Theme Song: In The Shadows by The Rasmus
Location: The Legendary Blue Horizon, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
We open the show with Kurt Burton and Thunder standing in a hallway near the dressing rooms. Thunder has an obviously disgusted look on his face.
Kurt: And so that’s how I got syphilis in the other eye.
Thunder: You are one sick man Burton.
Suddenly Ryan Riddle runs up to Burton.
Riddle: Excuse me, Kurt.
Kurt: That’s Mr. Burton to you.
Riddle: I’m sorry, Mr. Burton. Look, I have been wondering…
Kurt: No, Thunder will not go out on a date with you.
Riddle: That wasn’t what I was going to say.
Kurt: Well out with it.
Riddle: Well…
Thunder: We haven’t got all day.
Riddle: I just.
Kurt: Come on.
Riddle: I…
Thunder: Speak!
Riddle: WILL YOU BOTH SHUT UP!!!
Kurt: Damn dude, no reason to get so emotional. We were just having fun.
Thunder fakes a sob.
Thunder: You hurt my feelings.
Riddle: Mr. Burton…
Kurt: It’s Kurt, thank you.
Riddle: A few weeks ago, you promised me an interview with the leader of the Revolution, claiming that you were not the leader.
Kurt: And I’m not. And you want an interview, how cute. Well let me just say, you’re in luck. He is here tonight. And the Revolution were planning on making a major announcement anyways, so just meet us out in the ring a little later. As for now, Thunder and I have important business, so scram.
Riddle, barely able to contain his excitement at the story he is about to break, rans off into the distance. Kurt and Thunder smirk, and turn back.
Kurt: Did I ever tell you about my experience in Bangkok?
Thunder: I don’t want to know.
Singles Match; Felo-de-se vs. House Show
(FDS)Reckless vs. (HS)David Williams
In a fairly competitive opener, both men gave all they had in order to secure the victory.
As David Williams believed that he should have been booked on the PPV, not Reckless. He looked not just to prove that, but to take Reckless out in the proccess. However it would not be tonight, as Reckless put Williams away with the KamoKazie Drop.
Your Winner by Pinfall, Reckless
Back in the Locker room is Calvin Lee and Luther Castle.
Calvin Lee: So it seems the WFWF never booked you this week.
Luther Castle: Yes…
Calvin Lee: Those bastards.
Luther Castle: I hate it. I came here to wrestle. Not be on the damn side lines. That Rev is a dick weed. He’ll regret not letting Luther Castle wrestle tonight. This calls for drastic measures.
Calvin Lee: Now Luther, don’t do anything…“stupid.” You don’t want them to not book you for the PPV.
Luther Castle: Oh they better book me for the PPV. Or I’m going to make an appearance, and they are not going to like it one bit.
Calvin Lee: I don’t think it’s worth wrestling tonight anyways Luther. It’s FDS vs. HOUSE SHOWS! You’d break the record of shortest match if you wrestled today.
Luther Castle: I’d crush the little freaks.
Calvin Lee: It’s sad enough I’m facing this Spider character. I hope he doesn’t think he’s Spiderman or something. My PPV match will be much more fun then this match.
Luther Castle: Whoever it is, I have your back on the side lines.
Calvin Lee: Thanks man, I can always count on you. Revenge is gonna be sweat.
Luther Castle: I say this week, you work Spider as if he was the opponent you have for Forever Unscarred, and then you crush the little bastard with the Wrist Clutch Burning Hammer. Then do the same at Forever Unscarred. Just crush the bastard!
Calvin Lee: Good idea, Spider’s gonna wish he never faced me before Forever Unscarred. He’s dead.
Fade out and into…
Singles Match; Felo-de-se vs. House Show
(FDS)Calvin Lee vs. (HS)Spider
In a match that was truly one-sided affair in every sense of the word, Spider never really got out of the box on this one, and Lee took full advantage of that. Capitalizing on the much more smaller, at least in stature, and less experienced Spider. Showing a hint of mercy, Lee ends it with the Chapter 11.
Your Winner by Pinfall, Calvin Lee
Singles Match; Felo-de-se vs. House Show
(FDS)Johnny Micheals vs. (HS)Jay Mayhem
As the new comer Jay Mayhem awaiting the Movie Man, it appeared that Johnny Michaels was a no-show. As Mayhem goes to the referee demanding to have his hand be raised in victory, the referee refuses, but comes close to giving in before Mayhem is attacked from behind by a masked man, the man removes his mask, it's Johnny Michaels.
JM: Nothin' Personal Mr. Mayhem, your character just doesn't fit the role in this movie.
No Contest
We come back from the commercial, as Wayne McGurk, Thunder, and Kurt Burton stand in the ring, and Ryan Riddle is stepping between the ropes.
Riddle: Ladies and Gentlemen, my guests at this time, the Revolution.
Kurt Burton snatches the microphone out of Riddle’s hand.
Kurt: We need no introduction, and especially not in a town like Philadelphia.
The crowd boos.
Kurt: What? Don’t I speak the truth. I mean, your precious Pirates and Eagles are two of the worst sports teams in the history of competiton, and you single handedly turned the sport of professional wrestling into a joke with that Bingo Hall promotion. You people are lucky the Revolution even came to your stink pot of a town.
The crowd begins chanting “Kurt’s a ****”.
Kurt: I am what I eat. Just ask your girlfriends.
Riddle grabs the microphone back
Riddle: While I hate to interrupt your little taunting session, I was told by you backstage that you were introducing us to the leader of the Revolution tonight.
Kurt: Indeed I am. And these philly cheese steaks should feel honored to be in the presence of such a great mastermind. A man whose athleticism and intellectualism are unparalleled. Please ladies and Gentlemen welcome the leader of the Revolution. Mr Giggles!
If you want Blood by ACDC blares out over the speakers as Kat Hamilton and Vanessa McGurk walk out with one of those inflatable punching bag clowns. The walk it to ringside, and slide it under the ropes.
Riddle: This is a joke right?
Kurt: NO! This is no joke. He is a the definition of a pro. Not convinced, we’ll show you. This man can take punishment. Wayne, powerbomb Mr. Giggles.
Wayne grabs the clown, and performs a powerbomb, slamming it hard into the mat, but the clown bounces back up to its feet.
Kurt: Did you see that? How many people in this organization could take a powerbomb like that, and just bounce right back? None. And it didn’t even weaken him. Watch. Thunder, punch Mr. Giggles.
Thunder: I don’t know Kurt, I don’t think he’ll like it.
Kurt: I said punch Mr. Giggles!
Thunder: But he’ll get angry.
Kurt: PUNCH MR GIGGLES!!!
Thunder moves apprehensively towards the clown. He pulls back, and does a snap jab. Mr Giggles teeters, but comes back up, tapping Thunder. Thunder falls down.
Kurt: Did you see that? What power Mr. Giggles possesses. I mean, he’s nigh invincible. You can even stab him, and it won’t do a thing.
Kurt produces a knife, he hands it to Riddle. Riddle refuses at first, but Kurt convinces him. Ryan stabs Mr. Giggles, who explodes. Immediately Kat and Vanessa start crying. Kurt and Wayne look furious.
Kurt: You murdered Mr. Giggles you son of a bitch!
Kurt kicks Riddle in the gut, and throws him to Wayne. Wayne lifts Riddle up for a cross powerbomb. Thunder rises, immediately hitting the ropes, and running towards Wayne. They perform the Chopping Block. Riddle writhes in agony on the floor.
Kurt: Mr. Giggles is dead, long live Mr. Giggles. Well folks, I guess this leaves us without a leader. And no leader means that we can no longer exist. You just witnessed the death of the Revolution here tonight. But it’s no biggie. See, a revolution seeks to change the status quo, and if you look at all the gold we carry, well, we are the status quo. So, I present to you the biggest force in professional wrestling today, THE AXIS!!!! We are the group around which this pathetic organization revolves, and it will stay that way, until we say it is over!!
Kurt Burton throws down the mic, as he and the Axis exit the ring.
Thunder seems to be limping, and Vanessa helps him to the back.
Singles Match; Felo-de-se vs. House Show
(FDS)Obo vs. (HS)Dane Christian
The fans went into this match expecting something memorable, and while both men had a different mindset going into this one, they knew a win here is just as important as any night in the WFWF. Hold for hold both men went, and added some hard strikes in the mix. It however ended with Dane going for the Road to Success but Obo escaping and rolling him up with the Backlund Bridge
Your Winner by Pinfall, Obo
Tag Team Match; Felo-de-se vs. House Show
(FDS)Revolution vs. (HS)The High Horror & Josh Dean
The story behind this match was whether or not Thunder would show. As Horror and Dean worked over 1/2 of the WFWF Tag Team Champions, Burton held his own for the most part. But eventually the odds weren't in his favor. As Horror hit his Hangman's Horror and Dean the legal man, followed it up with a frog splash. The results were inevitable. In what could be a foreshadowing of things to come at Forever Unscarred.
Your Winner's by Pinfall, The High Horror & Josh Dean
Singles Match; Felo-de-se vs. House Show
(FDS)Wayne McGurk vs. (HS)Christian "Cool Man" Rodriguez
In easily the match of the night so far, Rodriguez stepped up to the plate and gave the International champion a run for his money. These two didn't hold back and briefly brought the fight to the fans. The match though didn't come without controversy as Rodriguez went for the Whose Cool Now, Wayne prevented it and lifted Rodriguez up for a powerbomb, held onto it for the pin, but grabbed the ropes out of the referee's sight.
Your Winner by Pinfall, Wayne McGurk
Main Event; Felo-de-se vs. House Show
(FDS)Reverend Shadow vs. (HS)Yukio Blaze
As our main event is underway, both men meet center ring, in this non-title match. As Blaze and Shadow exchange words, both men look to go into the PPV on a win.
The first few minutes are hardly resembling a wrestling match as Blaze throws kick, and Rev fights them off with hard forearms to the face, eventually both enter a chopping fest, Rev eventually ties up but Blaze breaks loose and hits a hard lariat.
The match for the most part was Blaze outsmarting Rev, as the fans gave a mixed reaction, some supporting Blaze whiles others not fully behind Blaze taking the fight to their champion.
As we close in on the final moments of the match, Rev goes for a Clothesline from Heaven but Blaze avoids it and Rev clocks the referee. Both men hardly take notice, as they're exhausted, but Blaze is the first to get to his feet.
We soon see 1/2 of the WFWF Tag Team Champions, Thunder rushing down to the ring. He stops mid-way and grabs Rev's bible.
Thunder jumps onto the apron and sneaks into the ring, he looks to catch Blaze with a shot from the bible, but misses and hit Rev. As Blaze sends Thunder to the outside, he follows it up by covering Rev. The referee shakes the cobwebs and begins to make the count. As Blaze manages to score a upset on the WFWF Heavyweight Champion, Reverend Shadow.
Your Winner by Pinfall, Yukio Blaze
End Show
OOC: If you sent segments to Rev, send them to me in a timely fashion so I can put them in asap. For those worried, don't worry. Rev has my blessing and he has his own situation to worry about so I don't mind putting these out as he'd easily do the same for me.
Anyways, that is it and now we're on to the 3rd chapter in the Higher Authority Dynasty(era), Forever Unscarred.
So yea, congrats to all and the deadline is as is in the PPV thread. April 24th-26th. If I get all the roleplays in before the 26th, than results will be in sooner, if not you all have till the 26th at 11:59pm eastern, which far be it is enough as that's untill next Thursday.
So yea good luck all involved in Forever Unscarred or the Pre-Show. Oh and happy jobbing Wayne. ;D
