Jeff Jarrett has asked all TNA performers not to attend the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony in Orlando this Saturday. The report states that Jarrett feels it would make the company look bad if a current TNA wrestler was shown on camera in the crowd, implying an endorsement of the product.
Just a reminder that there are no TV tapings tonight and tomorrow in Orlando as the company has pushed them to later this week during "WrestleMania" weekend in the city. The company runs a "live" Impact this Thursday on March 27 and will then tape two additional shows on Friday (doors open at 6pm) and Saturday (doors open at 2pm).

Oh my... maybe the TNA wrestlers are just showing their respects to some Legends getting inducted into the HOF... for once it has nothing to do with business or making TNA look bad. I'm pretty sure there would be no fans saying "OMG TNA INVASION OF WWE" or "TNA is unprofessional because their wrestlers attended a WWE show"
If I was a TNA wrestler working in Orlando then I would likely pay for my ticket to see the HOF and Wrestlemania... Just because of how grand of an event it is.

How great would it be if lets say Edge appeared on TNA, in crowd, I'd mark out like a whore on a cold Sunday night!

Well.. in a way it's right but in a way it's wrong.
Right - Because, having TNA guys there would basically be saying that they aprove the product in a way.
Wrong - Because it's no big deal.
Honestly, TNA's damned if they do and damned if they don't.

Some guys I would be okay with. But if Angle shows up, I hope he gets the boots put to him. How great would it be if lets say Edge appeared on TNA, in crowd, I'd mark out like a whore on a cold Sunday night! Yeah, but at the same time Tenay or West could say, "Even the champs from the biggest company in the world are coming to see our show." I don't want that happening.

I really don't see why Jeff Jarrett cares that the TNA wrestlers are paying money from their own pockets to mingle with some fans and friends on an evening that is about paying respects to those legends of the business... ESPECIALLY the night when Ric Flair gets inducted...

its the WWE HALL OF FAME!!! not the WRESTLING HALL OF FAME!! they are different! i wouldn't want my contracted wrestler showing up on the other brands product either! Its a WWE event!! WWE would put the camera on the TNA wrestler just to rub it in. Jeff Jarrett is not wrong here. I know the company i work for, wouldn't want me attending an open house by a rival electronics firm! You don't do that! You wwe marks are idiots!

If it was an industry Hall of Fame, you know Savage and Warrior would be in it already but they are not because Vince hates them. So I would not want my talent going there either because it is not a hall of fame like Baseball or something it is WWE's

I love Jarret (No Homo) but I think this is just stupid. He should let the TNA wrestlers show respect to some of the greatest wrestlers ever in the business. Good move to have the shows later this week, may atract some more people.

They should be allowed to attend. It is paying respects to the people that paved the way for them. I am pretty sure WWE wouldn't show them on camera anyway. And I know they would not make a deal of it.
You think WWE would be like holly cow there is AJ Styles. So that way people who don't know him look him up and start watching TNA? No.

I didn't even have to read past the first line; This better be a joke!
If not, this is beyond idiotic. Considering they advertised the UFC with Angle's appearance for Brock's fight, which you can cut and paste around it, but still was TNA's talent appearing for another company in the sport's world.
Plus I find it insulting that wrestler's would be turned away from the Hall of Fame. Whether it was a poor selection of inductees or amazing, that is some thing most wrestling fans want to be a part of. Aren't wrestlers still wrestling fans at heart?
Ugh, stupidity runs wild. Me, I'd ignore the pecking orders if I felt strongly enough about attending the ceremony.

Yeah, I'd likely attend the WWE HOF and Mania if I was a TNA worker... the WWE is not going to show the TNA guys on the TV just to rub it in... they'd probably be sitting with the fans not with the other wrestlers.... The WWE isn't going to give TNA any publicity during their own show. But the TNA wrestlers should still be entitled to go if they want to... especially because they'd be using their own money. If my employer tried to tell me how I can and can't spend my own money then I suppose I shouldn't be working there...

It's not that he said they couldn't go he just asked them not to go. So, they can still go.

I see nothing wrong in what he requested. It's no different than Ford Motor Company making employee's who don't drive their product to park in a different parking lot, or Coca-Cola forbidding any of their employee's from buying any PepsiCo product, or even the UNION's making union members buy union made products only. Its putting pride in your company. If you go to another company's functions; you dont have any pride with your company. And as was said before; it would be totally different if this were a Generic Wrestling Hall of Fame; that included all companies, but its not it's the WWE Hall of Fame; a competitor of TNA.

The only TNA talent I want to see at the ceremony is Velvet Sky.
Or, if you prefer, "Gregory Helms +1."
To be honest, the only reason I don't want to see TNA wrestlers there is because I don't want the fans to be there period. Because 99% of them have no idea how to act in a situation like that.

They are not competition with the WWE... plain and simple. PWA here in Edmonton has brought in Brutus Beefcake... he's a past employee of the WWE... That doesn't mean they are competition. Booker T's PWA has brought in Team 3D... they are competition? Just because you can bring in former WWE rejects doesn't make them competition. Just because they have a smaller fan base then the WWE doesn't make them competition... TNA may be the closest thing to competition but at the moment right now it isn't competition...
