I might sell my NES. It's just too much truble trying to get it to work, and the NES I got was pretty crapty anyway. So yeah, I might sell it and get a SNES.

You'd be better off with an emoolaytor.

I've mastered my NES. I've learned the trick to get it to boot up first shot everytime. Every NES is different it seems....

Oh, and before you do anything too hasty, might I suggest the ultimate cure? Dip Q-tip in alcohol, and gently wipe across the cartridge contacts, then wipe again with the dry side. 99.9% chance it'll make your NES good as new. I've yet to come across an NES that didn't have a case of the blinkies.

Top loaders don't get the blinkies. But you should spend your money on better things like food and electricity.

To get my other NES to work, you need a rubber band, eight crayons, a Koosh ball, a Catcher in the Rye paperback, a Garfield Pez dispenser, a Beatles White Album cassette case, a VHS copy of Throw Momma From the Train, and a Carl Yazstremski baseball card from 1973, when he had big sideburns.

Mines almost the same, except replace Catcher In The Rye with the Ox Bow Incident.

I still can't get the ing controller ports to work on it, though. It's not like I have a short supply of "broken" NES systems that were given to me, but it just bugs me. The first time I took it apart, there were handfulls of glitter inside. I looked like I'd been to the strip club after I put it back together.

My NES makes me do Arnold Schwarzenegger impressions while eating a box of Flutie Flakes using my copy of Tiny Toons: Plucky's Adventure for PSX....

Same deal. Prying the metal contact points in the system and giving me the game and system a good cleaning usual makes it work good as new for quite a while.

Despite the fact that I own 350+ NES cartridges, I find it easier and more convenient to just use emulatr0s.
