Sabu vs. Mankind at Wrestlefest-50 years of Funk --Its a great match and the DVD is awesome picked it up from Highspots Also, Bret Hart vs. Terry Funk at 50 years of Funk --The match from Beyond The Mat that which was "suppose" to be his last match and it didn't dissapoint. I recommend any original ECW fans especially 3PW to pick up this DVD you will enjoy. Hehehe, I assume that's me, mate, and thanks for thinking of me, glad you like it, but I do already have it, and think it's great you like it, awesome stuff bud!!! ;D I recently re-watched The Hardy Boyz VS Edge/Christian in the famed Tag Team Ladder match, No Mercy '99. |

Yugi Nagat vs Kurt Angle-Tokyo Dome
Very good, Im starting to like the TNA announcers more and more, they maybe overly excited but atleast they are passionate and do their homework. WWE announcers suck only one I like is Matt Striker. The match was goo lots of technical stuff, suprised when Nagata did'nt get the win

I watched Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin from Survivor Series '96 last night.
Such a great match, entirely different from Wrestlemania 13. If WM 13 never happened, people would still be talking about this match, but it's sadly overshadowed by the (admittedly better) Wrestlemania contest. Still, I'd have no qualms giving it the full monty of five stars.
I also watched CM Punk vs. Terry Funk from Sep. 2003 Ring of Honor. Not a great match by any means but a great moment for Punk showing a relentless, vicious streak. It showed what a killer heel he could be, not just a wise-cracking heel.

Shawn Micheals vs Diesel -Good Friends Better Enemies.
HBK bumped his but of in that match. Diesel was'nt have way bad back in those days.

Absolutely, my sentiments exactly...Similar spots were used in the tiny WCW ring, and Hennig looked blown up in places...Anyway, at least we remember the good matches, eh? |
