Cannibal Holocaust was brutal. I really want to watch Gumo, but can't find it over here in the UK.

Tommy. Yes, I know it was based on the stage show, which was based on the album, but the movie version just makes it even more ed up. How many other movies can you think of where a disabled person gets neglected (and then exploited) by his parents, beaten up by his cousin, molested by his uncle, and stuck in an iron maiden made of hypodermic needles?

I hated Cannibal Holocaust for the fact that they really did kill the animals.

No, but I prefer not to see Animals die just for the involvment of a film. Well that's what those people do, I mean they have to eat. And I think that was the purpose, to piss and offend people off.

Still, they didn't have to show a REAl snuff on film. And I hope no one decides to defend Gummo if the cats were actually killed, though I read they weren't. Now that I know this I may check it out.

Meet the Feebles_ Directed by Peter Jackson, the premise of this movie is that puppets are real, and it is backstage at a Muppets Show type program. But all of the puppets represent the worst of show business. Between the rabbit with Aids, the Walrus drug dealer, and the rat making S & M porn in the basement, this movie messed with my head.
Evil Alien Conquerors- This movie is just flat out wierd. Not disgusting or brutal, but flat out odd.
Dead Alive- OMG WTF! This is a zombie movie by Peter Jackson (how did this guy ever get funding to do LOTR) which is flat out the grossest zombie movie I had ever seen, untill
Re-Animator- A disembodied head gives a girl head against her will. Once you see that, try getting that image out of your head, ever.

I struggle to find any film unwatchable. I wasn't really freaked out by anything in Cannibal Holocaust, but I still cringe thinking that the animal deaths shown are real.

^^^^ Meet the Feebles was ing awesome. But anyway I saw Videodrome when I was younger and it kinda scarred me. I mean there's a gun that shoots cancer int that movie.

Strangeland is pretty weird... Obviously any of the Saw's and Hostel's are awful...
I just don't find myself intrigued by any of them anymore. They're just all so "blah."

All of the animals killed in Cannibal Holocaust were eaten by the cast and crew. Nothing went to waste.

Salo, for me, was a disturbing experience and though I like the film I usually don't recommend it. Cannibal Holocaust and Cannibal Ferox are classics, but weren't very hard for me to sit through. I Spit On Your Grave is kind of meh, and not really that screwed up or whatever. There are a few cool deaths though. I was kind of let down with it. The Piano Teacher is kind of ed up...in a more subtle and realistic way than most films listed. I still need to see Irreversible.
