Alright this thread is for exactly what the title asks. This is where you post your opinions on various parts of Wrestling that is generally looked down upon. For example, here are some of the opinions I have that some people may view as unpopular.
- John Cena is a very entertaining superstar and is here to carry the WWE for a long time.
- Classic wrestling is extremely boring. I can not sit through an entire Wrestling PPV pre 2001... The characters were boring and the matches for the most part were just ones that drag on.
- Bret Hart is probably one of the most overrated wrestlers in the history of the business.
- TNA dropped the ball with Johnny Devine.
- I find the Ultimate Warrior to be the most entertaining of all the characters from the 80's. I also thoroughly enjoy reading some of the posts he makes on his website as he tends to be dead on with what I am thinking.
Now it's your turn... try to keep your opinions on other peoples opinions to yourself and out of this thread... no need to get it locked.

I think Regal really sucks. He's crap on the mic, and he trys to come off looking like a bad ass in the ring, and he's just not. He's too stiff, and seems like he's not very protective of the other wrestlers well being, no matter how awesome a move looks.

-val venis and d'lo brown ruled -jack swagger is a mother  ing wrestler -the internet did not ruin wrestling. it's been around for a long damn time and there were smart marks in the 90's as well. i started watching in 2000 and was immediatley on the internet. and 2000 ing rocked. |

-98 percent of the people who post on the WWE board (to me) are probably mentally intellectually- disabled people thinking there opinions are valid
- Vince McMahon is always entertaining when he's on TV
-Hogan inspired me as a kid, Flair made me hate old people.
-Randy Savage, when on the mic, it was always cool how he yelled then went into a calm mode, then yelled again, then calmed down....during EACH sentence.
-Triple H and The Undertaker need to finally end their career. They're both great on screen, but there is NOTHING you can do to keep these characters fresh and cared about.
-Evolution was a ****ty stable
-Priceless is just as stupid
- The only reason Virgil was made a jobber, is because he was black. If they let him show his true skill, he'd of replaced God in the Shawn Michaels / McMahon handicap match
-Virgil only eats bones, meat (he says) is for ****'s

The Attitude Era was nothing more then a vulgar soap opera that had to add chairs, ladders, tables, thumbtacks etc because 80% of the stars couldnt actually work in the ring.
Hulk Hogan is the greatest Entertainer EVER
Ric Flair is the greatest Wrestler EVER
John Cena is the 2nd/3rd Coming of Hulk Hogan/Steve Austin

- Miz and Morrison are not entertaining.
- Edge is not, and has never been, the best heel in the business.
- John Morrison is not the second coming of Shawn Michaels.
- Matt Hardy is not a good wrestler.
- Randy Orton II, aka Ted Dibiase Jr, is not a good wrestler.

Randy Orton is bland, boring, mediocre, overrated, over-pushed, and undeserving. CM Punk is one of the best things going in wrestling today... is one of the best wrestlers on the roster, and is the future of the WWE. John Morrison is highly overrated, an average wrestler - who relies pretty much on fancy flips and spots, has zero charisma, is god-awful on the mic, couldn't get over if his life depended on it... and is nowhere close to being "the next Shawn Michaels". Miz is a better wrestler than Morrison. Paul Burchill has the potential to be a main eventer, if used correctly. Katie Lea should be Women's Champion. Jack Swagger is nothing special - and the fact that he won the ECW title so soon, is a joke.. Jillian needs a push. Melina is awful, and cannot really wrestle all that well. I actually really enjoy Michelle McCool. She's awesome in the ring and gorgeous if you ask me. Pretty much on the money - there's absolutely nothing wrong with McCool.. I wouldn't go as far as to say she's awesome in the ring - but at least she wants to wrestle, and has improved dramatically, since arriving in the WWE.. |

TNA dropped the ball with a bunch of guys, not just Devine.
Orton is boring and undeserving.
Always liked Matt Hardy better than Jeff Hardy.
I like CM Punk.

Paul Burchill is overrated as hell. He's decent, but he had no character, no pop, no sizzle.
I hate CM Punk's fanbase, but don't mind CM Punk myself.
I'm sick and tired of seeing Triple H & The Undertaker.
Anything before the 90's is boring wrestling tbh.
I like John Cena & Randy Orton, and think they are the future of WWE.
Batista is very boring.
Jeff Hardy is the better Hardy brother.
WWE now is better than WWF Attitude, wrestling wise.
Vince McMahon needs to take his dick out of Triple H's ass.
And that's pretty much it.

hogan is actually one of the worst wrestlers in the business, its his character being in the match that made anything interesting, and totally distracted you from the fact that he cant wrestle
"classic" wrestling, like awa, nwa, and the old wcw sucks so bad I cant even watch it. I don't know why pople patronize the blandest time of wrestling, and the wrestling then wasn't all that great becauce after watching the starcade dvd I realized every guy from that era was stocky 350pounds, wore black red, white or yellow tights, had blonde hair, and could sub as the generic wrestler from any wrestling game from that era

ECW ( the real ECW , not WWECW) was the greatest thing ever.
The Attitude Era was the best era and had better guys
John Cena , Batista & Edge are stink as main eventers.
If ECW was called something else people would like it more as it's a good show
Bret Hart is a legend , but there are people higher up then he is
John Cena is crap compared to Steve Austin and The Rock
WWE has no clue anymore how to make starts or use talent - proof Paul Birchill , Eliah Burke and DH Smith
Evolution was ajoke , but Legacy COULD be good if they build it right
Randy Orton sucks but ius the best heal to push right now.
JBL is great on the Mic and his time as WWE Champ was entertaining
The only reason Chavo Guerrero has a job is because of Eddie. Chavo in fact has no real value.
TNA will never beat Raw in the ratings
WWE would be better with less TV time and no brands , just WWE.
TNA will fold within 5 years due to lack of funds.
Samoa Joe will also be held back due to his body type
Steve Austin , The Rock and Breat Hart will never wrestle again
with over 20 PPVs a year I think this is hurting wrestling more then helping.
PPVs are almost pointless as most of the match have either happend on TV or will.
The biggest things to hit pro wrestlign in order are - Hulk Hogan , The nWo and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Nothing has has been as big and drawed as much.

Ricky Steamboat vs Randy Savage is the greatest match in the history of the WWE. NOT any TLC as these 2 men were so great they did not need plunder to help them.
Chris Benoit will never be forgiven for what he did and shouldn't be
WCW was only huge becuase of the nWo , if that did not happen they would have never wont he ratings.
Real Wrestling fans like the WCW becuase the ligthweight was great at the time.
WWE took back over thanks to Stone Cold pushing Mike Tyson on RAW.
