Yeah this may sound like a stupid thread but i thought why not post it and see the replies i get if any.
Sky sports are going to please me very much next weekend with airing both Spurs and Reading's first Premiership game of the season on Saturday (spurs) and then Reading (sunday). It's great for me considering i support both teams and are really hoping they do well this season.
Anyways i thought i would hear your thoughts on some questions:
What are you looking forward to this season? and do you think it will be yet another exciting premiership season?

Yh of course it will be an exciting year, i think whata amazing about this year is the money thats being spent, lots of teams are wanting to qualify for europe but only 2 or 3 will get in, so thell be lots of dissapointed teams considering the money clubs have spent..
Im looking 4ward to a last minute cahill winner at goodison in the uefa cup semi final.... then the boxing in the corner along with the roar of 40,000 fans
cant wait 4 that

I'm looking forward to another season watching Ipswich Town draw at home and lose 5-0 away. ;D Ha! I reckon ITFC will do alright, providing everyone else comes down with a case of the flu.

I can't wait to see Evertons new signings. Can't wait to see City's new players, couldn't go yesterday 'cos I was at a wedding.

How can you claim to 'support' two teams in the same league as each other?

How can you claim to 'support' two teams in the same league as each other? That's what I was thinking. Must be related to Ian.

What's wrong with supporting two teams in the same league? I prefer spurs but i support reading as i was born there.
End of story... Nice if you could actually reply to the question.

You can't support two teams, you support one team, if you support two teams it just means you are a glory hunter tbh. Usually because the second team is a top team, Chelsea, Man Utd etc. Me, i only support the mighty Toon Army

Chelsea are on at the weekend too. Probably nip into town to watch it, or go up to the So Bar.

How is that?, u support Spurs 'apparently', and they are a top Premiership side, so that imo, is glory hunting.

I will say one last thing i have supported spurs all my life and the same with Reading i wasn't going to let the fact that Reading got promoted change who i supported.

I knew that someone was going to pick up on the fact he supports two Premiership teams, so I'll wade in with my view. And don't anyone DARE say that it's impossible to do, because it can be done as both Hoo-Rah and myself are testament to that. First of all, I did support Newcastle long before I enjoyed watching Arsenal play, but only because I felt I had to. Living just a couple of miles from Newcastle it was always thought that you should support them, so I did. Around 2000/01 I started to get into a broader range of football as I liked a few foreign teams, which is all well and good because who doesn't? Anyway, Arsenal really caught my eye a little after that time as I enjoyed the way they played. I still do prefer Arsenal's style to Newcastle's and I still only support Newcastle as they are my local team and I like to see them do well. The two teams never get in each other's way (except maybe the odd Cup pairing here and there) so it's not as if I'm following Chelsea and Man Utd at the same time who are big rivals. I'll use another example here. Say you supported Chelsea and also followed Preston as they are your local team and you were a non-believer in supporting two teams in the same league. What if Preston got promoted to the Premiership? Would you stop supporting one or the other? Absolutely not. You know that they can co-exist and everything will be fine. I'm not gonna stop watching one of the best movers of a football in the country, if not the world, just because a few teenagers say "That's impossible! You can't follow two football teams!" It's not the end of the world so leave me and others to enjoy whatever we want and bugger off!
I myself am looking forward to the start of the season. There's nowt on the TV on Saturdays now so it'll be a relief to have Match Of The Day back again.

I guess really that i follow Reading as i was born there and not such the fact that i really support them like i do with spurs.

You're both freakin' morons.
It is common knowledge that you cannot support two teams. Its against the unwritten rules of being a football fan.
