ditto - bobby heenan - he was hillarious on commentary - I guess Lawler tried to model himself on that - but its a shame now - lawler is pathetic and boring as a face commentator

1. Heenan
2. Ventura

4. Hayes
Though hayes might have had third if he was grreat with anyoneother than Monsoon.

My favorite color commentator out of those is Jesse Ventura.

Heenan gets my vote which would be followed by Ventura. Savage was actually a decent commentator and never gets much credit. McMahon was as well but hes not listed.
Lord Alfred Hayes though just flat out annoyed me.

Heenan will always be my favorite color commentator, but Jesse Ventura was just as good, if not better (in some people's opinions), when working alongside Gorilla Monsoon or Vince McMahon.
I could listen to Heenan and Monsoon argue for hours.

Jesse Ventura. Bobby Heenan may have cracked more jokes, but they ere the sameas time goes on. Don't get me wrong, I loved Heenan as an announcer, but Ventura as seemed to be more of a real person. I alwas felt this anger whe a face would win a match or gain advantage of a match. He would make the match seem more legit overall. Ironically, IMO Ventura added more realism to wrestling than Heenan.

Man it's tough Jesse and Hennan but I got to go with Hennan he's imo the best heel off all time. Flair and Piper were great but Hennan spilled into all aspects of wrestling. If he was your manager you got a huge bump making you a contenter right off the bat. He could elevate a baby face by just argueing with him.

As much as I loved Ventura as a commentator, this isn't even close. Heenan is the best by miles.
