I was on Wikipedia and was reading the WWF Hasbro article. Well, see what you think about these rumors or unreleased figures. Is there any backstory on this.

Prototypes
A Rhythm and Blues Tag Team set was planned but not produced. In a Toys "R" Us ad in 1991, there were some prototype shots of a Greg Valentine and Honkytonk Man tag team set, featuring Valentine with black hair, white boots and a white jacket with musical notes on it (still having the Hammer Slammer move). The set was never officially produced, and there has never been any historic proof of this particular Greg Valentine figure existing outside of these prototype shots.
Other planned but not produced figures in series 2 (1991) were Tugboat, Dino Bravo, Haku, The Barbarian (with a removable cloth cape), Nikolai Volkoff (when he became Face), Tito Santana (with long brown hair, white underwear and white boots but still having the Bulls Eye Bash move) and Boris Zhukov (when he became a singles wrestler). Tag Team sets planned but not produced in the same batch, as well as the Rhythm & Blues set, were a set of The Hart Foundation, of Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart, featuring Neidhart with a black vest, pink tights and white boots (still having the Anvil Flattener move), Power and Glory (Hercules and Paul Roma) and The Orient Express (Sato and Tanaka). None of these singles figures or tag teams other than the Rhythm and Blues set, not even the Hart Foundation Jim Neidhart, were even ever seen as prototypes.
Col. Mustafa and General Adnan were other figures planned but they were pulled from the toy line due to controversy of the recent Gulf War. Possibly due to why they could never have been released in the end, they could never have made it to prototype shots and could only be dismissed as hearsay.
Non-wrestlers who were planned for production were the most popular manager Jimmy Hart, Todd Pettengill and Vince McMahon (even though it is much to the delight of the fans that there was never a Vince McMahon figure ever produced). Obviously, no moulds ever existed of these figures.
In the Purple Card Series, a Brutus Beefcake figure was supposed to be included in his Red and Yellow Mega Maniacs outfit. He was replaced with Tatanka because Brutus had long left the WWF before the Purple Card Series was released.
The original mold for the Yellow Card Shawn Michaels figure was to have his right arm straight with a spring action. That design was replaced with the current version.
The final set released was on green card backs. The next set to be released would have been on orange card backs and was to include Jeff Jarrett, Diesel, Mo (from Men on a Mission), Mabel (from Men on a Mission), Lex Luger (in USA Gear), Owen Hart (King of Harts attire), and Bastion Booger. This series was never released because the contract fell through the WWF franchise and there were never even any moulds of these figures.
Although no major plans were ever made after the 'orange card' series which ultimately was never produced, it was said that the next series would have been on black cards - names on the short list were...Bret Hart #3 (New Mould), Allied Power British Bulldog, King Kong Bundy, Bob Backlund, Diesel #2 and Goldust. Of course no moulds were ever produced and the furthest it ever went were names on a piece of paper, which many have dismissed as hearsay.
For a brief moment, Hasbro kicked around the idea of making Shawn Michaels 4 and Razor Ramon 3 as mailaways, but that never came to be. Those 2 figures were added to the case shortly after the inital shipments were released.
There was also a second Dusty Rhodes released with yellow boots, tanner skin tone and brighter white hair. This figure has been seen on eBay over the years but never seen MOC making its true existence in question. Many Hasbro sites, however, list this figure as part of the collection and if it is in fact a true Hasbro release, the rarity of the figure is unknown.
So they are saying that there should have been figures of:
Greg Valentine (R&B)
Honky Tonk Man (R&B)
Jim Neidhart (Hart Foundation)
Paul Roma (Power and Glory)
Hercules (Power and Glory)
Boris Zhukov
Nikolai Volkoff
Tito Santana (white trunks)
Tugboat
Dino Bravo
Haku
Barbarian
Col. Mustafa
General Adnan
Jimmy Hart
Todd Pettengill
Vince McMahon
Brutus Beefcake (red & yellow trunks)
Jeff Jarrett

Lex Luger (in USA Gear)
Owen Hart (King of Harts attire)
Bastion Booger
Bret Hart #3 (New Mould)
