now i know they dont get along at all BUT if they found their senses then they could possibly make a company that could potentialy be a top contender for wwe and even some japan organisations now my thinking behind this is that theyre such good promotors and have great visions, as it were, and both their companies were great! i mean WCW was running and competing with WWE and, had ECW been given the chance via getting a TV network when TNN ed them over, ecw was getting big and wwe and wcw took their talent which spoke wonders. i would love to see this as wwe are taking over wrestling as they have OVW and FCW as developmental companies and every one mentions them(wwe) but when WCW was about people talked about both you know. but its all WWE and a little bit of talk about "wwe lite" AKA TNA! whats youre thoughts?

The day Shane Helms gets released, he should totally call up Paul E. and Bisch and start up Future Endeavors Wrestling.
Many will enter, but FEW will win!

Bischoff and Heyman pretty much burnt themselves out - if they were really that great all the time, where the hell are their companies now? And their visions for a successful company probably aren't the same, let alone personalities.
Plus, this is the important thing - the talent pool isn't there for any other company to compete with WWE. I've watched TNA the last few weeks and it's shocking how poor most of their young talent is at selling and pacing and telling any kind of story with a match.
How many wrestlers are there that aren't signed to either WWE or TNA that could really carry a promotion? And not a promotion that caters to crowds of 200 smarks, but a real promotion that works on a national and international scale? The real big names (Rock, Hogan, Goldberg, Warrior) are done with wrestling on that kind of pressure level. Who's left? You could take a gamble on RVD, I guess, but he's about all there is for unsigned main event talent. Or maybe Lashley, depending on how much he's really concentrating on his minor MMA league job. But neither of those guys are household names.
Heyman and/or Bischoff, at their best, would be able to run an entertaining show. But without huge financial backers, and a much greater well of talent to draw from, it would be nowhere near competing with WWE. Heck, both of them went out of business in 2001, when there was tons of main event talent around.

They have great wrestling minds, but they both suck with money.

Eric Bischoff could of handled that. As for WCW, it was because of the Turner executives that overlooked everything Bischoff did. You brought up some great points here, but the above I feel you missed the point. Sure, Bischoff wouldn't be good at pushing the young talented guys, but Paul Heyman could save the day, I feel it would work if this were 1997 again.

Great idea man. It's something I think about everyday. The wrestling world would be so much better off if Heyman or Bischoff were in the position Vince is in today.
