i saw on metsblog.com minaya is secretly talking to boras regarding manny. it was seen in a La newspaper. They also said boras & minaya met and spoke last week.

SNY is blowing this up to make it seem like there were THOUSANDS of people rallying for Manny. There was 30-40 people. I highly doubt 30-40 random fans are going to get Manny signed.

I've been hearing rumblings of him potentially ending up in SF, although the sources are split on whether he actually will end up in Fog City.
I wouldn't mind that he does just so long as they don't over pay the prick. I think if they made the deal, the team stayed healthy and the pitching lives up to what they are capable of...they would be a lock to win that division.
My big concern is how Man-Ram would play being "dissed" by the clubs this offseason. Is he going to show up with his ass on fire and ready to play like he has something to prove, or is he put and cry all season long and not give which ever team signs him his best effort?

I'm a dodgers fan but I don't have that much care for manny although I'm pretty sure he will end up in LA because we are the only team that is truly pursuing him. If it doesn't work out, I would be happy with acquiring Adam Dunn, and Orlando.
