- TNA officials remain impressed with how over the Curry Man gimmick is with the fans. While Christopher Daniels has always been respected for his ring work, this latest push is because of the reception that the Curry Man gimmick has received. Everyone in TNA knew of the success that the gimmick has had internationally but there were obvious questions of how it would be received in TNA Wrestling. The original idea was to let Daniels bring the Curry Man gimmick to the company to play off of the "fired" storyline and bring him back later on down the road. However, given the recent success of the angle, it is likely that Daniels will work as Curry Man for the foreseeable future.
Hopefully now he can lose the wig and $5 costume and dawn the traditional Curryman gear. I also wouldn't mind him incorporating more wrestling into his matches instead of being 100% comedy act.

^He sure is, but at least he's actually wrestling on TV and getting some wins.
A random Curry Man segment I eventually want to see:
Curry Man spouts off his make shift/name dropping Japanese. Under him, there's subtitles saying he's wants to go after the X-Division title.
Scott Steiner interrupts and says Petey Williams is going after the X title. The subtitle guy tries his best to interpret what Big Poppa Pump is saying, but he's start screwing up (think Fun With Ahmed Johnson). Eventually, ? ? ? starts blinking on the screen.

All I can say is this is awesome. I love the Curry Man gimmick and I was sick of seeing Christopher Daniels. However, they need to stop teaming him up with Shark Boy and give him a singles run.

He needs to look like somewhat legit if they want his push to mean something...

Daniels was a better gimmick. I hate him now, especially after beating Petey. He's better than this crappersona.

The long hair and the fact it sounds nothing like Daniels probably would have thrown some people off. However, you start showing tats and people figure out who it is and eventually stop caring...

Stop going back and forth guys, or TNA will over hear and throw him into that alter ego angle with EY and Blackdust.

Correct me if I'm wrong...
But Daniels only has the one tat on his chest.. and he always wore a shirt as Curry Man...
Why would it reveal him??

Ugh, more of this crappy gimmick? I want Daniels back.
Not saying that it's not a smart move on TNA's part business wise, but I still want the "Fallen Angel" back on my screen.

What a waste of talent. I think Daniels was getting pretty stale but he still could of been something huge in TNA. With this gimmick he will never be anything more than a jobber. I wouldn't mind it so much if he used some of his actual moves and wrestled like he did in ROH and Japan rather than just being a comedy act.
