Ive never seen this before. Apparently this was the very first time (at a house show) that WCW announced that Flair was stripped of the WCW World Title. (7/91).
**Please ignore the best you can the smarks that are holding the camera. I really wish I could smack the **** outta them**

I just love the fans reaction to the announcement. Of course GAB was amazing because the entire 3 hrs the fans just chanted WE WANT FLAIR

Interesting. .....but just out of curiosity, why two rings at the house show? Im thinking this was at MSG or Nassau so it was probably a "special attraction" event for the New Yorkers, maybe a 2 ring battle royal or wargames

There's NO WAY a) WCW would give up War Games in a house show & b) WWF would allow WCW to run MSG

There was actually many more wargames then what is "announced" I highly doubt this was one of they though. Also WCW/NWA has run shows at MSG but it was very very very rare. WWF really couldnt keep them out.

There was actually a War Games match at this show, I think it featured Lex Luger and Sting.......I can't remember though.

WCW DID run shows a Madision Square Garden but it was at the Theater at MSG. The two shows they did took place in 1993 and 1996. I attended both shows. In fact, I still have the ticket stub for both shows. The clip in the original post is dated July 7th, 1991 at the Coliseum at Richmond, Virginia.
