waist. He reaches the apron and climbs the turnbuckle, taunting the fans.
The lights in the arena fade to black as the beginning of 'Bang Bang You're Dead' begins to play. The letters 'M.O.D' flash on the screen until the song reaches it's main part and there is a large explosion. The lights come back on and Master of Destruction enters the arena. He looks at the crowd with some distain. He shakes his head and begins walking to the ring, occasionally stopping to taunt some fans. He walks up the stairs and climbs through the ropes before climbing upon two out of the four turnbuckles posing with his arms crossed. He then stands leaning on one corner waiting for his opponent.
Keri Thames: The following contest is the finals of the tournament and is for the WFWF Tag Team Championship! Introducing first, the team of Master of Destruction and the WFWF World Champion, Thunder!
The opening strains of "The State of Things" by Reverend and The Makers rings out through the arena. The low synthesizer builds into the guitar, the bass, and, finally, the drums. Keri Thames: Their opponents are the team of Aaron Ashton and Johnny Michaels!!!
As the bell sounds, MOD exits the ring, leaving Thunder to start off the match. But once he sees Michaels is starting the match for his team, Thunder quickly makes a tag to MOD and gets out of there. MOD and Michaels lock up, with MOD getting the advantage. He pushes Michaels into the corner and instead of giving him a clean break, he slaps him right across the face. Michaels returns the favor with a right hand and sends MOD into the corner. He misses with a splash, giving MOD the opportunity to hit a german suplex. MOD taunts Ashton a bit, which proves to be a bad idea when he is met with a dropkick from Michaels, who then charges at Thunder.
Mathew Werner: Thunder doesn’t seem to anxious to get in the ring with Michaels.
Matt Steel: He’s just playing it safe. Which is why you should always wear a—
Matthew Werner: Don’t say it.
Thunder drops down to the floor and drags Michaels out with him. He misses with a right hand and in turn is hit with an atomic drop. Michaels then sends him into the steel steps. MOD attempts a crossbody on the floor, but Michaels catches him and slams him to the floor.
Matthew Werner: Michaels just took out both of his opponents at the Texas Chainsaw Massacre!
Matt Steel: And he may have just won himself the tag titles in the process.
Michaels rolls MOD into the ring and makes a cover.
. . . 1 . . .
. . . 2 . . .
Kickout by MOD. Michaels tags in Ashton, who . He then bounces off the ropes, only to have Thunder pull down the top rope, causing him to spill out onto the floor. On the floor, Thunder hits him with a Thunder & Lightning before rolling him back in. MOD hits a snap suplex and then makes a tag to his partner.
Thunder drops an elbow before picking Ashton up and hitting him with several elbows to the head. He hits a german suplex, but Ashton lands on his feet and hits a dropkick to the back. Thunder is able to tag MOD, who grabs Ashton before he can make a tag. MOD picks Ashton up but is hit with the Ashonator out of nowhere. Instead of going for the pin, the very tired Ashton tags in Michaels just as MOD tags in Thunder.
Matthew Werner: Hot tag!
Matt Steel: Yay!
Michaels hits Thunder with a series of right hands and then hits a huge back body drop that sends Thunder flying. He attempts the Extended Edition, but Thunder is able to powerbomb him before he can hit the hurricanrana portion of the move.
Matthew Werner: He just destroyed him with that powerbomb.
Matt Steel: Pin him! Finish him!
Matthew Werner: You’re so biased.
Matt Steel:Not at all.
Thunder takes some time to admire his work before lifting up Michaels in the position for Thunder & Lightning. Again he delays, giving Michaels the chance to put him in a crucifix pinning combination.
. . . 1 . . .
. . . 2 . . .
. . . 3! . . .
Keri Thames: Here are your winners and NEW WFWF Tag Team Champions, JOHNNY MICHAELS AND AARON ASHTON!!!
They don’t have much time to celebrate as Alex Sean, DGX and EBR run down to the ring, with Sean having the briefcase from earlier in his h and. He lays out Ashton from behind by hitting him with it. Opening it, the old versions of the WFWF World Titles and WFWF Tag Team Title spill out. EBR uses his to hit Michaels a few times while Sean and DGX hit Ashton with a spike piledriver. With the two men in the ring down they toss them out to the floor, pick up their respective titles and hold them high in the air.
Matthew Werner: I can’t believe what I’m seeing.
Matt Steel: Yes! Yes! This is the greatest night in the history of our sport! They’re back!
Matthew Werner: I’m afraid we’re out of time, so hopefully we’ll get some answers about this next week.
The WFWF logo appears on the screen as the show fades out.
