Tottenham Hotspur beat Chelsea 2-1 in the Carling Cup Final.
Didier Drogba opened the scoring, before Dimitar Berbatov equalised and Jonathan Woodgate won the game 3 mins into the first half of Extra Time.

n1 for Spurs.
They've really turned themselves around, and will definately be serious players next season. They started off slow, and on the wrong end of the table, but credit were credit is due, they've improved 1000 fold.

Great news for me, although I support Liverpool I really wanted Tottenham to beat Chelsea and was supporting Tottenham 100%, when Woodgate scored I like practically celebrated despite my Liverpool love. TBH, I do think Tottenham deserved to win overall Also, teh reasons I supported Tottenham were: 1. I hate Chelsea 2. one of my favourite teachers supports them

They fully deserved it, Chelsea took it like bitches as always, Spurs were brilliant. So pleased for Berbatov & Keane, they have finally got something for their hard-work over the last 2 seasons, other players were deserving asweel but when Berbatov arrived, that finally pushed Spurs to the next level and with him and Keane up front they are unstoppable - so long as everything stays tight at the back, and maybe they get a midfielder, they can definately challenge for Champions League spots. Brilliant game, Chelsea were poor but Spurs were excellent which provided the game with it's best moments.
Well done Tottenham Hotspur!

That was bloody brilliant! We are the balmy Tottenham army!
Tottenham were excellent throughout. Extra time was an excruciating half hour.

We turned up expecting to win. Spurs wanted it twice as much as us, and that's what you get. I thought they were better in the first half, but second half and all of extra time, we dominated.
Avram Grant can go now. Had enough of him. If Mourinho gets sacked for comming second, and still winning two cups, then no way should Grant be kept on. Dropped Joe Cole, Shevchenko and Ashley Cole, for no reason at all. Dusgusted. He has no passion at all. I need something to blame anyway. I thought Kalou was good today, but I don't actually care to be honest.

It's nice to see Tottenham finally acheive some of their potential. Berbatov and Keane were both brilliant

Oh god, I have a friend who supports Tottenham, I'll be avoiding him for a while, not that I support Chelsea or anything, but he will be even cockier than usual.

Yay. ;D
Awesome to be a Spurs fan right now. Ever since Ramos took over it's been nothing but positive. Game came to life after the penalty today and turned out to be very entertaining. Spurs deserved it I reckon although Chelski could've nicked it at the end.
COYS!

I think for the first time since I've been supporting Spurs, it looks like we have a full team. Now let's use it to win the UEFA Cup too.

I mean if Keane was like that for the CARLING CUP what'd he be like for the UEFA CUP Lmao Keane's spurs through and through, after being at this club for 6 seasons now winning his first proper trophy with Spurs he is delighted for the club. When Keane retires Spurs will be the most noticeable club he has played for after his success here and winning the Carling Cup on the 24/02/08.
