I'm 13 and my entire family tells me I am to old and that the figures are a waste of money. When I tell them about the people on the site with 3 times as many figures as me they just say that all those people are extremly nerdy and probobly arn't married.
I think you should be able to play with your figures no matter your age.
PLAY ON!

I'm 20 and I still play with figures on occassion. It's rare when I get the chance because of my college priorities but during vacation I come back home and have a few shows and a ppv with my younger brother. It makes it better when there is someone else to play with you, there can be a collaboration of ideas for storylines and what not. That's one thing that keeps me from getting bored.

I don't play with my figures nearly as much as I use to. about once a week I'll have a match or two keeping up with storylines in my fed. Do whatever makes you happy. There's a lot worse crapout there you could be doing in stead of playing with toys. I bet mom and dad would be real happy if you started sniffing coke instead of goofing around with action figures.

Im 18 and i still play when i have time. I used to have random matches, like maybe 3 through out the whole day. But then about 6 months ago i started doing my own PPVs. My g/f, who is awesome and 100% supports my collecting/playing, and she's really nostalgic as in photos, records, etc. So i keep all my PPVs in a notebook, and keep a record of all my champions. Kinda nerdy but i dont care, it makes me happy and thats what its all about.

The other day i was in the good ol` wrestling mood , so i grabbed some figures and did a Battle Royal Elimination type of thing and a "Finisher Match". I still love to pick up some figures and just do matches and know that "wrestling figures" is something i can use to play with or just use if im bored.
Making PPV`s and Shows isnt really my thing. School and Martial Arts has my days filled up so i only make matches when im totally free.

I think playing with the figs stops when you get older. When I was young I played with the Hasbros, now I just enjoy collecting and setting them up in a nice way.

I will make everyone on here FEEL ALOT BETTER...I am 33 (gasp) and still play with my figs, I have a wife ( of 13yrs ) two kids (2/5) we both have college degrees, own a home, cars, timeshare and live a pretty good life.I have matches often,a arena built in my basement, all figs displayed loose on shelves ,a binder to map out my feds (one classic/ one current ) and currently filling the small gaps in my collection I am proud to say only Stacey left since I just made trades for Kenzo and Johnny the Bull ;D So yeah its like anything else it can fit in your schedule you just have to get some REALLY GOOD TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS !!!! Never stop doing something that makes you happy....as long as it doesn't hurt or kill someone else

There's never a right or wrong time to stop playing with figures IMO, I stopped when I was 12, I remember buying a few more Hasbros afterwards (like the Natural Disasters because I'd been wanting them for ages) but as I wasn't playing with them anymore I stopped buying them. If I was that age now though I may well have continued buying RA/CS just to display but back then they were just toys really. There's definately nothing nerdy or sad about doing anything harmless that you enjoy, it's alot more nerdy and sad to prevent yourself doing it or hide it because of what "people" say. I don't really understand it when people say they play on a Monday afternoon from 5-7 and they are going to reduce it then stop at a certain time, that's a bit weird, you should just do it when you feel like it. I just bought a load of Divas, some of which have new parts I never saw up close before :/ and whilst I was examining them :/ I tried out a few moves and played with them a bit :/

I'm 25 and I don't really play with the figures, though I do mean to. I'll usually play through a few moves, like a finishing sequence to a match or something, but I don't play a federation or anything - or use a ring (I keep telling myself that I'll play a federation when I get a decent ring for BnBs). I've tried out a Razor's Edge with my Razor BnB that I got yesterday. I've tried that move on Cena, Elijah and Chavo. I've had Finlay hit the Celtic Cross on Regal, and Regal butterfly suplex Finlay.
One odd thing I do is sort of write a federation - I suppose like the text feds here. Over the years, I've gone through literally hundreds of notebooks that I buy for writing songs, script notes and school/university stuff when I was at those, and I end up filling pages in the notes with PPV card ideas - usually starting from current and going on for about a year's worth of cards, at which point I get bored at the lack of new talent because I don't know who will be debuting. But sometimes I write it out as an "ideal" federation where I use talent from the past and present to create my favoured WWE roster. Sometimes I write these based on figures I have or could get (like I'll plan out a federation using only guys who have BNB figures... Or only guys who have BCA figures... Or only mini-ring figures... etc) but I very rarely actually include the figures.
But when I get a decent ring for BnBs, I will create some storylines and set it all up and play the shows. I said that to my girlfriend today and she said it's a lie. I always tell her I'm going to play with new figures I get but I never get round to it.

It's odd how when I was a kid I could spend hours having fun with 4-point-of-articulation playmos, 5-point-of-articulation star wars figs or 6-point-of-articulation MOTU figs, and now it's hard to get that groove on with wrestling figs. Maybe age changes that or imagination does curb a bit. I still like to play with my figs, but I suffer with joints getting lose and paint chipping/wearing off, so I prefer to take it easy on 'em and do more of the "pic-fed picture takin'" Anyhow, I see a lot of people justify that they play or not because they are such and such age. If you earned money to buy them, you earned the right to play with 'em if you wanna.

I was probably about 8 or 10 when I stopped playing with my Hasbros. To this day, though, I still open my figures, display them, and put them in different poses every now and then.

I'm also one of the older guys (and married). I stopped playing with action figures around 12 or 13, in part because of social pressure, but also because it stopped being as much fun. Video games took up a lot of playing time too.
As an adult, I had 2 or 3 figures of my favorite characters on display, but I didn't become a real collector until my son got old enough to have cool action figures. I saw his stuff and had to get in on the action. Now I only display my figures, but my son will often ask me to play with him with his toys. I love kids, and they get a kick out of an adult who can get down on the floor and play with them.
If you enjoy playing with figures, go for it. People have all kinds of "weird" hobbies. Some grown men play with Legos. One of my buddies builds and plays with trains. Honestly, these days, especially after 40 yr Old Virgin, its probably easier for 30 year old men to "get away with" collecting/playing with toys than it is for a teenager. Your teenage years are so filled with social and parental pressure. Still, do what makes you happy.
