Not as good a sweek before. Ihate how they throw ppv matches together with no build up...rhino/daniles, joe/aj.
X match was good. interview was good. ME was good at end. BashM'S cool to see. VKM needs to either get in the tag division or get released. And serotonin needs to be in the tag division

Good to see the usual 4 hours of television in 40 minutes..
Makes me happy I go out at night and read reports when I get home late.

A few thoughts... -Good finish with Homicide getting the win in the first match... TNA needs to keep LAX strong as its one of the few homegrown teams they have. -Basham and Damaja... it doesn't get any more bush league than those names right there (although Brother Runt is just as bad.) Why can't TNA give these guys new names? It's not like anyone knew who they were in WWE to begin with. This tag team looks like crap and so does VKM come to think of it. -I thought the Angle/Christian/Sting interview was a giant cluster ... it was 5 minutes of nonstop banter and all 3 guys were stumbling all over their words. -Shelley and Sabin are a godly tag team... TNA needs to market the crapout of these guys.

Homicide match was good, D-Von took a Border Toss and Homicide got the pin. The Bashams debuting was cool. Glad to see another tag team. The Sabin/Shelley match was good. They have very good chemistry. The ending match was great and the clothesline portion was awesome.

I think Cornette threw a hint/invitation to RVD and Sabu when he was talking about getting some hungrier guys to go after the title

LMFAO at Cornette saying there were no glass ceilings in TNA and they were going to give an up-and-comer a chance at a KOTM spot... so what do they do... they put a former NWA World Champ, Rhyno against Angle and pretend he is getting some huge opportunity.
Beside the fact TNA wanted us to forget Rhyno was ever a world champion, I thought this was a decent Impact. Shelley and Sabin own TNA...

Very surprised that next week we have Joe vs. Sting as they are two men that I figured would both be in the KOTM. BTW, this was the 3 year aniversary of tna being in the Impact zone in Orlando.

I was quite surprised too, but thats one thin like about TNA as well, you just dont know who might win matches cause there's really no jobbers. I enjoy that about TNA, the element of surprise

Very surprised that next week we have Joe vs. Sting as they are two men that I figured would both be in the KOTM. BTW, this was the 3 year aniversary of tna being in the Impact zone in Orlando. I figured it was because Sting will be in a match with Christopher Daniels at Slammiversary. I was even thinking Daniels would somehow cost him this match. I think they might have a 1st blood match.

TNA was not much to my liking this week. It seems TNA is doing the 1 storyline a week deal. There was not much carry over from last weeks storylines. However, they did fill in the gaps with intererviews, Roode/young.
There was no follow up with kazarian, and this Daniels, first blood challenge dies after one week, and there wer no x division stars.
I could have done without Hoyt/james vs the bashams. Neither one of those tag teams excite me. That time shoulda been filled with another first blood challenge, say Daniels vs kip james. Cage/Tomko vs LAX did nothing but shamelessly promote a future face off between those cage and tommy. That time coulda easily had been filled with sabin/Shelly vs LAX.
The ending to Joe/Sting was fine except Daniels interference shoulda been accidental with next week daniles doing another first blood challenge and sting interfering to cost him the match. One thing i applauded TNA for the past few weeks is consistency and meaningful matches. They dropped the ball this week! You have good storylines going then you throw in 2 tag team matches outta no where. Lets hope there's a reason for the heavy showing of tag teams this week, perhaps a resurgence of the division? I doubt it. However, the steiner /3d promo was well done.

- The Steiners/3D confrontation dragged on for more than what was needed. The confrontation itself was a joke. Team 3D really sounded like a couple of pussies showing "appreciation" for their heel opponents. God I hate Brother Ray... - Who the in TNA lets Tomko speak? The guy shouldn't even have a job, let alone get near a mic. - I'm loving Robert Roode's push. I think he should wait in line for a bit before he gets the world title, but TNA is doing a great thing pushing a homegrown with Roode's potential to the main event. - I see no potential in the Bashams. They are WWE Velocity/Heat wrestlers and that's what they'll always be in my eyes. The Bashams, along with Christy Hemme, need to be fired and forgotten about... they are not the guys that will take TNA to the next level. - Does anybody honestly care about VKM and Lance Hoyt? Like the Bashams and Hemme, they are deadweight... leftovers from when TNA was a weekly indy PPV.

I disagree with above....I think TNA using a few storylines each week makes for a less cluttered show as you all complain about. Very good show this week

That was one of the worst IMPACT's I've ever seen in my entire life.
Booking was terrible and so was the match quality.
First like 20 minutes were nothing but stupid promos and segments.
Bashams VS Hoyt/Kip James was very short and was very sloppy.
Christian/Tomko VS LAX was pretty bad to, Homicide barely did anything as usual. It was really slow and sloppy thanks to Tomko.
Joe VS Sting was pretty short and nothing really that special. intellectually- disabled how Joe beat Sting with a Samoan Drop...it's the only match on the show I'd even call decent at best.
Terrible terrible show.

People just find way to much to bitch about. Sit back & enjoy the show & stop acting like you could book any better.

I thought it was a fine show, not spectacular, but solid...
I don't care if both the Steiners/3D are past their prime, it's a match I've always wanted to see. 3D aren't as bad as most make them out to be, and Scotty Steiner has been better during his TNA run, then he has in years. I don't know what Rick will provide, but from an entertainment stand point, I think it will deliver.
I'm a fan of both Damaja and Basham, and I think they got the shaft in WWE. The feud between VKM/Hemme & Bashams may not be the greatest thing ever, but it's something for each of them to do. Hoyt sorely needs to heel turn and push, and it's looking more and more like that's going to happen.
Cage/Tomko vs LAX was perfectly acceptable. I enjoy the tension they're building between Cage/Tomko and it should lead to them facing off for a spot in the KOTM match. Not too sure why Rhino/Harris made the save, but LAX vs Rhino/Harris would be a pretty good match regardless. Not a fan of the LAX/Hector Guerrero feud though...
Joe vs Sting never really got the chance to take off, BUT it furthered a feud and put Joe one step closer to winning the TNA World title. As for the ending, I think it's more feasible to think that the bat shot ended the match for Sting, more so then the samoan drop. Daniels vs Sting should be exciting, and lead to a main event spot for Daniels..which I'm all for.
While the show was certainly not their best, it was far from "terrible" or the worst wrestling show I've seen..hell, there have been worse ones THIS week..
