Extremely happy Angle won, I was pulling for him to win it. I enjoyed KOTM, Abyss/Tomko, Lethal/Sabin, and The Tag title match. Animal was a good replacement for Scott. Happy to see Lethal finally get the X-Title. I really liked this PPV. I'm not picky, not everything has to be a 5 star match for me to enjoy it. Good going TNA, good show IMO

People complaining about an Angle world title run? wow. Well Angle hasn't exactly had any "OMG match of the year" matches in TNA. His matches with Joe weren't even close to what they could of been. The first one was like what 11 minutes? The second one was good but not great and I haven't seen the 3rd but I heard it was pretty sloppy and I never hear anyone really talk about it so I guess it wasn't that good. Angle is good but his getting old and his injury's are catching up to him. I agree that the bitching is a little too much but I think everyone is just sick of every mainstream guy coming before Joe. Joe was suppose to get the title but Sting got it, Joe was suppose to get it after him but Abyss got it(not complaining here he needed it), and then Abyss holds it for a month and drops it to Christian. Now Christian drops it to Angle. Every time Joe seems next in line TNA hot shots it on a former WWE guy. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say we are sick of seeing Angle, Christian, & Sting come before guys like Joe, AJ, & Abyss. Hell even Tomko is main eventing solely because he was a former WWE guy. Not to mention AJ has become Christian's bitch. This is the same **** that killed WCW. |

Give Tomko credit, he is a lot better than he was in WWE. I'm surprised he took the fall on the broken glass tonight

I agree, Abyss and Tomko had an amazing match, loved how Abyss pulled the black cloth that was covering the cardboard boxes lol.

Cardboard boxes or not, when you're falling from that height it will at least knock the wind out of you.
Overall, I personally thought the PPV was good.
Wildcat last night proved he can hang with the top guys in TNA. Hopefully he gets a run eventually.

I didnt watch the ppv last night but read the results. Glad hoyt turned on VKMs. Not sure why truth and was in the match with storm. Senshi/rhino made sense after Harris was announced as the 5th guy. Puting Harris in made sense as well instead of giving the spot to someone that didnt even fight for it. Was shocked to see Animal. thought he was working for WWE? Now about Angle. Initially I wasnt happy with the decision to put it on him but now I guess it does make some sense. give him his title shot, get it out of the way and then get him moved on to whatever this other project of his is. The only problem with this is that he prob wont have the title long...but hopefully Joe will get the belt. If you are getting ready to go 2 hours, you prob dont want a relatively unknown as your champion...that my theory anyway...Joe known, just not mainstream. |
