I thought Cloverfield was amazing. The camera-work, originality and everyone makes it cool to watch. So yes, watch it

What a **** ending. The tunnel collapsed and killed them, i get tht Is it dead What were those things from the train tunnel How did they find the tape What happend to NYC What was that thing said at the end of the credits There better be a #2 The ending was perfect, it honestly couldn't have been done much better. The movie was portrayed as being shot from a home video camera, there was no real ending, the footage just cut. At the beginning of the film, they make it clear that it was retrieved from the site formally known as Central Park, presumably in the aftermath of the attack. The creatures in the subway were parasites that came from the monster, I believe they mention that in the newscast that is being shown all around the city. A sequel, as far as I'm concerned, would ruin the first. The ONLY way it would ever be justifiable is if it were the same attack from a different person's perspective. It would make sense, because surely someone else in the city documented the disaster. The line at the end of the credits, by the way, is "its still alive".

Also remember to keep an eye out at the end, where the monster drops into the ocean just before the credits.

Superb film. The camera work, script and characterization is perfectly put together, and although I'd love to know what happened afterwards, the ending is great.

Also remember to keep an eye out at the end, where the monster drops into the ocean just before the credits. But isnt that part of the film a month before the monster attacks

I really liked it. It was a break from the norm if you like. While it certainly wouldn't make my favourite 100 films compilation list it defintely will end up being a very iconic film down the road if you ask me.

One of the better POV movies out there. It's good, the characters never get over the top annoying, and the monster was cool looking. Desperately in need of a sequel.

I found it mildly entertaining. It's a pretty odd film, though.

It was good but the whole "I have to go save this girl I like" annoyed the crap out of me...

Amazing movie. I never got to experience the silver screen showing. But otherwise... it was great, original, and creative.

Also remember to keep an eye out at the end, where the monster drops into the ocean just before the credits. There is no evidence that it's the monster... in fact if you paid attention to the Viral marketing, it is likely the satellite that one of the viral websites said fell out of orbit... it likely crashed in the ocean, woke up the monster that had been dwelling in the ocean and caused him to attack... As for a 2nd movie, JJ Abrams has said that a second movie would likely involve the same attack but from someone else's perspective. Makes sense as if you watch the movie, the part where they are on the Brooklyn Bridge Hud actually briefly films another guy who is documenting as well...

Probably my favorite movie of last year. I just really loved the first person, home video perspective the film had.. and I'd love to see more movies like that. I don't even mean with the shaky cam effect, just more movies that feel like you're watching an actual event.
