Since there was the post about the worst, I decided to be Mr. Positivity and go the other route. Who does everyone think is the best mystery partner?
For my money I'm going with Ricky Steamboat from the Nov. 19, 1991 Clash of the Champions.
The Enforcers (Arn Anderson and Larry Zbysko) were set to defend the World tag team titles against Barry Windham and Dustin Rhodes.
But they had slammed Windham's hand in a car door a couple of weeks prior, thus Windham being dropped from the match.
Come match time, Windham and Rhodes came out and introduced a man clad in a cloak and a dragon's head.
Dustin pulls off the Dragon's head and Steamboat throws back the cloak and the crowd erupts.
The went on to win the titles in an excellent match.
Got any better?

No doubt about it. I don't think something can top that anytime soon.

Trish on Raw recently doesn't beat Hogan in '96 but it was still great.

However even though thats the first one I remember I think Hogan at the Bash will big a more historical one.

The hogan moment was great but out of the more recent mystery partners I'd go with Rhodes being Ted Jr.'s partner at night of champions.

I remember it being really cool when Raven returned to ECW from WCW as Tommy Dreamer's mystery tag team partner, after years of being his mortal enemy.

Nothing is a secret these days so I doubt Hogan joining the Outsiders will ever be bettered.

as far as mystery partners go its near impossible to top Hogans appearance at Bash at The Beach.
I really thought the Outsiders partner was Bret Hart because he hadnt been seen since WM12.........

I believe they were against Camp Cornette. And yeah... I forgot all about Hogan. For historic reasons, I guess it is better. But I'm a Steamboat mark through and through, so it'll always be my favorite. Dude Love as Austin's Partner was cool too. And that was extra great, because it was also a surprise to Austin.

Honestly, I thought Sid replacing Warrior was terrible.
