sources: PWInsider.com, www.f4wonline.com-- WWE has two new DVD projects in the works. Jim Ross noted in a recent blog on his official website that he was consulted over a planned "Greatest Tag Teams" DVD project scheduled for release later this year. Regarding the other one, WWE has plans to release a DVD similar to the 2005 release, "Greatest Stars of the 1980s." Only this one will devoted to the greatest wrestling stars of the 1990s. It will be interesting to see who gets profiled as it will chronicle stars from the Monday Night Wars, the Attitude era and the rise of the original ECW. The DVD is scheduled to be released this April. I personally probably would get the Great Tag Teams. I don't know if I would really want to buy the best of the 90s...if it's say HBK and/or Bret Hart on there... I mean I already own the 3 disc set of each why would I buy another product that has matches of theres on there when they are probably already on the other sets? Now if they include a best of the Nation of Domination...now where talkin ...or Kaientai vs Val Venis...

I think both sound good. The more 80's tag matches I get on DVD are better

I'd much rather a History of the World Tag Team Championship, but they both sound good.

Considering how much I loved wrestling in the 90's (at least the stuff I remember), I may pick up the 90's one. It really depends on what they do for it, the content, what wrestlers they cover, etc.

Both sound awesome, especially the 90's DVD since I grew up on that stuff. WWE should do more things on WCW theres alot of great footage to be used.

Now if they include a best of the Nation of Domination...now where talkin ...or Kaientai vs Val Venis... WWE is pretty good at putting different matches on DVDs like that which were not featured on previous DVDs. I remember I owned Shawn Michaels In the Vault DVD set, so I was not going to buy the new one, but after looking at the match listings, they were surprisingly different. I am sure WWE will switch it up enough to make us want to buy it, because HBK and Bret both had enough great matches to fill up more than three DVDs.

I'd likely get both, though I am more interested in the tag teams one, as I've always been a fan of tag team wrestling... But I'll have to see who's featured on each to have a real opinion of it.

I'm a massive fan of the 90's, so I would really want a DVD of that. At least then, like a lot of DVD's, skip through some of the 90's.

I will try to get some more updates but from what I'm hearing from some sources is that they are wanting to do more with that library and this Starcade DVD is kinda a test to see if people want to see old footage.
