Does anyone know if the Sega CD and Sega 32X work with the small 3rd version of the Sega Geneis ?

I know almost for a fact the SCD doesn't. The Genesis 3 lacks the connecting port of doom. The 32X, however...probably does.

I have one (our original got broken when we moved from NY to IL) and it doesn't work with anything odd other than the Sonic and Knuckles cartridge.

Don't bother with the Sega CD, it was terrible and the games were overloaded with Full Motion Videos.
I liked the 32X, sure it was Sega's last effort to keep the Genesis going, but it had some great games come on the 32X ( Mortal Kombat 2, Virtua Fighter, Virtua Racing, Doom ect...).

Wow, I had no idea they made a third model. My grandmother had the bulky one, and I had the second edition (which I thought was the only other one). Pretty cool stuff.

I just want a Sega CD for Sonic CD and WWF Rage in the Cage. I could care less about anything else.

What is the "connecting port of doom" because I heard something about some kind of fire and explosions from the sega 32x can someone explain?

Its just like the Old WWF Games, they all sucked. WWF Smackdown was the first GOOD Wrestling game they had, although WCW had better games before them
