TNA Weekly PPVs (Nov. 12, 2003)
Sting/AJ Styles vs. Lex Luger/Jarrett
--I think it was just crazy at the time to see Lex Luger even make an appearance somewhere (outside of the WWA ones). So my question is, why didn't TNA sign Sting to more than four appearances back in 2003? I mean the guy could draw and was easily one of the most popular wrestlers still.

I think it was that they LEGIT couldnt afford him and he wasnt really that interested so things reached an impass. my last was HBK vs Undertaker HIAC. my God HBK pulled a hell of a juicer here

HIAC was built for people to bleed in.in the PG era its way too tame.

Totally agree man, though I've said before I'm not keen on people pouring with blood, but it definitely makes it more of a spectactle. They've overdone the match way too much, used to be exciting when it was once every couple of years.

Even though I'll give props to Edge and Taker, they did some new stuff in their match. (Spear through cell, Chokeslam off top rope through two tables, the chokeslam through the ring was cool after the match too)

I watched 2 today Edge vs. Lance Storm for the IC title at SummerSlam 2001 This was an excellent match and it made me really miss the "older" style compared to the "entertainment" style we get in most of the matches on Raw and Smackdown these days.
Edge vs. Test at Survivor Series 2001 This was a unification match with the WCW US title and the WWF IC title on the line. The match wasnt as good as the Storm/Edge match but it was still decent. It also made me realize how bad the invasion angle was...they should have brought in all the real wcw stars it could of been amazing.
