as a wrestling fan for 51 years, i watched brutus magnus on tna, on 2-5-09, and he did not really impress me, some good moves, he is well built, but he plays to the crowd to much, although, he did win. he is stuck on him self, put him in a feud with matt morgan, and matt, would wipe up the mat[no pun intended] with him. thats just my opinion. will see what happens down the road, so to speak.

Since when was Matt Morgan so great? I saw Brutus on the UK tour & although not great for the lack of experience he has I was impressed & thought he came across well. With time could be one to watch. Also as a fan of so long I'm sure you are aware the newcomers who are faces often will play to the crowd a bit more as trying to get themselves noticed.

I was actually pretty impressed with him. Seems like a decent talker and has the right look. He actually seems more like a WWE guy to me. I liked the finisher okay too.

A wrestling fan for 51 years? Damn! How old are you? What are you doing on a internet forum at that age?
Anyways, I didn't really like Brutus last night. He barely sold moves, and I just didn't like his style. I'm not gonna judge him anymore than that, though.

This is stupid. "Playing to the crowd too much" is not a comment an adult would make. The whole point of wrestling is to get the crowd into your match.

Why's he selling for Sharkboy?

I know it was only his first appearance on Impact but I liked him. He needs to work out the kinks in the move set but his work on the stick sold me. He did very well with his promo in my opinion. His delivery kind of reminded me of Regal and that can never be a bad thing. Besides TNA needs some European flavor anyway. His little pose is good for a laugh too.
Like it or not I think Brutus is upon us.

I wasn't impressed with him, Mike and Don made his finisher sound great but it was nahh, pretty basic in my opinion

I thought Brutus Magnus was great in his debut match. He is just as good as half the guys on the roster!

He's better than alot of the reviews were making him out to be. I did get a lol out of how Tenay and West were making his finisher sound like the best thing ever, and it turns out to just be a Samoan Drop with a slight turn, though.

i was also not impressed with Debut to be honest Sharkboy was a better wrestler tat night at least he entertained me a little bit unlike Magnus who frankly barely did anything to get the win , i am a really big fan of TNA and to be Honest i dont think TNA can get any worse then it did this past thursday , i was actually ashamed to call my self a fan of TNA , its just sad TNA Used to be My favorite Company they had great wrestlers , great wrestling matches , great prices and now it feels like a WWE ripoff with their pricing , their toned down matches and if they keep it up they may honestly lose some fans as well as a lot of money , i apologise for ranting that honestly was not my intention
