I wanted to see some opinions from WF members of some good NES/SNES games, I want to find some good games for both systems

Both systems have so many great games but I'll try to pick some of the best out.
NES: The Legend of Zelda Zelda II: Adventure of Link Super Mario Bros. Super Mario Bros. 2 Super Mario Bros. 3 Metroid Kid Icarus StarTropics Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! Duck Hunt Kirby's Adventure Final Fantasy Castlevania I-III Contra TMNT II: The Arcade Game Battetoads Ninja Gaiden Excitebike Baseball Stars

SNES mario all stars Zelda:a link to the past Uni rally(or uniracers for America) F zero
Nes Origional mario/zelda Duck hunt Dr mario tetris

im gonna just list some old favorties of mine for snes... not neccesarily all classics, but still good games.
out to lunch looney tunes bball tiny toon adventures: wacky sports challenge tiny toons: buster busts loose final fight 2 rival turf the flintstones: treasure of sierra madrock saturday night slam masters virtual bart (it blows, but the tomatoe game rules) nhl 95 new adventures of pacman 2 (or something like that) mlbpa baseball nba live 96
then of course you've got your zeldas, marios, donkey kongs, punch out, etc...

Some of my favorite SNES games are:
Super Mario RPG (Greatest game of all time IMO) TNMT Turtles in Time Disney's Aladdin Zombies Ate My Neighbors

Each and every single Mario game on the SNES games is a must, and I'd also recommend The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past.

virtual bart (it blows, but the tomatoe game rules) Holy crap, YES. Every other minigame on Virtual Bart sucked dick, if I didn't land on it I would just reset the game. A bunch of great games have already mentioned, but here are some must-haves. Zombies Ate My Neighbors Street Fighter II Turbo Link to the Past Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!
